Mute turned to her, his ears flat, his hackles raising. "Says who? A fighter?" he growled, his voice dripping with derision. "You are nothing but dead baggage for this pack, as you said. You truly cannot belong here- defending an omega? Pah." his voice was dripping with sarcasm now. "You're a fighter... but that doesn't mean I fear you. I am Beta of this pack, and I don't need a fighter... no wait, a weak wolf to order me around. As for how pack members treat each other, I just heard you say you didn't want to be a part of this pack. So you would know, indeed," he growled, his voice starting to return to a normal pitch. "You're biased, trying to defend an omega just because she tried to coax you to stay? Honestly." he flicked his tail and smirked, touching Crow with the tip of his tail. "I know you wouldn't want to leave Spring, Crow, so you... don't follow me. I'm leaving the pack though, because it's being dominated by weak, soft-willed wolves. The Alpha would be no better.. after all he is the brother of an omega. It just goes to show you how low the pack society has become!" he snarled, lashing his tail.

Crow stared at his brother, unable to believe him. Mute? What is wrong with you? You of all wolves should know the importance of Omegas, they help other wolves keep calm. But you... there's an unknown factor in this, and I'm going to find out.
"You can go," he said, dipping his head, his eyes narrowed. "I won't follow you. You're on your own, Mute. You can probably come back later," he said, then silently added, after you calm down.

Icepaw stared at Jadefur, his muscles not relaxing from their tensed position. She would have to attack first, being the mentor. He stared at her, his blue eyes pools of calm. He could wait here until Starclan fell onto the camp.

    Username: Namimoro
Character's name: Yogen (Call me Genna)
    Breed: Japanese Badger
Appearance: Yogen is a young Japanese badger who has two black stripes on her eyes. She is brown, and her fur colors from light brown to dark brown. Her claws are sharp and so are her eyes!

    Age: 32 moons
Gender: I am a female, by the definition of being the gender that bears young.
    Rank: Healer
Personality: She is kind, gentle, and she can be quite a know-it-all sometimes. She has an uncanny knowledge of the human world, and often knows how to brew strange herb mixtures. She has gentle paws that can treat any wound, but her claws are sharp enough to defend anyone who is in her den. She has an amusing, sarcastic sense of humour and often cannot conceal her amusement.
History: Is being a japanese badger so strange? Nope, I wasn't really born in Japan- but my grand-mother was. She told her daughter to name her grand-daughter 'Yogen', and that the daughter would become an important part in some great journey, or something. Yeah, something like that. I can't actually speak japanese, but 'Yogen' means prediction, prophecy... You can just call me Genna, though.
    Mate/Crush: -/-
Family: My grandmother, and mother, though they got run over by the same car while chasing a grub.
Other: (Can Yogen be part of a prophecy?)

Icepaw saw her coming a split second before she leaped. He couldn't move fast enough, and he rolled over with Jadefur's weight on top of him. He snarled at her, struggling, but he couldn't move. He realized he had tensed his leg muscles before she landed on him, so he drew his back legs up and kicked explosively.

    OOC:
Oh by the way, I read the first post. It was very well done, however I spotted a slight error- you keep using 'cetes'. I take this to mean many badger groups? A 'cete' is the term for a badger group. If you only mean one group, you should use 'cete' :o

OOC: We aren't RPing by the EXACT badger behavior and stuff, right? Because they hibernate in winter. Also, Redsneeze is badger-talk for Tuberculosis. :L

Yogen lumbered out of the Healer's den, trailing her tail behind her. "Cold? Yes indeed, it is cold," she said, her voice tinged with worry. "Weather like this will surely bring on Redsneeze," she said, shuddering. "I need to find a way to treat it- ugh, it's one of the diseases that almost all badgers die from," she said, making sure everyone heard.
Winter will just make it worse...

Trix smiled nervously, seeing all the eyes watching her. She held onto Chris with one hand and waved at the crowd with the other. The horse pulling the chariot was the color of sand- she wondered idly how the Capitol could afford to buy all these different-colored horses, but still have not enough money to sponsor the tributes? Or perhaps they were just cruel, and didn't want to sponsor the tributes anyway.

Andrew saw Trix in front of him, and he glared at her back. You look nice, he thought, But when the Games begin, you might not be so pretty, little sister.
He swung his rock around idly, fingering his shell necklace. As much as it pained him, he still wore it. It was the only memory he had of his mother... even if it reminded him of Trix. Stupid girl, to snatch his mother away from him.

Mute stretched and awoke, her inner clock finely attuned to the start of dawn. Of course, because it's the time when dead bodies must be cleaned up. Oh, and the new arrival ceremonies. There'll have to be a celebration, because it's many foxes this time.
She grabbed a bit of moss with her teeth and pulled it into a corner, she would sleep more comfortably the next day. She padded out and looked around. Another fox was already awake. Mute recognized it to be the one she had invited bluntly last midnight. Ah, so this one had survived. The first one up, too.
"Hello," Mute greeted. "I am glad that you are coming to be a part of our pack. I congratulate you on your strength." She dipped her head at the other fox, this being a part of the pack tradition. "We shall wait for the others to wake."

Yogen smiled at everyone. "Thanks for your enthusiasm," she said, then she used a gentle voice as she said, "But I can only take one badger. Do you mind if I take Bearpaw? He's the smallest, and he would be less likely to trample the precious winter herbs," she said, then added, "Sorry."
She sniffed the air, autumn smelling sweet and cold. "I trust you know what herbs we must stock up? The ones that will help us during the inevitable redsneeze infection would be?" She raised her tone, adding an inflection to make a question.
"Garlic for infection. Honey for throats. Ginger, because it's good for your health," Yogen explained quickly before turning to trot out of the camp.

Yogen chuckled, nudging Bearpaw playfully. "Being a Healer isn't all boring, y'know! To get honey, you have to fight off the bees~ and you have to endure the pain of nettles when collecting them. You think you can do it?" Yogen grinned, her ears twitching.

Yogen nodded, then pointed to a beehive swarming with bees. The yellow-black insects looked very aggresive indeed. "Think you could go steal their honey?" Yogen asked. It was a question, not a dare. "Those stingers sure look sharp." She wanted to see whether Bearpaw would go up and try, or find a better solution.

Yogen snorted in amusement, then walked over to the beehive and ripped it apart with ease. She seemed not to feel any pain, and the bees swarmed around her and Bearpaw. "A little help?" she asked, amused, holding up the beehive. She grinned at Bearpaw's nervousness to grab the hive. "You're immune to bee stings, you know."
