"Hey," Ebony said, walking up to Shepard. "I'm here to join the party. I'm Ebony." She said, holding her hand out for him to shake.

"I'm here, all right. Maybe you didn't look hard enough." She turned to Darkstorm. "A wanderer, eh? Aren't you a Clan cat?"

"Guess I need practice, then, huh?"

"I......" She gazed at him sorrowfully. "I can't let you die. I can't. But I'll stay. And if he comes here...."
She bit her bottom lip and smiled, a mischevious gleam in her eyes as she unsheathed two large, deadly-looking knives. "We'll be waiting." Jade put away the knives and cupped Dean's chin and kissed him again passionately. ".....I love you too much to let you go."

She glanced at him, concern brimming in her green gaze. "What do you mean?"

"Thanks. Do you do background checks around here?"

She kissed him again, more passionately, and wrapped her tail around him.

"If you say so," she said. Her lips found his.

She laughed. "Here we are, kissing and declaring our love for each other, and we don't even know how old the other one is." Jade smiled. "I'm sixteen."

"Woah! You're old!" She said, and swatted him playfully. "Does this mean we're technically boyfriend and girlfriend now?"

She grinned and kissed him back. Her expression suddenly darkened. "It's just.....I know nothing about relationships."

"Can you teach me?"

"About relationships. You did say you know lots, mmm?"

"You're hinting at something."

Her indignation melted as he kissed her. She broke away and smiled. They could die soon. Why was she so happy? "Earlier on you mentioned that you could prove you loved me if I stayed. How, sir, do you intend to do that?"

She grinned and kissed him gently. "You decide." She whispered. "Go ahead."

"Ok......kiss me less, then."

"No, you said you wanted to do what I didn't, so I said 'kiss me less' so you would kiss me more. That's called reverse psychology." Jade kissed him again.

Rilee hated it when the blush crept across her face again. "R-really?"

"I don't know what to say......" She meowed smiling shyly and raising a paw in front of her face.
