Kisa nodded. "Would I lie to you?"

"I thought so...." She murmured.

Sasha stared at Moose. "Really?"

Kisa cocked her head.

Kisa shook her pelt. "Sure!" She meowed.

"Of course I do! I-" She stopped and flicked her tail. "Excuse me." She called to the rest of the patrol. "Oh look! A mouse. Shadowwolf and I will get it, you guys go ahead."
As soon as they left, Lilacfire turned to Shadowwolf. "Listen. These past couple days with you have been the best I've ever had."

"I'm really not sure, but....." She paused. "I think I'm falling in love with you."

She grinned. "Not at all."

Sasha laughed. "That is a dance saved for special occasions."

"I dunno...." She muttered. "I'm just shocked at the fact that you like me. I don't know what to say...."

"Seriously? That's what you thought of me?" She paused. "I thought I wasn't good enough for you."

Lilacfire bit her bottom lip. "Truth is....." She looked back at Shadowwolf. "No one's ever loved me before. But I.........I love you, Shadowwolf. And I would love to spend the rest of my life beside you."

Sasha fell silent and rubbed the back of her neck.

Lilacfire purred loudly and licked Shadowwolf's muzzle.

"Nothing, I just....." She trailed off and kissed him.

"Neither have I." She kissed him.

Sasha kissed him fiercely and wrapped her arms around his neck.

Lilacfire licked him one more time, then straightened up. "The patrol will be coming back soon, and we can't let them see us.....like this."

Lilacfire flicked her tail and swiftly caught a sparrow.
