Nightcloud padded toward them and saw the little rouge. "what is it doing here", she quietly hissed to blackshadow. "w..whats this about getting lost in a storm?" she looked calmly at the young kit. "there hasnt been a storm around lately since the last moon", she mewed.

Nightcloud looked at him then the kit. "ill see if we have room in the nursery for one more but first we need to report to the leader." She looked to blackshadow," lead him to the leaders den and report him in, ill see if we have room in the nursery." She padded away to the nursery to check for room.

nightcloud came out of the nursery and came to blackshadow and the kit. "There is still room in the nursery and i rearranged it to the point where me and one of the queens have room", she said calmly." You may follow me little one. Were going to take care of you for a little while, then we have to see what our leader does with you, ok?"she said kindly."once we reached the nursery i want you, blackshadow to let the leader know about this little one." She turned to the kit her gaze was soothing," follow me ill gt you warmed up." she left them and lead him to the nursery with one of the queens and her kits.

The riverclan leader, leapardstar looked at him and then the kit. "follow nightcloud as i talk with blackshadow and whitefur.

leapardstar waited till the kit left so she could talk with her warriors.

nightcloud settled in the nursery and let the kit lay with her. "may i ask your name little one? im nightcloud by the way and i see that you are cold by the feeling." She looked at the little one calmly and saw the other kits playing with eachother outside in the clearing.

nightcloud was just watching when she saw a hawk in the sky. "Everyone there is a hawk hide the kits!!" she hissed to all of the warriors. One of the queens hurrded her kits toward the nursery and wrapped her tail around them.

She kept her tail around Rowen as she saw the hawk fly in a circle.

Leapardstar looked at blackshadow, her gaze was not all that nice. "Blackshadow the reason i let nightcloud take the kit to the nursery is so she can keep an eye on him. If he stumbles out of the nursery it is your job to make sure he stays with her. Do i make my self clear!" she hissed. She turned around. "leave and make sure you keep an eye on the kit."

One of the warriors swapped the hawk and it flew away. Everyone in the nursery came out and one of the kits said to rowen,"that hawk is never going to catch me. I'm the fastest in the nursery." His sister cuffed him in the ear and they went back to their mother.

Nightcloud was sitting in the nursery as she heard a bunch of cats yowling and hissing. The other kits with the queen were shaking with fear so she swepted her tail among them. Nightcloud waled outside and ran to what was going on.

She sighed and went back to grooming herself.

Nightcloud left rowen to go talk with her leader. A few seconds passed and she looked at the cats who were in the clearing. "Im going on a border patrol, would anyone one like to go with me? After the patrol were going hunting." At least 2 warriors left the warriors den and passed whitefur on their way out. One of them stopped in front of whitefur," hey sleepy head wanna join nightcloud's patrol?"

Nightcloud and her apprentice were practicing the battle moves and she noticed a vole in the bramble. Her apprentice stormpaw went and krepted on it. He then jumped and pounced on it. "nice job stormpaw," she said. Stormpaw smiled and they both trekked back to the camp. Nightcloud left him to go to the leaders den and told her leader about her apprentice. Then came back and she and stormpaw walked back out of the brambles and went hunting.

They both walked out together and nightcloud was still organizing. She had 2 apprentices, 3 warriors and herself for the hunting patrol. "remember stay away from eachother while hunting, you might scare their prey away...and its good to see you joining whitefur," she mewed kindly. Then the patrol all raced out one-by-one they left out of the brombles.

She stopped as she saw all of the rouges. She ran over their as her pelt shimmered in the sun light. "Stop now!" she hissed to the rouge. "Why are you in our territory," she said doging his attacks. She could tell that he was from no clan and that he was not a loner, but a rouge. She looked at him as her fur stayed flat, she was not going to fight if she had to.

Nightcloud came out of the warriors den and walked out into the clearing and then out of the brambles. She went further along the border and saw a vole near by. Quietly she krepted at it. The vole heard a noise and ran. She yowled and jumped at it before it could get into the cracks on the rocks. She killed it with one blow. This she-cat's pelt glimmered in the sunlight as she padded back to camp and pu the vole in the fresh kill pile.

Nightcloud walked out of the warriors den letting her brother rest as she had her tail and head down. She looked back and a tear ran down her eye. She sat out in front of one of the trees nearby and layed down there as she scuffled her paws under her head and warpped her tail on her nose. She started to cry.
