i sighed softly as reagan hung up. i had no time to put two words in. i looked up at my door, i decided by now i should be up. i got up slowly, and mooched into the kitchen. i was dressed in grey fat pants, and a christmas sweater. out of a lot of things, i loved christmas, food and reagan the most. i looked up to see the four boys talking softly to each other. i walked to them and took a seat next to liam. liam was the huge mother of the group. telling us to eat our food. do our shoe laces. even though liam was the second youngest, we basically always listened to him. out of all the boys. even out of young harry. i was treated with the most protection. my bet was because i was small. and irish. and just had my little innocent attitude. and i was always acting happy. and barely ever acted out.

the boys and i smiled to each other, we had a concert tonight. and could not wait. we had arrived early. way, way too early to rehearsal. we were simply ecstatic and couldn't wait to be on stage, doing what we loved. concerts were one of my favourite things about being in a rather famous boy band. that, and meeting all the amazing people i did. i probably wouldn't have been with reagan if one direction never happened. i would probably still be in mullingar, ireland. simply in university. i wasn't all that big on talking about myself, and my feelings. i was always a tad afraid of seeming vain if i did that. anywho, being vain was zayn's job. and we all knew it.

over one hundred years ago. humanity loved and cared for animals. never did they ever think this day would come. a disease struck the world. killing the weak, and mutating the strong. everyone took the disease as nothing, and discarded it. one hundred years later, the disease is still running strong. there are three groups. the survivors. the mutants. and the peace bringers... it's your chance to choose. which group shall you join?

the survivors.

the survivors are a group of about, twenty to thirty humans. the last of their kind. they are in a dispute with the mutants. they are the ' lucky ' ones who weren't weak enough to die. but, weren't strong enough to mutate. the survivors live in an abandoned warehouse. it's quite big. and has three stories to it. they have food, shelter and water. the warehouse is their safe haven. but, if they take one step out of the warehouse. the mutants are free to hunt them for their food. but, their current supply of food can only last for so long.

the mutants

by now, you're wondering what the disease is. and what the mutants are. no, they're not green big headed aliens. they are still human. the disease took over their body temporarily. for about two years they were uncontrollable. the disease gave humans abilities. each mutant has one of five powers.

- Healing Factor
ability to heal rapidly and with greater finality from any injury; the rate of recovery varies from character to character. can sometimes result in the slowing of aging and immunity to illnesses and other defects.
- Duplication
ability to bring past and future versions of oneself back to the present.
- Superhuman Mentality
ability to have intelligence quotient far above that of a genius level. this ability can be so evolved that it's user can gain psychic abilities (psychokinesis, telepathy, etc.) and resist both mind control and other psionic attacks.
- Animation
ability to bring inanimate objects to life or to free an individual from petrification
- Gravity manipulation
ability to manipulate or generate gravitons, or other types of gravitational interactions

and each were able to shape shift into one animal. and during the two years of being uncontrollable. they have learnt to control their shape shifting. and their powers. but they haven't been able to control their thirst for the true human's blood.

the peace bringers

the peace bringers are a bunch of mutants gone wrong. some of them only have the ability to shape shift into animals. some only have super powers. they are fully in control of their actions. and still have their humanity. they are the ones trying to bring the mutants to justice. and who help the survivors, discreetly of course. the peace bringers are not hunted by the mutants. for their blood isn't human. but they have their humanity.
