It produced the odd idea that perhaps he was being closely observed so as to be compared and matched up to certain criteria. Funny though that after all this time Alec had yet to detect any hint of hostility in this other cat, but he couldn't discern the exact emotions toward him either. Life enjoyed confusing him.


    Eyes blinking downward again, he kneaded the ground, anxiously waiting for something to happen. He almost didn't want to leave now. He may not really be able to comprehend half of this, but Alec was significantly calmer around Tobias than he'd been around anyone in a very long time. Maybe, if it was even possible, he wouldn't mind if there wasn't a barrier between them. Maybe.


    A cougar? he thought curiously as the other cat explained what he was. The name seemed vaguely familiar, as if once or twice as a cub he might have heard it. Still, he could only shake his head at the next question, for he himself -- quite luckily he'd say -- had never yet encountered a wild cougar. "I guess there probably are some...Just never seen 'em..." Alec murmured, glancing over his shoulder at the forest. Since even wildcats of his type preferred to stay up on the mountains, he figured that these cougars probably weren't found around here very often.


    "...Why'd you call it the Unknown?" he asked after a moment. What a strange term to use. The world might be big, but it was all pretty much the same. Surely there were lots of forests and mountains across the barrier, too, where Tobias lived?[/justify]

    It's based on many things, mostly how you interact with other people on the site -- Are you nice, helpful, eager to do things for the site, not apt to snap at people. That sort of thing :) Before I took a little break from the site I was a mod, and when I first became a BA I had rather few posts and hadn't been here for very long at all =]

  • Advanced Role Play

    To get into advanced roleplay you have to make an advanced bio [the form can be found stickyed in Create Your Cat]. One advanced bio allows all your other cats to be played in advanced.


    Basically, there's an advanced board within all of the main boards. When roleplaying intermediate/advanced I'd say the general requirement is to be able to use correct grammar and produce at least a solid paragraph for each post =]

  • Advanced Role Play

    Like I said, there are advanced boards in most of the main roleplaying boards. For example, go HERE to Thunderclan territory and scroll down to the last subboard. See how it says 'Thunderclan - Advanced Roleplay'? There are boards like that all around the site for different areas =]

    Hehe, it's alright, lots of people get confused about that ^^ Any roleplay thread will add to your postcount though, even those in Warriors Free and Other Roleplays :]

  • OK, another question.

    To some extent, yes. You are allowed to double time cats. So for instance, if you double timed a 1 moon old kit for a month, by the time a whole month had passed you could say they were 3 moons instead of 2 :) Does that make sense?


    Also, if your character is a pregnant queen, I believe they are allowed to give birth after two weeks.

  • More badges, and more events?

    It depends on the type of event. Some event badges [i.e. battle, fire, etc.] are ones that could be released on multiple occasions. I like the idea of that kind of event badge; not always available but possible to achieve in the future.


    A badge for length of time on the site would be hard to keep up with when there are so many members -- But maybe if it was only given to people who are particularly active? Not sure that would help with newbies though.


    Badges for welcoming and helping sound good though =] As long as people wouldn't go around answering questions they don't really know the answer to in an effort to get the badge =P
