    William
Having packed their bags, the two relatives set off to find a new home, glancing nervously side to side every few moments. That's how life was now. Fighting for your life, fearing for your loved ones, even pondering wether you should still bother to go on or not. Having someone to spend time with always helped with the whole apocalypse thing, but it didn't take the horror movie feel from life.
"Dear god!" Hannah gasped, covering her face with her hands.
"What?" Will asked, looking up from his shoes. "Oh my." His skin went pale as he watched hoards of infected gathering outside of a single building.
"You think someone's in there?" Hannah wondered aloud.
"Got to. There's no other reason they'd be freaking out like that." Will spoke quietly, his lip trembling slightly. They both reached for their weapons in fear, knowing that they couldn't just leave a person behind.
Hannah with her shot gun and William with his knife, the two slowly approached the creatures, holding their breaths until they were spotted. Running blindly and attacking everything around them, it was obvious they didn't have much training. Zombies grabbed at their clothes, to slow to do much damage while they were flailing about. Luckily, they found their way to the door, or what seemed like it used to be a door, now boarded up for protection. Hannah began to bang on the hard surface along with Will, both screaming for someone them in. The auburn-haired girl turned around, firing at the rotting creatures that were closing in on them.

    Matt
After a few moments of lying on the ground with his arms around his stomach, Matt wondered if he should follow them silently, but decided against it. This time was a punch, next time it could be a shot. At least I don't have to keep sending Grill away. He thought. Then again, it would've been nice to have some other humans to hang around.
A quiet sound caught Matt's attention, making him push himself up hesitantly, fingering for his glasses which had been knocked to the ground.
"Crap!" He coughed, catching sight of a single zombie limping towards him through his cracked glasses. The longhaired teen got to his feet quickly, making him feel dizzy and slightly woozy, but he knew when to keep going. Heading in the direction the people had left, Matt hoped that they wouldn't attack him once more. After all, he wasn't trying to follow them, he was merely trying to escape death.

    William
William grabbed Hannah's arm and tugged her in, stumbling into the bar and falling to the floor. The two lie on the cold ground for a few moments, their eyes wide and their faces showing their shock. Soon Will began to laugh quietly, shutting his eyes tight and shaking his head.
"I swear, you're slowly going insane, Will." Hannah joked, her voice wavering.

    Silverpaw
Blackpaw had caught up with Silverpaw and Twigwhisker, who eagerly followed Wavepaw to the pond, though instead of jumping into the water, the three sat down at its edge.
"That actually looks kinda fun," Blackpaw meowed, watching the two swim about.
"Looks cold to me!" Twigwhisker meowed, curling her golden tail around her paws tight, as if she were worried they would fall into the water themselves.
"It is cold. I don't understand how they can swim in that." Silverpaw purred. "Blackpaw, I wouldn't go in if I were you, you'll surely drown."
"I'm goin' in." Blackpaw decided, crouching low as if he were going to spring, his tail twitching and his eyes filled with determination.
"I can't watch!" Twigwhisker joked, though she kept her eyes on the apprentice.
Blackpaw leapt into the air, high as he could, as if he wanted to drench all the cats in the area with his splash. As the spotted tom hit the water, he quickly broke through the surface, gasping and spitting.
"You're right! Way to cold, way to cold!" He mewed loudly, trying to propel himself to the edge of the pond.
Twigwhisker and Silverpaw began to laugh, the tabby apprentice reaching a paw down to help his friend. Blackpaw hauled himself up as fast as he could, shaking his pelt so that droplets of water spread to all the cats. He quickly went to sit beside the two siblings, curling up and licking his pelt, shivering the entire time.
"You did a noble thing," Twigwhisker meowed in a completely serious tone, though that voice was lost as she and Silverpaw began to laugh once more.

    Matt
Shoot it! Matt mouthed repeatedly, running as fast as his legs would carry him. He would've yelled, but he was a smart child, he knew that if he did that, other zombies might hear. Then again, if they shot it, they would hear that as well. Maybe they'll shoot me. He thought, biting his lip hard as the zombie grew closer and closer to him.

    William
"William." Will spoke, pushing himself up into a sitting position. "Thank you, for letting us in."
"I'm Hannah." Hannah introduced herself, grasping her gun and putting it away. "What's your name?"
"Sorry that we caused you trouble. This is a nice bar, is it yours?" Will said, quickly regaining his personality which included being talkative.
"We're asking him way to many questions." Hannah gave a small laugh.

    Matt
Matt fell to his knees, shocked by the sound of the sniper, and relieved at the fact that he didn't have to run anymore. He lifted a hand a waved his thanks, his head still hanging down, making his long hair act like a curtain for him.

    William
"Pleasure to meet you Jackie." Will said with a smile, already getting to his feet. He held a hand out for the man to shake, acting like this kind of thing happened every day. He had his smile on, the one that tends to make people laugh. He wore it while talking to close friends and while trying to scare someone, but he also used it while trying to make an impression.

    Matt
"Oh jeez," Matt muttered, hearing the footsteps. Is it another zombie or just that guy here to punch me again? He looked up, grateful that it was niether of those things, but he was slightly suspicious and questioning of the figure heading down the street. He also had dropped his glasses again, so he didn't know any details about the person.

    Silverpaw
"Great StarClan, you make it sound so easy, it felt like moons before I was even able to get my legs under control." Silverpaw meowed, his smile still stuck to his face. It seemed like that had been happening an awful lot that day. He realized that this group of cats just felt right, and that somehow that were meant to hang out together.
"I wouldn't mind trying if you guys can teach me." Twigwhisker meowed with a look off interest, getting to her paws and approaching the two she-cats. "Besides, I want to prove to those two that we she-cats can learn a lot more in shorter time than them."
"Oh, you're on!" Blackpaw laughed shakily, getting up as well. "You have Minnowpaw teach you, Wavepaw will be my mentor. First one to learn to swim correctly gets first pick at the fresh-kill pile."

    Batears
"What happened to Snowkit?" Batears meowed with a grin, already padding towards the group of kits, his tail flicking in interest.
"Batears! Don't be rude, she might be in trouble." Pinesong scolded, shaking her head as the black tom continued anyways.
The dark warrior sat down, his eyes bright and curious as he tried to catch what was being said.

    Jumblecrest
"Um, okay, yeah. I mean, I don't know, I guess. I don't know any of your names and I have no clue where I am, but I'd like to help...And I don't want to hurt you guys..." Jumblecrest meowed, searching for the right words. He wasn't the best conversationalist, and definitely not good at answering questions for strangers.

    Batears
"Nice!" Batears meowed, but when Pinesong flicked his ears and gave him a look, he added: "I mean, sorry Snowkit, but, er, that was very bad?"
Pinesong shook her head, her whiskers twitching in amusement. "I swear, you're just a bad as a one moon old kit." She meowed quietly.
"You may proceed." Batears meowed with a grin, his eyes turning to watch once more.

    Silverpaw
Silverpaw wondered if he should join the cats in their friendly competition, but decided he was content with watching.
    Twigwhisker
"Hopefully! After all that I said about toms, I can't afford to lose!" Twigwhisker joked, letting her toes touch the bottom of the pond for the moment. After a few seconds, the tabby she-cat lifted them, attempting to push the water under them. She was not afraid considering she was tall enough to stand in the water, so that came to her advantage. "Like this?" She meowed hesitantly, figuring she must be doing it wrong.
    Blackpaw
"Except for that few second drowning a little bit ago, no." Blackpaw meowed, struggling to keep his chin above the water. "So I hope you're a good teacher, because you don't have much to work with."

    Batears
"At least someone appreciates your childish comments." Pinesong muttered, her eyes drifting away and her tail flicking as though she were embarrassed to be seen with the black tom.
"I'm loved woman!" Batears snapped jokingly, his tail flicking and his eyes narrowed in playful hatred.
"They're laughing at you not with you, I hope you realize that." Pinesong meowed.
"You guys are laughing with me, say it! You're laughing with me!" Batears meowed with a fake sad expression, though he was laughing on the inside.
