"That ring is the only thing I had on me when Ms. Greene found me in front of the orphanage. I don't want it anymore...and that number is how much money I have saved up now. We can afford a house," Akashi murmured, smiling slightly. "I've been working alot of over time. So my gift to you is a new home, free of charge. I don't want you paying for it at all."
They all went inside. Isa was shivering and Makoto was actually smiling, while Hitori was shivering even worse and sniffling. |

Akashi nodded and closed his eyes tightly, smiling lightly as he sat on the ground. Truth be told, Akashi had only celebrated Christmas once, and that was when Sakura was alive. She had died just before their second Christmas together and after that, Akashi would sulk off to her grave, refusing to participate in the festivities. So, this was technically his second Christmas, ever.
