To say that the female was ecstatic was a slight understatement, her rather quick invite was a success and now Morgan could come train with them! “Oh she’ll keep up alright, she’s been training harder than the rest of us!” Halo grinned and looked up toward Orion who merely offered her and the Omega a shrug and a smile. Another voice caught her attention as Genevieve entered their little group, she knew the Hunter rather well but was intrigued when she offered to come along. It seemed that everyone was itching to get in on this rather violent game of tag.

“I think she should be able to come don’t you Aposto?” Halo grinned toward her Leader, annoying him was something she enjoyed to do greatly but she had the satisfaction to say that he was quite a good friend of hers. An older brother so to speak.

The Sentinel let his eyes wonder of Apostles as the rather gruff male was quick to accept Halo’s offer, all be it with a slight warning. He enjoyed how down to earth the Lead Scout was, of course that kind of irritated attitude could be a nuisance but he didn’t let it bother him. It seemed that Apostolos had a lot on his plate at this current time.

Orion merely shrugged when Halo commented on the fact that one of the packs Omegas trained harder than them, she had a point and he felt no need to comment on it. His eyes wandered over to Genevieve as she entered the conversation and let a smile spread on his face, this game of tag was going to be fun especially since there were now so many wolves he could catch.

His eyes wandered over to the kitchen clock, it was almost time to go. “I think we should contact Bedda, tell her we are on our way to the training grounds? Some of the Stigmas might already be there.”

Halo nodded her head as Orion’s voice spoke up, he was right of course- her eyes darting to the clock. “SH*T! Two minutes guys! If we don’t hurry Bedda will be on our tails and I don’t want to be the first one she targets.” The Scout stood up abruptly, her stool screeching on the floor boards before she hastily tucked it in under the bench top. Her smile was warm and excited, it was one that could make others instantly feel welcome. “I don’t care who comes at this point, it’ll be us versus the Guardians and Sentinels and I’m keen to get a head start.”

The curly haired female let her eyes wander over the remaining pack mates in the kitchen area, her eyes landing on Logan and Dimitri who seemingly had just woken up. She motioned for Orion to fetch him as the Sigmas were meant to be training today as well but she knew the Sentinel may want to do more than just greet Logan, “I'm so excited for you to come with us!!” Halo shook Morgan’s shoulder, not violently but rough enough to express her need to get going. The female strode to the fridge, placed her ice tea away before making her way to the front door. “LET’S GO!” The words were thrown over her shoulder, her frame already reaching the door and pulling it open. In an instant she morphed, her clothes and human form disappearing under thick fur. Her wolf form now standing where she once stood, she looked back for a moment before racing toward the training grounds.

Orion crossed his arms as Halo acknowledged his words, his eyes still on the clock. She was right- they had 2 minutes to get to the training grounds or else they’d be in real trouble. The Sentinel breathed deeply, let his mind clear before opening up a private connection between him and Bedda. ‘We are on our way, we have more players in tow now as well-’ As he spoke to the Lead Guardian he noticed Halo gesturing toward the young male sitting on the couch by the table, engrossed in his sketching. A taller figure drew his attention, one with wavy brunette hair and an aura about him that made Orion's heart suddenly race. How could he not have noticed the Delta Male until now? ‘-HRK! we'llbethereshortlyjustonemomentplease.’ When he finished speaking to Bedda, all be it rather hastily toward the end; he moved himself toward the couch area and let his hands ruffle Logans hair, “Mornin' Monet.” He greeted the Sigma before letting his eyes gaze toward the sleepy figure next to him, reaching Dimitri in an instant. "And good morning to you too Dee." A smile stretched across the taller males features.

Although Orion was well known to be the strong and silent type, when he did take the time to speak and have a little fun he was actually quite the entertainer. He could often be seen hanging around the Sigmas, teaching them everything he had learned from his former pack. He was even known as the packs ‘Oreo Youth Leader’ because he somehow always got them out of trouble, especially if Alexander was about to bite their heads off.

“You both seem quite immersed in another world..." Orion noticed how tired the Male Delta looked but decided it was best not to bring up perhaps a personal matter right now, he turned his attention to Logan. "I was going to suggest you come to training but I think staying here would be much more fun...” He smiled warmly towards the younger male, glimpsing slightly toward Dimitri as Halo let out a shout from the front of the house, he wasn’t about to be late. "I should get going, perhaps I'll see the both of you later today?" Orion let his muscles relax as he morphed into his wolf form, his large fur springing up slightly making him look like he had been hit by lighting but this was the norm for him (he looked like an absolute fluff ball) and his light eyes gazed toward the two before he nodded and turned to follow Halo out of the pack house.

Now why did he feel so flustered?

The run toward the training ground only took a few moments, Halo didn’t waste anytime but did take a moment to look behind her were Morgan was following close behind. For a second she thought about slowing down so that she didn’t tire her friend out but the determination she saw flaring up in the Omegas eyes made her think otherwise. Maybe Morgan didn’t like it when people treated her like she could break? Halo had never really thought about that until now.

The wolf slowed as she reached the open area of the forest, a meadow of sorts if you wanted to get technical. Everyone had already started to gather and the sound of their Alphas voice rung in her mind, Halo shook her head. Relaxing all the muscles in her body and stretching them out for the intensive training session that was about to take place. Her head turned toward Morgan and she opened a private connection between the two, “Hope you’re ready for some real fun- watch out for Orion though he get’s way too into it.”

He had had a point when he told her she was lucky Erik showed up when he did, Orion seemed to have been having way too much fun in their last tag training session. Halo had sustained a good couple of bruises and scratches thanks to him, all of course which he apologised for but she knew that if any rogue or rival pack tried to get within a centimetre of the packs ground let alone the pack themselves- Orion would ripped them to messy pieces of meat.

Orion could see Morgan and Halo running ahead of him, a rather competitive nerve in his body was aching to surpass them and reach the meadow before them but he suppressed the urge to show off as he heard Alexanders voice clear in his head. He had already noted the warning Bedda gave him- he only had a minute lift so he was quite quick to reach the open ground just in time.

His paws dug into the ground softly as he stopped himself beside Erik, dipping his head in greeting to Bedda. “Apologies if I am but a second over time, there was a rather interesting development in the kitchen.” He gestured with his muzzle toward Morgan and Halo whom by now looked like they were deep in their own conversation. “Apostolos agreed that Morgan could train with us, I hope that isn’t an issue.” Orion let his gaze fall back onto the Lead Guardian, she seemed tense and rightfully so as the morning had already been filled with tension. Perhaps this training session would aid in some relief between her and the Guardians?

Orion turned to see Styx and Robin, the two surrounded in an icy and irritated aura making him scrunch his brow muscles worriedly. Sara was with them alongside Iris who out all of them seemed to be the most pleased to be here, all of this hate couldn’t be good for the pack. “Come on now Sara, I hope you don’t lose out to a Sigma. At least Iris looks more eager to do some training~” Orion had overheard her little comment about minimal distractions and getting to training quickly. He enjoyed teasing the Guardians, as their male counter part it was common to see them working together or even hanging out. He was often subject to participate in Guardian Sleepovers where his nails were painted and his face plastered with an ultra moisturising face mask. Orion of course enjoyed every single moment of it.

The female paused for a moment in thought, she looked around the large gathering of wolves before nodding softly. “I’d say most of the Guardians as well, they are quite the challenge to-“ A voice interrupted her private link to the Omega. It was Beddas voice now instructing everyone that was present and ready for the training session, Halo listened intently wondering if the game of tag will be like the last one.

'Todays session will be search and destroy.’

The Scout huffed softly, it seemed that todays event would be much more brutal than the others. Search and Destroy was a classic but every participant knew the injuries that came with it, it wasn’t a ‘I’ve got you!’ kind of game. No. You battled until you could feel your breathing go jagged and at least a few new wounds on your pelt. Search and Destroy was a full blown attack and defend simulation.

‘Sentinels and Guardians, you will be responsible for the protection of the Sigmas… as well as our Omega Morgan…’

Halo turned to face Morgan, her eyes meeting hers with a touch of sympathy. She didn’t want Morgan to be subject to such… Scrutiny… But she was the Omega and nothing could be done about it. Her gaze turned competitive and slightly snarky, as Bedda finished her speech, Halo turned her full body to Morgan and dipped her head. “It seems you’ll have to watch out for me now Morgan.”

interacting w/ Gir and Piggy (bedda) and the rest of the pack!

Orion’s thoughts were interrupted by Bedda, his fur had by now smoothed out and he felt at ease with the breeze that was softly blowing through the trees. Today was a perfect day for Search and Destroy, the sky was clear with little to no clouds drifting past and the air was warm with a cool breeze.

‘Sentinels and Guardians, you will be responsible for the protection of the Sigmas that are with you, as well as our Omega Morgan…’

The stocky wolf looked toward Morgan and Halo again, he did feel bad for the outcome of the placements- He knew Morgan wanted to be running alongside Halo and the other attackers for todays session. Now she would need to be protected instead. Orion let his gaze wander and he came upon Logan who had by now just reached the clearing, he would make sure the rather introverted Sigma would have his fun today. The male turned back to Bedda as she finished and spoke up to the rest of the pack just to make instructions a little clearer.

“In Conclusion, the attackers for today’s session include the Deltas, Hunters, Scouts and the Alphas and Betas if they so wish to. The defenders are The Sentinels and The Guardians. Attackers your job is to get to the Sigmas and the Omega as well as infiltrate the pack house. We will do anything and everything to stop you. I hope you all put up a good fight.”

The clarification as mostly for him, so that he knew whom to attack and whom to defend but he hoped that it made the whole training session easier to follow.

As someone who enjoyed listening to others, Finnigan let his ears wander as everyone spoke around him. He was in an utter state of confusion but it only took him a few moments to focus on the current situation at hand. Starkie only worried him, why would she bother smoking now? When she and everybody else needed all their brain cells in top condition? A sigh softly escaped his throat as she declared her dog would need to go first and then subsequently everyone else.

The red headed girl flashed through his mind, this would have been so much easier if they could have just passed through the hospital and out the other side.

How selfish…

Finnigan looked up as the sound of skin hitting skin echoed on the wind, Henry had just slapped Jonathan’s palm from her shoulder and for a second he thought she would take the chance to stab him or clubber him with her bat. But such a situation never arose. “I agree with Hen, I don’t like being out in the open too long especially with the horde still below us and that… woman…” Fin crossed his arms and stared back at her before glancing to Jonathan.

God he just wanted to get out of here.

Lei let himself relax a bit more as Shin seemed to carry a rather long conversation with Killian, his eagerness spooked the young adult but only slightly. His energy was helping the air become less tense by the second.

“You know, I think you would make a good scavenger!”

Scavenger…

Now what in the world did that mean? Was it a compliment? A threat?

The South Korean just stared back at the other male with slight curiosity in his eyes, now he really wanted to have this questioning session- it would be a time where he could ask the leader about some things! As Killian spoke back up, Lei found himself naturally turning to pay attention. The older man really had an aura about him that made you want to listen to him.

“I only have a few questions anyway, it won’t take long.”

Lei smiled softly, that was good at least. He wouldn’t have to wait for the decision to be made. The young adult turned back to Teodóra as she quickly implied for Shin to go with her and the young man couldn’t help but snicker a little bit- why did he already feel at home with these strangers?

His eyes gazed back toward the fire tower where he would soon be seated and interviewed, the vision of the brunette he had seen a few moments ago lingered in his mind. He would be sure to enquire about the other members of this group- his curiosity was too great.

If a wolf could grin, Halo would surely be smiling from ear to ear toward Morgan. She didn’t expect her friend to be so much more determined than she already is and excited the scout tremendously, “We are about to have a lot of fun~!” Her tail wagged slightly as she shook out her fur and flicked her ears toward Orion whom had summed up the rules and terms of the training session.

Suddenly it seemed that yet again the Guardians were fighting with Bedda, the tension in the air was thick. It made Halos fur stand slightly on end- she didn’t really enjoy when the pack fought amongst themselves and she swore that one day somebody was going to get really injured because of it.

The sound of Alexander’s voice cut through everybody elses, Halo immediately turned to look at him. Her ears alert and tail still but pointed. Alphas had that kind of affect on others.

Halo kept her mouth shut as she dipped her head toward Morgan, she then moved toward her Alpha and Bedda to await further instruction as the Guardians and Sentinels.

“Where do you want us?” Halo quickly interjected before Bedda could leave, she wasn’t really sure were she and the other scouts were meant to be now as Orion and the others moved off.

Orion merely rolled his eyes and playfully let his side bump into Erik’s, “Ah they should calm down soon- I think they are just itching to get a good fight in to ease their tension.” The wolf looked back toward Logan as Erik too turned his head toward him, the Sigma was a troublesome one but he was sure that with enough training and time with the pack he would loosen up.

Before Orion could even ask Bedda when they were to begin, Erik was looming over Logan- His teeth bared and obviously he wasn’t happy. The stocky wolf was quick to come to the tweens aid though as an instinctual habit to protect his pack mates arose in him. “Hey hey calm down- Logan just want’s to be able to prove himself-“ He paused as Eva brushed against Erik and telling Logan off as well, Orion felt his claws dig into the ground. It wasn’t fair to treat him like a pup when he clearly wasn’t one anymore. He was growing and learning and treating him like he was defenceless (even if it may be true) wasn’t going to help him. “That’s enough now. Logan has much to learn but this isn’t how he is going to learn it.”

The tension in the air had grown and it only made Orion more restless, he couldn’t focus- he felt like his head was getting jumbled when Alex linked and spoke to them all. It instantly calmed him. Sometimes he was envious at the power his Alpha possessed but that was of course what made him the Alpha and not just any old pack member.

“Do as I said, protect the Sigmas and our omega. So much as a scratch on the, you will regret it. Get out of my sights…”

Orion could feel Erik growling beside him, the male looked toward him as the other Sentinel began to walk away. He waited for a moment as Logan padded a little bit ahead before he decided to follow, he was walking beside Erik now but linked privately with the Sigma.

“I’m expecting big things from you- If anyone attacks us I’ll do my job but who knows, I might just let one of the attackers have a taste of what you’ve got to offer."

Finnigan didn’t have time to even get his head around things when suddenly they were back at camp and the process of getting everyone and everything evacuated. He couldn’t even remember how he had gotten to the fire tower by the time Jonathan was yelling for everybody to leave, the horde was fast approaching which in a way was ironic given that the undead were meant to be slow walkers. The teenager rushed toward the armoury and began to collect his items, loading his knives into his backpack and gripping onto more ammunition that could save lives for once.

Hazel green eyes flickered to the door, the sound of people hustling to get everything together consumed him and he knew it was now time to go. He packed the last items before heading out into the clearing. The hordes moans and groans echoed through the trees- it was after noon now and they had better get going. They needed to find a new place- set up camp again before it got dark. Finnigan darted toward Phoebe and Nanaka as soon as his gaze was on them, “Come on we don’t have time to spare you two.” His voice was deep and reassuring but had an obvious anxious tone to it. He was scared and rightfully so.

The interview session had been going quite well, Killian had asked him all sorts of basics questions so far and Lei felt confident that he was going to be allowed to stay with this group of survivors if Killian allowed it. The young adults eyes flickered toward the brunettes, he too was in the firepower alongside others and would have heard Lei’s answers.

There was something entrancing about the other young male but Lei didn’t comment on it, mainly because that would’ve been weird especially at such a time.

“I’m quite skilled with a knife, I wouldn’t say I’m the best but i can throw them and handle them well and I can distinguish animals calls and edible flora…” Lei answered the question sincerely, he didn’t want to sound like a show off but he’d prove that to them if he was allowed to stay.

Suddenly a loud yell from downstairs caught his attention- “There’s a horde coming! We need to get out of here fast! They’re on their way!” Lei looked toward Killian with scrunched eyebrows, his eyes now shimmering with worry. What did the other guy mean by that? A horde? Like as in a group of walkers? Lei didn’t like the sound of that and he rapidly stood up, gripping his backpack that was slung over his shoulders. His clothes ha day now dried nicely from standing in the sun and his heart was beating against his ribcage like a bird fluttering to get out. He would’ve sprinted no doubt- he would’ve high tailed his ass out of the tower if it weren’t for the fact that he trusted these people. He didn’t know if they’d waste their time to save him from a walker but- well Jacob and Arcadia did. So why wouldn’t he do the same?

“Killian what do I- Where do I-“ Lei was at a loss for words, he didn’t have a place in this group so how was he going to help them and himself get out of the hordes way?

Styxx Anaxkolasi we've basically just started the training session, the groups have divided themselves and wandered into the forest and now it is time for the attackers to begin hunting down the defenders so that the training can be underway, at some point as well i'm pretty sure the rival pack will make an appearance.

The Scout’s ears twitched slightly as Alexander acknowledged her and Royce whom she greeted with a dip of her head, she hadn’t seen the other scout that morning and guessed that she had slept in or something. Halo enjoyed training sessions and she thought everybody knew that quite well, these sessions were almost like games to her- of course she knew that they prepared her for scenarios that could be present in the future but she just enjoyed to play around a bit too much.

As Alexander took the time to invite Lorelei, Halo took the time to quickly enquire quite cheekily if Royce had slept in- “You know, if you sleep in next time you might get put in with the Sigmas~” Her tone was light and airy with a hint of sarcasm and playfulness in it, she wasn’t trying to be mean at all and on the contrary was just trying to make sure Royce would be in a good mood for the training session.

Alexanders wolf form quickly disappeared into the trees and Halo only took a moment to lightly bump Royce’s side as she too bolted into the trees to follow their Alpha. She was happy to see him having fun, he deserved to relax a little as well and just enjoy the moment. Halo’s excitement coursed through her body and as she ran she threw her head back and let out a loud and guttural howl.

Orion let his ears perk as he listened for nay sounds that might alert him to the attackers, he wasn’t going to try and lose to any Scouts today- Especially not Halo since he knew she might be out to get him after the last Search and Destroy session. He kept a keen eye on Logan whom he initially thought would ignore his comment but surprisingly informed him about how he felt.

It wasn’t hard to see that the sixteen year old was just trying to do his job for the pack, he was young an eager to show every other member that he was able to not only protect himself but the rest of the pack as well. It made Orion feel a glimmer of pride in his chest, in his own pack- before he was transferred- young wolves who were still in training were treated like the next generation of A class fighters or defenders. Training was more brutal than this packs, he could of course only talk from experience- but his mother pack valued the opinion of the younger wolves greatly. If they wanted to go hunting on their own it was common to encourage them. He would be sure to try this method on the Sigmas later on…

“Oh I know you can handle your own, you’ve shown me on numerous occasions that you know hot to attack and defend yourself. Now the question is- can you defend your pack and the members that do need protection?”

Orion padded so that he was next to the younger male now and looked down at his smaller form with curiosity, “If there were real outsiders in our territory and neither I nor the other Guardians and Sentinels could protect those who needed it- Would you be able to?”
