Arhur watched with sad brown eyes after he hung the phne up. Putting it into his pocket and taking a seat beside Sage. The baby had fussed a bit before coming to terms with sleep and falling back into its abyss. Arthur hummed softly to keep the baby well relaxed. Looking at his father with worried eyes. "Sage. You've saved your son's life. It may not seem to be your smartest decision now, but you wait. When you see this baby boy again you're going to bebeyond thrilled that you did this. That you saved your baby..." Arthur whispered and gave a sad smile. "The lies... I wish I didn't have to put you through any of this Sage. Both of you deserve the world. You've earned that much..." The man whispered and leaned back. "I'll be in the other room. Preparing a few things for the child. Arthur smiled and stod carefully, padding into another room a few yards away.
Arthur found himself holding the sleeping baby on his right side as he fished a bright opal from a drawer. Setting the baby in his swaddled blankets onto the wide desk with the hghest care, and taking a few pieces of metals, and even some odd magics. By the time he had finished, the two had arived, the door bell ringing softly, though only into the lab.
Arthur took the little object quietly. Holding it in soft hands. A sort of rattle. A keepsake. This baby would cherrish this for yeas to come. He [icked the baby bak up and moved to leave the room. Patting Sage on the shoulder on his way out. Then up the steps into the main home to greet the angelic fallen.
When Arthur opened the door, he was met with two men. One was much shorter then the other. Arthur greeted them with sad smiles. The shortest of the two gave a sad frown. "Oh Arthur..." The man looked at Arthr and held his arms out for the baby. Nodding as Arthur muttered a soft "Be Careful" and let him hold the infant. "His name is Terence I believe. He's.... He's a miracle to have been alive to begin with but He wouldn't live without help..." Elliot nodded. "Of course Arthur. Where is his father?"
Arthur shook his head. "They're both territorial. It was hard for him to make this decision. He didn't want to put you two in any danger." The two nodded. The one who had seemed joyous over the phone looked at the man with worry. "You're asking us to take a territorial cannibal mix? Arthur this is dangerous..." The man mumbled but took the baby into his arms softly.
"I know Derrek. But you have to understand that you two are the only people who can help him. You're his only chance. Please.' The two nodded to silence him and Elliot glanced back at the man once again.
"You can count on us Arthur. What do you want us to do about the parental iews?" Arthur smiled. "Tell him everything you can. When he's old enough. Only then. But Tell him he had parents who cared. Please. They love him. They fought so very hardfor this baby's life. I don't want him to every think differently."
"f course Arthur. Is that all then?" Arthur nodded and he two bid farewell. hiding the baby from the cold and moving back towards their car. Arthur found himself stiffen. Watching th child leave. It was like losing Nathaira all over again... He knew he knew she would. She'd be lost to everyone. He sat back into the sofa chair after shutting the door, face in his hands. He hadn't cried in years. Didn't think he could. But this was definately the ice breaker. He knew those two men like family yet seeing off his only grandson was killing him. Killing him beause he was absolutely useless. He couldn't do anything and he fucking hated himself for it.
Arthur found himself coughing out a soft cry. Running a hand through his hair. "Dammit.... DAMMIT. I'm such... I'm fucking pathetic..." The man snarled to himself. Jumping at the collie dog who shoved its head under his arms, nudging at him in worry.

It wasn't much more then an hour and a half later that she awoke. Pain ripping through her body, though not nearly anything she would have felt without Arthur's Aid. Fear coursed tthrough her and she felt herself jolt up into a sit. Crying out desperately. The woman felt around her stomach. Memories returning before she felt herself sob out a scream. Her baby. Her baby wasn't here. No. No. God no. Sage... "Sage!" She coughed out another desperate pleading Sob and searched for him. The feeling of need. "Sage where is he? Please." She was panting, weezing in her fear and pain.

Eliza felt herself jerk up. The scream alerting every alarm system she had. Her back popped in a few places but she only winced. Feeling around to be sure Sam was with her. Worry creasing her face until she found him. Pulling her lip through her teeth. The home reeked of fear and loss. The smell of a newborn child, stale. Replaced with endless guilt and sorrow. She felt tears in her eyes. Shaking her head to clear it. Kelpies were rather vulnerable to emotions. Depression often effected them the worst. Soaking it in like a sponge to water. Empathy. The sadness that absolutely drowned them, soon took her with it. She felt her stomach ache with the [ain of the household. Eyes burning with the tears most of them had shed. She closed her eyes and held back a sob. Shaking her head again.
With a soft whine she rolled back over and searched her mate out once more. Burrowing into him. Head placed between his shoulder and neck. Desperate pants leaving her lip as she used this as a way of comfort to calm her down. She needed to sleep. Needed to relax. She was doing what she could, slowly falling into the abyss of sleep as well. Heart pounding wildly. Tears dryin in tracks down her face.
