    You breathe oxygen? We have so much in common

    On any other day, Vashti would be bragging about how much she loves her job and how amazing it is, except for today. For the past half hour, she has been interviewing a man to see if he is eligible for their services, but it's very clear that he isn't. At this point, she isn't bothering to write down anything he is saying, except for a few key words that prove why she is refusing to set him up. The list currently ranges from hitting on her to slightly racist comments comparing her to different actresses. She gives him a pitiful smile as soon as the clock reaches 12:45. Time for the bad news. "Mr. Smith," Typical jerk white guy name. "I would like to thank you for your time, but I am going to have to reject your application because from what I have seen in this interview, you don't have the type of character we are looking for." She informs him in an attempt to let him down gently, but not really caring at the same time. Thankfully, the man just thanks her for her time and leaves to wallow in his insecurities.


    The second he leaves, Vashti unlocks her desk drawer and grabs a pain pill for her crippling headache. Seeing as she has no more interviews today, she quickly grabs her purse and leaves her office. Her apartment is only around a block away, so she gets there fairly quickly, but apparently not quickly enough. The pain in her head has gone from being uncomfortable to unbearable in a matter of moments. As soon as she opens her door, she sets an alarm for 30 minutes, kicks off her heels, and plops herself onto her bed.

    Vashti lets out a slight groan as she wakes up and her hand immediately goes to her back in an attempt to figure out why it needs to be cracked. She specifically saved up money to get her memory foam mattress so she doesn't have these issues and she'll be damned if she wasted that money. From what she can tell, she is on the ground? That would explain things. Except, shouldn't she be in her apartment? Her eyes fly open and she pushes herself backwards at the sight before her, but her hand gets trapped in the flowing pink dress that she is now wearing. "What the hell?" She mumbles to herself, touching the dress once again to be certain it's real. Looking around, it's fairly obvious that no one in the cave is the reason they are there. Everyone looks confused, scared, or angry. Vashti stands up by pushing herself against the wall and wraps her arms around her stomach. Dammit, she's shaking. As she assesses the room, she notices a woman still asleep on the floor. She quickly makes her way over to the woman, leans down and shakes her lightly. "Hey, wake up. You need to wake up" She almost pleads, hoping that the woman is alive. Of course, she could just check to see if she is breathing, but that would require getting very close to her and at this point, she isn't feeling safe enough to put her face right next to the woman.


    OOC: Sorry that I am posting so late, I was sick and then had to get caught up. I'm still not feeling the best, so this post isn't my best work.

    Evianna is open for pretty much any plots, specifically romantic ones or friendships. She isn't exactly an open book though.


    Also, my basement is flooding and it's raining pretty badly here, so the power might go out. My replies might be a bit late for now, especially because we may have to stay somewhere else.

    tubig . I love that idea! I feel like he may have to explain some things to her, since she is purposefully very naive about what her father is doing. Maybe he could help her to really understand what's going on with her people.


    kdiggy I think Rory and Evianna could possibly have some sort of romance? I feel like it could possibly complicate things with the main plot and their personalities are similar enough that they could work well together. It's just an idea though.

    IC;"Your grace, are you awake?" A timid voice cuts Evianna out of her trance-like state, as if she forgot her duties. Every morning, she has been awake painting the sunrise and finally, her painting was finished. It is not great, seeing as she hasn't had this hobby for long, but it calms her. She can just observe the world from her window and occasionally, she imagines she is down there, with the people. Of course, she wouldn't dare to tell anyone that, so she just responds with "Yes, come in. I need your assistance." Her servant quickly enters with a gown in hand and assists the princess into it.


    "I wish to go to the gardens, could you inform the guard?" Evianna has nothing planned today, so she hopes to start a new painting or perhaps make a flower crown, seeing as she would never have the queen's crown. The servant nods, than runs out as if the princess would have her killed for taking too long. She could, of course, but she wouldn't. Quickly, she packs a basket with her supplies and a few extra things, pastries and the like. She pads down the hallways until she reaches the garden- her favorite place in the castle. Guards are constantly stationed in and around it, since it's known she tends to spend most of her free time here. She settles on a marble bench and sets up her supplies. (This is what I'm imagining she is painting)

    Aviva is my little depressed bean who is open for any plot ideas. She is incredibly intelligent, but hates most things school related. She could possibly do some tutoring or something, since she will pretty much do anything for money. I'd love for her to have some friendships or a love interest that shows her other people can care about her and she is loved. Also, when I made her I was imaging a situation where one of her friends sees her paintings for the first time and gets genuinely concerned for her, because her art can get pretty dark.


    (Sorry if something doesn't make sense, I'm on mobile)

    I'd be interested in possibly making a group rp thread with you! I don't have any plot ideas currently, but I'll put what I am interested below, along with some thread examples that I've done, if you have any ideas based off of those or want to recreate one with a better plot.

    Gold! Thank you! I feel like she's going to be the sarcastic sister of the group. Also, I'm sorry I forgot. I was watching the Stranger Things finale while finishing, so I was a bit out of it. I tend to like sort of sad songs, so right now I like Someone You Loved by Lewis Capaldi.


    Illuna Thank you! I'll be sure to let everyone know if I have questions. Ana is going to be generally confused about everything, so I'll probably ask a lot of questions through her.

    Ana is open for any plotting, since I suck at coming up with plot ideas.

    I definitely want her to have a best friend who will go back and forth with her. She just really needs a healthy friendship. She's probably going to be more wary of girls because of the stuff with her sister and mom, but someone could get her to open up more.

    Gold! Maybe Ingram could help Ana get used to the camp or show her around, since he's kind of the mom. She's a bit clueless about all of this and if someone doesn't help her, She will confidently walk the wrong way forever, just so no one notices she was wrong

    Sanctuaryforall1 My charrie, Ana is also one of Hephaestus's children, but she'll probably dislike Maxie at first, if that is alright. She is very committed to her family outside of camp, so she would probably see bonding with her new half-sister as betraying them.

    Speaking of Ana, ~Lynn~ Carwen has a decent amount of knowledge of Greek Mythology even before coming to camp, and I imagine she'd get annoyed at Ana being so sarcastic and deadpan and not knowing her own father's name. If that interests you, I always like roleplaying things like that! <3


    Distortion~ I felt like I had to quote you because it has been three pages since you said that. That could be a really interesting dynamic! Ana will probably just make sarcastic remarks back, and possibly even enjoy the back and forth.


    ALSO @everyone I am currently in a musical so if I don't post, it's because I am working on that seven hours a day. Next week are the shows, so I'm not sure how much time I'll have to post. My posts may be short or non-existent.
