Because there's always something to be happy about! The brown tabby didn't quite know why she was upset, exactly, but he had an inkling it had something to do with Javert, whose death seemed to be affecting a lot of members of WindClan. "Do you know what helps me? I do! So, if you're missing someone, turn to someone who you barely know and pretend it's Jav- I mean- them. Just say everything you wanted to say to them before they died!" Perpetualpaw was quite the psychotics expert, but it was only because he disliked negative energy. Although he was a bit too forgetful and clumsy to be anything more than a cheerer-upper. He made up that word, just like the hundreds of others. He needed to write a song or something about them.

i guess the names like pianotune and such are a bit out there, but they're fashionable and i honestly think they sound prettier and more unique. and i'm not saying a classic name can't be unique, but it's a lot harder to come up with an original name using the basics. all of my cats have names that i like to think are on the middle- because they don't use references to things beyond s cat's knowledge, bit interesting vocabulary words, such as perpetualmotion, afterthought, clarityvoid, trinitypromenade, acquiesce, echolalia, whitelies, etc. they're definitely a stretch, but if you think about it, any cat with sone good vocabulary words would know these words.
but we all have our own opinions. i feel like this site had been able to come up with plots even more in depth than erin hunter's and it's quite rude to say that you would stop reading the books if she decided to input a bit of our genius into her own writing. debate politely, please! :3[/fancypost]

After Ressy's tragic death, they needed to fill in the role. The Nurse had been the most reluctant about picking, only because to her, both choices appealed greatly. Miles or Chai? They were almost identical in potential and enthusiasm, and she knew that if Apocalyptia was to choose just one, it would be difficult. Clarity fit in a silent prayer for proper guidance to the gods, before continuing her stroll to the duchess.

Perpetualpaw was shocked as he watched Bunnytail. He had thought Cinderpelt was a pretty great mate, and although he had taken part in the gossip he didn't really believe it. His attempt as a ray of sunshine turned into a feeble last spark. He had never failed in cheering someone up- ever. Perpetual just didn't understand it. Being in a position of authority not only seemed to stack a heaping pile of pressure on your shoulders, but it comes with drama too- lots of it. If Perpetualpaw ever became an hp, he swore not to ever stop being the happy one. The phosphorescent one. Nothing spectacular was happening to him, except for maybe hid crush on Mollypaw. But he was sure they'd live happily ever after one day, so he had nothing to worry about.
Bunnytail and Cinderpelt, however, did.
Perpetual would normally have hung around, but it was clear he could be of no help, and it would end up in tragedy. So the brown tabby tried his best to maintain a snail ad he wandered away, wanting very much to cry.

[fancypost bgcolor=transparent; bordercolor= #00FF00; borderwidth=0px; width: 500px; overflow: auto; height: 75px; text-align: center; font: 12px cambria;]i do agree with lychee. the traditional names can be great, but to me they're just a bit blander. i live me my vocabulary words, and i do like to use the more colorful names. also, sticking to the traditionals leaves with only a certain number of words. i really like te freedom of infinite possibilities to what you can use. and plus, the classic appearance-describing prefix and persona-describing suffix can still be used- such as my cat whitelies. it's not a classic name, no, but if you think about it, he's a cream tabby that tells fibs a lot. i think the most important think is that it describes your character in a nutshell- traditional or not.
biasing characters based on their name is stupid, though. miclimp is perfect example. c: cinderpelt is a developed and fabricated character, not to mention the deputy of windclan, and his name is ad traditional as names can get. and then there's benedictcumberpath or the other name that will probably take me ten minutes to plunk out as i'm on a crappy mobile. it's true that most older members, {myself included}, tend to stick to the new naming style, and newer members might favor the classic, but that's just a general term. as long as the character is well developed, i don't care. c:[/fancypost]

Perpetualpaw wasn't particularly fond of the topic, but his friends were here so he decided to dive in. Besides, everyone seemed pretty good natured about it, although the sight of Moriarty caused Jim to cringe. The tom terrified Perpetual.
Benjamin, the apprentice observed upon entering, reminded him much of himself in a darker sort of way, because as Perpetualpaw spoke in that manner, an accusal for murder had never passed his lips. He just hoped he wasn't accused, because being interrogated was not something he could stand for long without admitting to the crime, even though it was obvious he didn't have the capacity to commit it.
"Are you sure a WindClanner did it? Most of us haven't expressed a single murderous thought in their life," Perpetual's gaze found Moriarty as he said this. They both née very well that the black figure was one of the few that did not fall in that category.
