The small yet muscular black tom stared at the bristling cats from a distance. He dug his huge claws into the ground and watched.

Scourge yawned and sniffed, clawing at the ground. He stretched out and ate the rabbit Bone had brought it.
-
Scourge whipped around, then nodded. "Yes, and you are?"
-
Scourge padded out of his den, his icy blue eyes fixed on the kit, almost as if he had expected him to fight back.
-
Hawklily padded in, her green eyes flashing around the clearing nervously. Get in, listen to the message, get out. She repeated to herself over an over. She sat apart from the other cats, tail wrapped around her paws.
-
Hawklilly glanced up at the raptor, wincing, yet she wasn't afraid of it. She stood up and padded farther away from the clearing, accidently bumping into a cat. "Oh, um, sorry." She mewed. (Anyone can be that cat)
-
Hawklilly shivered, the air becoming cold. Her green eyes glittered in the darkness, and her beautiful golden and brown pelt shined in the moonlight. She curled up and stared at the HighRock, waiting for the leaders to speak.
-
Hawklilly looked around the clearing. She wished she had someone to talk to. Muttering, she traced her claws through the dust. She flexed them, and the golden she-cat's tail twitched.
-
A golden she-cat padded in, her green eyes glinting with fear. The last Gathering she had been to, she had been almost torn to crow-food. She hoped she could find someone nice
to talk to, unlike her last conversation here.....The she-cat shook her head. Flexing her claws in the ground, her pelt shone under the moonlight, turning it a glittering gold. She looked more like a StarClan warrior now......
-
The golden she-cat yowled in fury as the lead rogue sank his claws into her chest. "Fight, you worthless piece of mouse-dung!" He taunted. Hawklilly's yowls of fury turned to screeches of agony as more rogues leapt on her, clawing and biting.
-
Hawklilly heard the bushes rustle beside her. She jumped in horror, and bolted in opposite direction.
Crashing into a band of rogues, the she-cat stopped. She screeched in agony as the toms leapt upon her, clawing and spitting. She was badly outnumbered.
-
Panting, the gold she-cat stood up. She dipped her head in gratitude, and raced off into a group of rogues, sinking her claws into one's jaw.
-
Shrieking in fury, Hawklilly raked her claws down a black tom's flank. The golden she-cat's fur was matted with blood, but that was mostly the other cat's. Panting, her green eyes glared at a large, gray she-cat. Yowling, the warrior flung herself into her gray opponent, sinking her fangs into her forepaw. Sqealing, the gray cat limped into the bushes.
-
A shadow moved along the edge of the clearing, so quickly, it was just a blurr. Then, a golden she-cat stepped into the light, her green eyes glimmering. She sat down and looked to the tusseling cats. Flexing her claws in fear, the gold warrior jumped into a tree.
-
The golden warrior clawed in fury at a tom's chest, her jaws parted in a deafening screech. Her claws unsheathed, Hawklilly sank her claw into the tom's eye. She yowled in pain as her claw stretched too far and ripped. Hawklilly shook her wounded paw, then, growling, sank her teeth into the nearest cat.
-
Hawklilly heard a rustle in the bushes. She glanced around, and padded down to the stream. Suddenly, a fox crashed out of the undergrowth, snarling. The golden she-cat was flung into the air, and she yowled in fear. As the fox pinned her, her yowls of fear turned to screams of agony as the massive creature tore at her shoulder. Her screeches did nothing for her, she was badly outmatched, and the fox rose for a killing blow.
-
Hawklilly shrieked in pain as the fox bit into her neck. It wasn't a fatal blow, but it was agonizingly painful. StarClan help me! She thought as the fox reared for a killing blow.
-
Hawklilly's yowls were cut short as the fox slammed his paw down on her throat. The golden she-cat let out one more desperate cry, "SOMEONE HELP ME!" She screamed, and the fox put its other paw in her mouth, muffling her cries.
-
The fox closed his jaws around the golden she-cat's neck, although his teeth weren't in her flesh yet. She clawed his face and screamed. "SOMEONE HELP!!!!!" She had only a few heartbeats to call, then the fox slammed her down, driving her muzzle into the soil. Suffocating, Hawklilly gagged on the dirt and flailed her legs in vain. It's all over. There's no reason to fight anymore. Stop fighting....stop fighting..... The golden warrior sighed and closed her eyes, waiting for the fox to give the killing bite.
-
Hacking, Hawklilly looked up at saw Frostpaw fighting the fox. She got to her paws, which was a mistake. The gold she-cat collapsed on the ground, coughing out blood, then blacked-out.
