Waterbeam nodded as well. "It's utterly sad. StarClan didn't intend this."
Silverpaw glared at the new cat. "Yes, what do you mean?" she demanded. "I didn't see you talking with us."
Then Waterbeam turned to look over her shoulder. "Oh, great StarClan," she sighed exasperatedly. "More fighting!"
-
Dapplesmoke turned to look at the yowling. Not more fighting! she thought desperately. The Clans didn't need this!
Silverpaw's tail began to lash back and forth as she watched the arguing cats. "Why must the Clans fight?"
-
((Lol, does anyone notice that there are two Silverpaws?))
Waterbeam got to her paws as well, as her sister followed Leafstorm. "Yes! The Clans don't need this!" Silverpaw persisted as Dapplesmoke got up from her seat and padded over.
-
Nightfall started to slow down as they reached this area, heart beating fast and furious with love and anticipation. Stopping by the den, she turned to face Lightningbolt; she was panting heavily, but her eyes shone with endless energy. "It's amazing to live with you," she breathed. "I have not felt this alive in many, many moons. More than you have seen."
-
"Stop!!" hissed Silverpaw, ears flattened furiously. "I say, we don't need any more fighting!"
Meanwhile, Dapplesmoke and Waterbeam moved to stand side-by-side, watching apprehensively. What would happen next?
-
Leafswirl skidded across the icy ground to face Brackenpaw, but he came at her head now from this side. She buckled under him, and rolled onto her side at the edge of the grass, and submitted. "Okay okay!" she panted. "You can stop now."
"Well done, Brackenpaw," purred Sacredsplash, who was now grooming her left flank, "but you didn't use the frontal blow that Leafswirl was trying to teach you."
"Yes," gasped Leafswirl.
-
-
"Ugh!" spat Silverpaw. "This is too far!" She leapt down after them.
"Young cats," sighed Dapplesmoke, remaining where she was. She kept calm, but she recieved a sideways glance from Waterbeam.
-
Thanks, just what I needed. :)
-
"Good riddance!" Silverpaw hissed after him. Then she turned to the she-cat. "Are you okay?"
Dapplesmoke stretched again, and settled down where she was to continue waiting. Waterbeam turned back to Grizzlyclaw, Stonetail, and Leafstorm with a yawn to wait not only for the leaders, but also for Silverpaw.
Then the frozen undergrowth at the edge of the hollow quivered, and a cinnamon-and-white tabby, with the scent of ThunderClan all about her, padded in. "Sorry, I'm late!" she called as she stepped forward. The she-cat known as Brassheart took a quick glance around before flicking her tail and sitting down nearby Grizzlyclaw. "Nasty blizzard, eh?" she meowed to her Clanmate, knowing nothing of the fight.
-
Nightfall returned the smile, catching her breath. "Nor can I," she giggled, tucking her nose into her chest. "I don't know how I've survived all these moons without even knowing you."
-
Silverpaw took a step backwards. "Well fine, you don't have to claw my fur off about it," she growled, tail lashing. She whirled around and went back to the others.
-
Leafswirl scrambled up, shaking snow and ice from her fur. "It's alright," she meowed. "It's quite easy to do. Would you like to go back to camp now?"
Sacredsplash had finished grooming herself and was now stretching luxuriously, tail curled around her legs as she yawned.
-
Silverpaw was already out of earshot as she sat down beside Waterbeam, licking the insult from her paws. "The Clans are coming to a rather nasty conclusion if every cat in the forest keeps wanting to fight about something or the other," she mewed irritably.
-
Waterbeam lifted her nose to the sky, sighing. Will this fighting ever end? Or will the Clans die in a brutal all-time clash?
Dapplesmoke seemed to be thinking the same thing as she rested her head on her paws, eyes clouded with unreadable emotion. Meanwhile, Silverpaw leaned into her sister, unable to speak. Her first Gathering, and it hadn't gone very well, apart from the fact that she had made a few new friends.
-
((Lol it does xD Hopefully they will each have different warrior names; I already know what my Silverpaw's name will be))
Silverpaw looked up to the other she-cat. "What now?" she grumbled.
Brassheart dipped her head. "Nice meeting you."
-
"Yes..." Nightfall said slowly..
Ahhhh..... Nightfall tipped back her head, eyes closed, as she sank away into a different world..
She was bounding through the playground, laughing..all was well. Lightningbolt was at her side..and.. something else.
As she looked down, she saw that they were little puppies, adorable puppies, racing along with them..
"Pups..."
-
Silverpaw felt the weight of her uncharacteristic anger fade away as though it had simply been lifted off of her. She dipped her head in response. "Oh. I'm sorry too, I'm normally not that snippy." She reached up to give the she-cat's nose a gentle lick as Waterbeam watched her with a smile. "I forgive you."
-
((Okay then, I will try my best to be on though I might be a little late, good night
it's almost 5 here, but..ah well ^^))
"Sure," mewed Leafswirl. "I'll show you how to hunt land prey in the cluster of trees, and then later on we can patrol the borders and you can learn how to identify the other Clans' scents and renew our own scent markers."
-
"Hm," grunted Silverpaw. Then she turned to the other. "Which Clan are you from, anyway? I'm RiverClan."
