Wolverine nodded while carefully leading the way through the now demolished compound.

"I want to thank you for accompanying me on this mission, Jean. I am sorry for dragging you into this and for only speaking of this just now. I was just worried, these girls are young and not deserving to be involved in all that has happened. Their whole life they have known nothing but betrayal and abuse. I had wanted to change that for them...yet it seems I have failed to even accomplish that much."

"I would not have been able to save her without you, you have my everlasting thanks." he added while gazing at Jean gratefully.

A few stray sparks from a piece of demolished machinery reminded Wolverine that they need to make haste as he worked to retrace his steps back to where he knew the vehicle they arrived in would be waiting.

I wonder how Angel is doing... he wondered to himself. I sure hope that she wasn't worrying too much, I am just glad I was able to keep my word and bring her friend back, even though she is wounded. But that can be fixed in time, and that is all that matters.

Once he was able to find his way out the compound, the sudden sharp pain the sun's rays brought to his head made the man wonder just how long he had been in there for. Hours? He hoped not too long, he promised Angel he would be back as soon as possible. With a sigh, he carefully placed Tris across the seats in the back his vehicle so that she may rest peacefully before climbing in the front and staring up the engine.

Gonna be a long trip back... He thought to himself.

    Kasimera~

Just when the jedi master's thoughts were about to drift off once more, she suddenly began to notice that Tris was beginning to distance herself. It was as if someone had placed a cloud over her eyes for they became glazed and lost in thought and Kasimera began to wonder if she was even aware of her surroundings anymore.

"Tris? Are you alright, my friend?" she asked hesitantly, not wanting to startle her.

The young trainee didn't seem to respond, she seemed lost to herself. As if something had pulled her away.

It was so sudden that the young girl had snapped into reality that she found herself almost jumping up in surprise and hoped to herself that Tis hadn't noticed. She seemed troubled by something and appeared to be struggling to restrain herself. Lost in thought, she watched sadly as said girl absent mindedly put away her things and wondered off.

Kasimera debated on whether she should confront her or not, yet she found that it was not her right to disturb whatever was troubling her and causing her distress.

Not in her current state...I know what that is like. It is a time where what your mind needs the most is reflection and patience. She needs to heal, from what I do not know, perhaps in time...

    Coroartion~

"The meeting will not be held until a little while longer, however." he informed softly.

"If you are unwilling to rest, then I recommend you at least eat and drink something to gather your strength. I feel that your body needs it in order to help you heal. I am sorry for whatever is troubling you young one. Should you ever feel the need to talk, you know that I am here." he stated without pressuring, hoping she would heed his advice.

Loki had only just managed to free himself in time to here the poor girl's screams as her torments continued. It only drove him harder as he managed to free himself from the gap he tore in the metal bars of his cell.

I shall curse upon myself if I am too late...though it would be unlikely that her wounds would result in her death, though painful...my brother knows to keep her alive...for now at least.

considering he knew every twist and turn of his home by heart, it did not take long for him to soon barge through the heavy doors of the cursed room where he stood face to face with Fandrall himself.

The man had a cruel and twisted smirk upon his face, his bloodied hands clutching a burning metal rod, no doubt used to seer the flesh of his victim. Said girl was a pitiful sight to behold. Her body was covered with gashes, burns, sore, brought by who knows what. He rather not find out.

She has a much stronger will than I had first thought considering she has yet to give in...any lesser being would have considering what she has been put through.

There was a small amount of satisfaction to the note of surprise that found itself upon Fandrall's expression as he entered the room, enraged for what would appear to be the last time.

"Have you any amount of reason and intelligence left in that thick skull of yours, I would release your hold of the weapon now. I am not open to negotiations and am willing to burden you with the same fate shall you try to test my patience. Release her NOW." he said in a chillingly calm voice that had betrayed no emotion.

Walsh smiled cheerfully before answering the receptionist's question.

"Yes, I am Mr. Walsh, I believe I have a file under my name that confirms of an 11:00 meeting?" he asked kindly. "It should be under my name as an email." he reminded.

All the while, the adult allowed his gaze to examine the interior of the main room. It looked basic enough yet there was something about it that gave the building some sort of a eerie feel to it, course, he always had felt uneasy in complexes such as this. Though he was not one to question the environment in which they provided the children with, it wasn't quite what he expected a foster home to be like. Not that he had ever been in one before...

( Sorry about the short post, been awfully busy lately )

Wolverine allowed a small smile at Jean's words as he allowed some of his anxiety to be eased. He knew he was probably worrying too much, but there were parts of him that simply could not help it. It had always brought him pain to see people who didn't deserve it suffer. Especially for those so young. Nobody deserved to go through all that they had, he could only hope that all of that could change for them. He certainly would try his best, and with the rest of the team...they would fit right in.

He brightened slightly at that thought.

He transitioned from his thoughts as he began to realize how dark it was starting to get out and activated the lights on their vehicle. The country roads gave him alot of comfort and sense of home, but with nothing but the moon to light there way tended to make driving harder to navigate.

It was then that the hours he had spent searching for Tris as well as their encounter with Stryker dawned on him for the very first time and Wolverine began to realize that he was exhausted.

I think we all deserve a good rest once we get back to the mansion...heaven knows we need it. He thought wearily before giving a small sigh and blinking the tiredness from his eyes.

"Won't be much longer now...we are almost there." he informed mostly to himself while glancing somewhat worriedly through the mirror at Tris who had not even moved since they started driving.

    Kasimera~

Kasimera had thrown away the remains of her meal and washed her tray in silence. She was worried for her apprentice. It didn't take much to notice the amount of distance she had been putting between herself and others these days.

Something is on her mind...I just wish it was something I could help with...or at least something she would be willing to talk about. Kasimera then mentally cursed herself for her thoughts. It was not her place to decide what Tris wished to do with her thoughts and emotions. It is her rightful choice to make on whether she wished to speak with her about such things or not. Though...a small part of her hoped that she would be able to eventually trust her enough to know that she was there if she ever needed any support.

Deciding to spend some of her time practicing on some battle moves to help the time fly, she forced herself not to trouble herself too much on such matters. Relationships between a master and their apprentice normally took time, something she was more than willing to give without hesitation. She chuckled slightly when she remembered the amount of effort master Skywalker had put into trying to develop this sort of trust with her. It had taken a long time as she was very unwilling to open up to anybody when she was younger. But that didn't stop him any and in the end, he became almost like a father to her. Someone she could trust and look up to.

Frantic steps echoing down the hall and heading in her direction caused Kasimera to halt in her advances in practice as she spotted Volstagg heading her way.

"Greetings sir." she said kindly with a small bow while sheathing her sabor. "Is something troubling you?" she asked curiously when she noticed his expression.

    Coroartion~

The jedi fought back a small sigh at Tinuvial's statement.

"I can see you are feeling a bit restless...troubled perhaps. Very well, I shall oblige only this once on the matter. If you are truly feeling up to it, we can prepare for the meeting as of now. I am sure the others would not mind considering all other tasks were put to a halt until things get resolved." He exclaimed sympathetically to show he was not in the least bit angry.

"And I beg of you not to stress on the matter." he added. "I will make sure of it that no amount of trouble befalls upon you. You did nothing wrong and are therefore undeserving of any amount of punishment."

There was no doubt in Loki's mind that just about every curse under the sun was running through said god's head judging from his expression. Loki however did not give him the time to react any further as he rammed him into the wall, forcing him to drop his tool as he held his up by his throat.

"Every part of my being tells me that I would enjoy seeing you suffer as punishment for the amount of torment you have wrought upon the flesh of an innocent." Loki hissed dangerously in his ear. Then with a small glance in Tris's direction, he lessened his grip slightly.

"Lucky for you however..." he added in an even more venomous tone, "I haven't got the time."

With that, he slammed the hardest part of his fist into the sensitive temple of Fandrall's head, rendering him unconscious. Foolish god, perhaps another time.

With the filth out of the way, Loki swiftly walked up to the wall in which Tris was being held and freed her of her bindings while catching her limp form with ease. "Come on young one." he urged slightly. "This task would be much more due able with you awake." When she did not respond, he sighed before gently carrying her over his shoulder and exited the room. Confrontation with his dear brother would have to wait, for now, he needed to get the girl to some medical attention and fast.

But I will be back... he inwardly promised before continuing his regrettable yet hasty escape.

Walsh politely thanked the receptionist before making his way to the elevator and pressing the button to floor 5. It had taken no time at all for him to find the young girl's room, though, a small part of him began to wonder.

Why on earth would the people find it necessary to put her under maximum security. She is a young girl in need of a second chance, not some sort of criminal mastermind!

Shaking his head, he hesitantly nodded to a couple of the employers in greetings as they allowed him inside the room.

It was a sorry sight, he had to say. They had somehow deemed it appropriate to keep the girl in a room that was mostly grey and kind of dark, there wasn't anything in there for her save a small bed that did not look all that comfortable.

The average mind would think this place a prison cell...

Hiding his thoughts, Walsh kindly smiled when he noticed a small girl huddled slightly in the corner of the room, her eyes downcast.

"Hello there." he said cheerfully yet softly, wanting her to see that his kindness was genuine. He then knelt down so that he was level with her so that she could be able to see him. He did not want to seem pressuring however...

"My name is Daniel Walsh, but feel free to call me whatever you like. I have heard much about you, what is your name young one?" he asked, wanting to give the girl a chance to introduce herself despite the fact that he had already known her name.

Wolverine pondered this for a moment before nodding to Jean in agreement. Though he had wanted to get back to the mansion as soon as possible, he knew that they were all tired, hungry, and in need of a place to rest. He defiantly knew that they should get poor Tris something new to wear. The remainder of whatever clothes she had previously had on were in shreds and stained with her blood.

"Sounds like a good idea. Though, when we stop at a store, I feel that one of us should stay with Tris, I don't want to disturb her any further, and I can only imagine the clerk's reaction to us bringing her in with the state she is at at the moment."

"What kind of stores do...you prefer to go to obtain such clothing?" he asked a few second later, unable to hide the fact that he didn't have much experience when it came to shopping. "Sorry." he added slightly.

    Kasimera~

The jedi was unable to mask her shock as she nearly dropped her sabor at the new. Fumbling to return it to the quiver at her belt, she gave a single frantic nod.

"Yes...yes please...and I thank you for informing me. No need to apologize on such matters sir. " she said with worry as she allowed herself to be escorted out of the training room and into the direction of the medical facilities.

"How has this happened?" She asked, unable to hold it in as she followed.

Was she attacked? Being bullied again perhaps? I hope not, I had thought I had resolved such conflict. She wouldn't do this to herself on purpose. Something seemed to be going on with her last time I saw her. She thought, unable to control her frantic mind.

    Coroartion~

Nodding in approval, he then put on his usual serious and emotionless face...

Old habits die hard when it comes to such pressing matters.

And led the way out of the room, though glancing back behind him to make sure she had the strength to follow, he didn't want to put strain on her still healing injuries.

The walk over to the conference room where he knew the counsel would be was deathly silent and the tension was so thick it seemed overwhelming. He had told his apprentice not to worry, yet truth be told, he was unsure. Coroartion knew there was still going to be some doubt towards Tinuvial, that was something that was forever beyond his control and may take a while to diminish. Yet he also knew that with some of the informants form earlier, some of the confusion had been lifted and many began to open there eyes to the truth of the once so great Jedi master's death.

He has caused enough trouble that if I could bring him back just to kill him again, I would do it 1000 times over. He thought hatefully.

He hesitantly waited just outside the doors of the main room, he glanced at Tinuvial through the corner of his eye, giving her the slightest of encouraging nods before opening the doors to the great room.

Inside, the masters all sat stoic and stern, each of their gazes felt as if they were burning holes into his head.

"Master Arose." one of them spoke in response to his arrival.

"Master Skywalker." he responded back with a slight bow. Glancing over to Tinuvial once more, he wordlessly encouraged her to do the same.

"We had briefly been able to discuss matters over the evidence that had been sent to us in defense to your claims that the young girl is innocent."

"I only apologize that I could not have explained it myself in person at the time." Coroartion stated back emotionlessly.

"Why the sudden change of heart?" one of the others had interrupted coldly.

"As much as I would like to explain myself to you." he responded. "I feel that this is a tale for Tinuvial to explain. She has every right to be heard."

Walsh looked to her with only kindness, patience, and sympathy at her words.

"Please." he spoke softly. "I understand that you have been hurt...many times. I understand if you do not want me here, or just me in general." He said with empathy.

"When I have heard of you, all I could think of was giving you the one thing that everyone else seems to fail to allow. A second chance. Young Tris, I am a teacher at a middle school near here. I see children everyday who go through things like you have. I am not perfect, but I promise you Tris that I wish to make your life as happy as possible. Perhaps your presence could also help brighten mine." he finished with a hopeful smile flashing across his face.

"I, however, leave this up to you. I would never want to force you into anything. I just want you to be happy, and if this is not with me, then I am open to accept that. I don't want you to be uncomfortable or unhappy." He finished sincerely.

As much as he abhorred the idea, Loki found himself escaping the area where he knew he would be least expected. The garbage chute. The smell was loathing and he resisted the urge to wrinkle his nose slightly at the fumes.

Feeling Tris stir lightly in his grip, he doubled his efforts in working his way out. Managing to slide expertly down the metal chute, he reclaimed his ground at the bottom while hoping he was not causing any further discomfort to his tag-along.

She has been awfully quiet, I have yet to find out if that is a sign of good or bad...

With a sigh, he managed to reach a safe area where he could transfer over to another world.

I must reclaim my staff. Without it, I am not complete and have no hope of standing any chance against my brother. I cannot find out where it is until this mortal wakes up...

Biting back his frustration, he decided that his original plans would have to be put at rest...for now.

I need to find her help first... he thought.

( Wanted to make sure, but would it be okay if your char and Loki transferred over to earth for a little bit? )
