Chapter 1
Layla looked at the mouse. She could already taste it! She quietly followed it. The young cat, after what felt like hours, finally pounced. All she got was wooden floor. She hissed with frustration. She'd been dreaming, and she wished it were real. The rest of the day, she sulked around, eating none of her food. Since that dream, she had felt like something was missing. But one day, she found a way out. Everyday, her twoleg opened that big wooden thing, and she saw what she saw in her dream. The outdoors. She would get out, and she would find her wild roots.
Sorry it's so short. If someone gives me some advice, then I'll write some more. Don't be afraid to be critical!

Layla knew she was ready for the journey ahead. With her favorite mouse in between her teeth, she was eager to get going... If only her twoleg would open the wood thing. She waited for a long time, but finally her chance came. The twoleg opened the wood thing, and she ran out it. The twoleg yelled to her, but she didn't hear her. Suddenly, Layla found herself in her dream. Had it been a dream? Or had it been a reality?Either way, Layla thought she was home.
Layla had never been this far away from her twolegs without intentions to come back, but that wasn't enough to stop this determined cat! She walked into the forest and found that mouse. It looked exactly like that one from from her dream. That was weird... Oh well, she'd catch it anyway. What about her own mouse? She dug a hole and put her mouse into it.
There you go! No one will take away my mouse... Toy, at least.
The real mouse was dead meat! She got low in the long grass, then
"Ahhh!"

"Falconpaw, you stupid apprentice! You're supposed to be in camp!
"I'm not Falconpaw, and you weigh a ton!
Layla hissed.
"Stupid kittypets getting into clan territory! Why did you come out here!?"
"Because I had this dream where I was stalking a mouse, and it was the best dream of my life! The wind in my fur, the soft dirt beneath my paws, and now I'm living it!!!"
"No, your not. Go home!
"No! Please, take me to where you live! I have to live in the wild, I can tell it was meant to be!"
The old tom that had attacked her looked into the young cat's eyes, and saw that she really truly wanted to be a wild cat. He sighed and said
"Fine. How old are you?
"Yay! I'm six or seven moons.
"Good, then you can start your training"

I might do something with why he let her into the clan so easily, and I was kind of thinking of doing something like Rusty's story, so I guess I just turned it into that :) and thank you for the compliment
