Bella hurried out of school, head down, and got into her old truck, sticking the key in ignition.

Bella stiffened, sensing someone was watching her, and narrowed her eyes, taking a deep breath. She turned the key and after a bit of struggle her truck sputtered to life and she sped away, gulping and sneaking glances at her rear-veiw mirror to check if she was being followed

Heart beating, Bella sighed in relief and opened her truck door. She had no idea who was watching her, but whoever it was, she knew that they werent like the other kids at school

Deciding to forget whatever had just happened, Bella flopped down onto her bed with her textbooks. Well, she thought, I'll just get a jump-start on tonights homework

Bella sighed in defeat and put her homework away. She just couldnt focus, and her homework was starting to give her a headache

Bella stretched and decided some fresh air would do her good. She bounded down the stairs and grasped the doorknob leading to her backyard

Bella turned the knob and stepped outside, breathing in the damp air of Forks. There was something weird in the air, a stench, but she couldnt pinpoint where or what it was. She looked around, and her eyes zeroed in on an oak tree, and she settled under it, the smell a little bit stronger

Bella looked up and around, her nose wrinkling, but shrugged. Whatever, it's probably nothing she thought

Bella gazed around for a bit, admiring the veiw, but scowled. It's too green she thought, tilting her head back to rest against the tree

Bella yawned, and while yawning she noticed a very handsome dazzling young man in the tree next to her, looking positively magnificent in the sunlight and glittering. Her mouth, already parted in a yawn, stretched wider, and she looked away, squeezing her eyes shut. I didn't see it; I didn't see it, she thought, bewildered

Bella sighed and covered her face in her hands. Se took a deep breath one more and rose to her feet, then started pacing

She was almost sure that it had been a hallucination. She shook it off and blamed it on her headache, then went inside to take some aspirin

She reappeared moments later with a bottle of Sprite

A chill shuddered down her spine.
Bella felt like she was being watched.
Part of her urged her to go inside and stay hidden, to wait for Charlie, but the other part, to wolf part, told her to stay and fight, to protect what was hers. Why was she being watched? More importantly, what was she being watched by? And what on earth was that small?!?!

OOC: the 'small' in italics is supposed to be 'smell' lol XD

IC: She sensed the danger was passed, but Bella was still on edge as she walked cautiously into her house

Bella fell asleep on her cozy bed, tossing and turning the entire night

Bella scowled at the clouds that covered the sky and got in her truck. She reached the school about five minutes later
