Willow frowned, unsure what that really meant. What all did a warrior do? Catalyststar heard the conversation and came over, sitting next to Dancingflame, avoiding Willow's gaze as he answered for her.

"I don't see how he really could be a warrior anymore. He won't be useless by any means, but he can't be a normal warrior." He looked to the fresh-kill pile to the prey Stormraid had caught, wondering if that was before or after he became deaf.

"I just wonder how this happened..." He said quietly.

Willow shook her head, "There's nothing really you can do other than be there for him. Try to see if you can find a way to communicate with him. We can only help it will fix itself but there is no herb that can fix him."

The fluffy white vixen tipped her head to the side, "All type cat raise me. Clan, loner, rogue, housepet. Some twoleg brought me to nest with shiny cages. That how I knew cat." She responded, remembering the cold floors of the cages. The yucky food, though it was all she could get anyway. The twolegs didn't teach her to hunt before she was released, so if it weren't for the cats, she wouldn't know how to even use her little skills to hunt. She wondered if there were any other cats in the maze to find them. It was obvious neither one of them knew where to go.

Luna found Murphy and happily, though she was exhausted bounded over to him, though once there, she practically collapsed. She didn't think she had ever felt so weak.

Sadi saw this and despite her own exhaustion and that her cuts were stinging she left the group in search of food. They obviously needed some sort of energy if they were to continue to wherever Sasha was taking them.

Nevaeh sat down and scratched her neck as she thought about it. Arctic fox? As far as she knew, she was just a white fox. She didn't really understand the different kinds of foxes. She faintly remembered her mother, orange. Hm, wasn't that normal? She didn't really know. She knew where she had been living before the twolegs though.

"Orgin? I think? Twoleg didn't take. Twoleg saved. My mother killed by wolf. Saved me from den. I lived in forest." She answered.

Luna looked at him with a stubborn glare. She was good at those. She assumed Murphy was hiding it, but she said nothing. There wasn't much she herself could do anyways.

    firegaze

Firegaze saw that she was about to start talking as she looked down at the ground, just as he had done.

“Well, it started when I was a kit. I guess when I was two months- or moons in Clan-time- old, my father, a black panther alchemist, cast a curse on me, giving me a demonic side of myself. He scored a terrible wound into my neck, and black smoke constricted my heart, turning half of it evil.” Trinity hung her head low, so Firegaze could see slightly red gouge taken out of the back of her neck. He bristled at the sight of it, feeling a rush of fury towards this panther. How could anyone do such a thing to his sweet Trinity...he paused. Did he really just think that? He didn't deny that he felt feelings for the cat, but just now he had felt such a fierce urge to protect her, avenge her...it was all so strange...

“He tried to get me to kill my mother, Crystal, but I guess I was too newly transformed, so I still had control over my demonic side. He left, and months later, a terrible drought came to our land. But Snap- what I call my demonic side- led me to a hidden lake in our land. That’s when I knew it wasn’t entirely evil. But still…” Trinity trailed off, remembering all too well her first murder.

“When I was around seven months old, my mother let me go out hunting by myself for the first time. I ran into our forest and my mother and I leave scent markers around our stretch of land- something she picked up from the Clan cats I guess- and I stayed within those. But I picked up another animals scent. It turned out to be another cat, and it was stealing our prey! Anger triggers Snap, and that’s what happened. I completely mauled the cat; you couldn’t even tell what color fur or eyes they had anymore. Terrified of what I’d done, I ran away, back home, and told Crystal I could never hunt again.” Trinity finished. She looked so frightened that Firegaze just wanted to console her, tell her it's okay and that she doesn't have to talk about it anymore, but he knew she had to. She had to get everything out, just as he had and live through many painful moments in her past. As horrified as he was about how brutal Snap seemed, he didn't feel any resentment towards Trinity at all. She couldn't control it...unlike himself. He killed by choice, nothing evil drove him other than his own mind.

“I killed many more after that, and I feared for my mother’s safety. So I set out to find my father, Rown, so I could hopefully get him to break the curse. But, instead, he told me he was my father- I hadn’t known he was before- and told me how much he hated Crystal. Terrified, I ran back home, only to find Rown slaughtering my mother. That’s when I began on my journey to who-knows-where. And that time I stared at you as if all the badgers, foxes, and dogs in the world had appeared, it was because I had a vision of Rown killing you the same way he had my mother, and he had said, ‘You are destined to lose all you grow to love…’ And when I first smelled the yew on your paws, I thought of maybe eating some myself. I mean, I was starting to enjoy killing, the taste of other animals’ blood, the feeling of flesh ripping under my claws, the look of fear in their eyes…” She shook herself, clearing the evil grin and hungry look on her face. Firegaze noticed the grin and felt a slight shiver down his spine but shook it away. He was still in a rage about Rown. He didn't know how anyone could want to hurt Trinity, especially her own father. Rown seemed 100 times more evil than Sharptail, though Sharptail was bad, even he had his limits. Rown didn't seem to have any in the slightest. He deserved to be clawed....

Firegaze didn't really process the whole, "Rown killing him in a vision" thing, deciding to just brush that one off. He couldn't afford to fear this animal. Not when it meant he might need to save Trinity from him. Besides, another thing was stuck in his mind right now. ‘You are destined to lose all you grow to love…’ Did that mean she was going to love him? Or maybe already did? The thought made his pelt go warm and his thoughts all floating, which immediately crashed after hearing she had wanted to kill herself. Yes, he had wanted to as well but he was still horrified a the thought of her doing it. He wouldn't let her if she ever thought of it again, that was for sure. No matter how much a cat got used to death, killing, enjoying it...it just don't justify. If he had been in his right mind when he had the yew, he would've known better, maybe.

“But, you may not believe what I’m about to tell you next, but that’s your choice. When I say I have a demonic side, I mean I turn into a cat skeleton, with eyes like an endless gorge, glowing red in their depths, with large metal claws, and deadly sharp teeth. And I pick up my father’s abilities to torture one’s mind and cast illusions. So I could make it feel and look as if acid were pouring out of your mouth, but in reality, you are still perfectly fine, even you still feel the pain.” Trinity shivered. She was right though, Firegaze did have a hard time believing that, however he didn't doubt that it was possible. After all, he saw dead ancestors and his leaders receive nine lives. That's pretty weird too. Snap was a very scary kind of weird, but Firegaze could accept that. He just needed to keep Trinity calm, sounds easier than it probably is, but he would do anything to protect her. He gazed at her for a moment, his eyes demanding to see hers. He padded closer to her, closing the distance between them and rested his head on top of hers.

"I'm not going anywhere Trinity. I can promise you that. Whatever horrors our past chases us with, we'll be fighting them together." He purred quietly.

    ====================================

Sharptail kept his chin raised, even as he saw the minions rise. What kind of creature is this? he wondered. He was a little worried, but if Rown wanted to be an ally of his, well then that would be quite beneficial. So what if he had to kill some she-cat, as long as he could get to Firegaze....

"Sure, I wouldn't mind teaming up with you. Just makes everything all the easier." With his response, his gang padded up behind him, showing that they would follow him. Though their eyes still remained uneasy as they looked as Rown and his minions. They had no clue what they were dealing with.

The fox shrugged, "Don't know. I lost too. Been here for all day." She sniffed the air and once again the tempting smell of twoleg food engulfed her, making her salivate. She tried focusing just on the food smell and it was coming from the left turn they were standing by.

"I might get us out. I follow food scent." she said to Dreampaw.

    [14/20]

As Nevaeh sniffed along the air, she glanced at Dreampaw every so often. They were getting closer, she could tell, but the she-cat seemed distressed. Talking wouldn't break her concentration now that she was locked on to her destination,

    "What wrong?" She asked.

    [15/20]

Nevaeh nodded and watched her curiously and then kept going, "Amost there." She said. Her mouth was very salivated and she couldn't wait to finlly fill her empty stomach, "hope you make back in time." She knew it would be dark soon, she would have to stay in the maze at night. She saw the break in the corn and rushed towards it,
    "Made it!"

    [16/20]

The little white vixen's mouth was watering from all of the food just a little bit in front of her, still she tried to concentrate on Dreampaw. She didn't want her new friend to get in trouble with her clan.

"What about clan?" Even as she spoke, it was growing difficult to pay attention as she started moving zombie-like towards the twoleg food.

    [17/20]

Nevaeh nodded absently and wandered closer, looking at the twolegs. When they were turned she hopped onto the seat of the bench they had their food on. She peeked over the edge and saw so many things. There were more than one of these benches with food. It must of been one of those twoleg gathering things. Surely they wouldn't miss anything she took....right? She grabbed something that smelled like fresh kill but with a smoky scent to it as well and hopped back down dashing a couple fox-tail lengths into the maze. After taking a bite of the food, she whined with contentment. She peeked back out of the maze.

"You must try food!" She called out to Dreampaw. She ducked back to finish the morsel she had taken. She would have to get more to take with her as well.

Welcome To the Haunted House Party!

Twolegs are having some sort of a weird gathering, dressed in many different kinds of ghoulish things. There are costumes lying around as well as many interesting treats for the cats who dare wander into this occasion. On top of that, there are plenty of scares to go around, this IS a haunted house. What will your warrior do in this party?

Nevaeh woke up feeling groggy. She didn't remember how she got here....then she did. She had found the train and decided to rest there, but now it was moving. She didn't know where it was going and she wasn't sure what to do about it. She looked around cautiously though. Something wasn't right...

    [2/15]

Nevaeh decided that just standing around wasn't going to help her figure out what was going on around here. She started padding for a door and nudged it open. The ground was moving beneath her and across was another door, but a landing in front of it. She sucked in a breath and jumped for it, landing a little clumsily, making her heart jump. She exhaled in relief and went into the next section of the train.
