Jake thought for a moment, " Well we can talk about pretty much anything. What do you want to talk about then?" Jake didn't really have much to talk about. He wasn't into things that were 'mainstream' and didn't really understand it. Jake just wanted to know more about Wynter, what she liked and everything.

"I'd prefer know the real you, not some phoney mask you wear." Jake said simply, staring at the scratches in the old desk. Jake quickly looked up to Wynter and added, " Because after all, you are an interesting person, I'd like to know and understand you." Jake didn't really get any of the populars, it interested him that even a popular didn't act the way they wished. Every popular could be that way, actually nice and caring! That was a delusion though, most of the populars were mean and acted that way normally.

Jake was actually suprised about Wynters reply, she was actually a Tom-boy it seemed! About himself? Jake wasn't really interesting, but he decided to talk about his boring self. "Um, well I dress like this and I like music. Oh, uh I play guitar. That's pretty much about it." Jake laughed lightly, and stared back down.

Jake blushed, " I usually just spend time playing the guitar, reading , or down at the daycare with my sister.." He trailed off. School had been such a trouble, Jake hasn't stopped down to the daycare for awhile. His older sister ran the place, and loved having Jake over to help. "So do you have any s-siblings? Or a-anything like that...?" Jake stuttered.

" Ah I'm sorry I brought up such a bad subject! But uh, would you like to learn to play guitar..?" Jake said, instantly feeling bad for bringing up a bad subject with Wynter. Jake saw the pain in her eyes, and wished he hadn't said anything. Jake thought about his parents, they still supported him and were with him even though he was confused. Jake wished to know what happened to Wynters family, but it would be so rude and selfish for Jake to ask.

" Okay.. I'd love to teach you! Playing is more fun with others." Jake said, looking up from the desk to Wynter. " You say you like to draw, d-do you keep a sketchbook or anything? I'd love to see your drawings sometime.." Jake added, staring at Wynters hands and the circles that were being traced.

" I'd love to see your drawings! Only if you're fine wih it though.. And whenever is good for me, how is the weekend?" Jake said, eagerly. Jake was curious about drawing and art, he w as never good at it himself. The thought of showing Wynter how to play guitar made Jake even more eager, because she wanted to learn something from him of all people!

Jake sat, a bit stunned as he watched Wynter take down her pony tail. " Your hair looks pretty down, you should leave it like that more often..." Jake said, not even realising the word came out of his mouth until after. He covered his mouth with one hand, "Uh sorry." Jake quickly apologised. Inside his head, Jake was smacking himself. He always said the stupidest things! Jake hoped that Wynter wasn't getting sick of him.

" Ah well I just tell the truth." Jake said, glancing at Wynter's hand then her face. Jake was sure that Wynter would be made fun of for being around him. A loser with a beautiful popular, people would be baffled to see them together! " So, you um, like video games? What kinds do you play?" Jake asked.

"I love horror stuff! Zombies, murder, first-person shooter, I like all of it." Jake replied happily. He had an obsession with zombies awhile back, but now he hadn't really been into it much as before." I'm kind of bad though, I just like the games plot lines and character buildups. Like when you play a good game, you can relate to the characters! At least, that's how it is for me." Jake babbled, smiling while talking.

"Yeah! Sometimes I get sad if something happens to a character I like.. That happens a lot for me. I get attached to characters in games easily!" Jake smiled, it made him happy someone had the same tastes as him. Most people just gave him a weird look if he said that about games. That could be why Jake like Wynter so much, she just understood him.

"Yeah! I totally know how that feels." Jake replied, as a thought passed him. Wynter was so easy to talk to, it was like they were friends already! It was actually scary how well Jake and Wynter clicked, it was like the two were ment to be friends. Jake was happy, it was like old times before thing got bad for him. It was like the old happy times with his friends.

Jake smiled, "Well I'm glad that I got to meet the real you, and talk to you!" Jake was thankful for beig at school today. Even though he almost bailed and ditched school in the morning, he was happy he decided to go to school. Jake really liked Wynter, he felt like she was an actual nice human being that he could trust. Without the act, Wynter was a tomboy girl that was nice! Jake just wished that Wynter could show her true self to others more often.

"I'm excited for this weekend," Jake said with a small smile. "Sadly class is almost over, but I'm happy we could talk!" Jake was truly happy to talk to Wynter, then he remembered reality. Wynter was ignoring the jocks and populars. They would probably threatnen him! Jake didn't care though, he would put up with them if it ment that he got to talk to Wynter.

((Well I dunno, sure? I dont really mind much, it's up to you because you started the thread. :3 And to the dance idea, sure! Sounds good with me.))

Jake nodded, "Well see you later." and picked up his stuff and started packin up his stuff. He had one more class of the day, then he could go home. Jake was thankful it was almost the end of the day, but sad that he and Wynter couldn't talk more. Wynter waited for the populars, as Jake left the room to go to his next class.

Jake sat alone in his class, staring at the clock hanging on the wall at the front of the room. He desperately wanted the class to end, and escape. Jake felt bad, he guessed the populars were bugging Wynter since she had sat with him. Jake was happy she sat with him, and was very worried about how her friends will react. After all, earlier Wynter looked like she was to cry just of the thought of the populars being mean! Jake hoped the populars weren't being mean to her, but assumed that they were bothering her with questions.

Jake practically leaped out of his seat to the door when the bell rang, signing the end of the day. Jake quickly scurried to his locker, avoiding crashing into others. Some populars were out in the hall, he could hear their whispers. "Wynter likes a loser." Jake frowned, 'likes a loser.' ? Did they mean him? Jake assumed it was just the populars joking around. There was no way Wynter could like him, and they were of two different worlds. "Wynter likes the loser!" Someone laughed. Jake slammed his locker door closed. Anger boiled in this veins, stupid people who assume and say things for others! People were so ignorant, Jake wished the stupid populars would jut leave Wynter alone and stop putting words into her mouth. Jake had been rushing out of the school, but stopped in the school yard as he realised something. What would people say if they knew they would be together hanging out on the weekend? Another student bumped into Jake and muttered a curse at him, Jake slowly started walking again. Jake wondered if Wynter would be in the school still, so he decided to go to the front doors of the school to wait for Wynter. Maybe he could ask about the things the populars have been saying.

Jake saw Wynter storming out of the school. She looked pissed, and she had her heels in her hand. Jake ran to Wynter, and stumbled a bit as he got to her side. "Hey are you alright Wynter? Why aren't you wearing your shoes, you will hurt your feet." Jake said worried, as he frowned. He wanted to help Wynter with her problems. Jake had a feeling it was his fault too, he wondered how Wynter would get home. If she walked home, it wouldn't be very nice for her.

Jake could tell that Wynter was really bothered, so he ran to catch up to her. " Look, I know I'm annoying. I'm betting that your friends are bothering you because of me, so at least let me make it up to you by carrying you home. It is the least I could do, since I caused you so much trouble." Jake furrowed his brows, and wrung his hands behind his back. He really felt bad, and the sooner he could get Wynter home, the better. If Wynter was away from the evil school and her so called 'friends', maybe she would be less stressed and not bothered. Jake was expecting to be turned down, he had these moments with his sister. She was stressed and Jake offered to help but he was always turned down. Jake just hoped that he could be helpful someway to Wynter.
