Mouse turned and saw Thunderpaw up and moving. "Lay back down, your still not fully healed," Mouse meowed sternly.

Mouse, satisfied, turned back towards the opening. Soon feeling a bit sleepy she laid down and fell into a light sleep.

A young small brown cat peered out from behind the apprentices' den. She was very shy and she watched as the warrior entered the camp, keeping low and hidden. Mousepaw didn't speak very much to the other apprentices. She just did what she was told. She looked at the small bundle in the warrior's jaws. More kits.

Mousepaw shuddered at his touch. She really didn't know what to make of Rainpaw. She did like him, but she was scared. Mousepaw had shut everyone out ever since the death of her parents and her deadly encounter with a gang of rouges. Mousepaw had never really trusted anyone. She turned her attention towards the nursery. She heard the small kit wailing inside. She was curious. Mousepaw slinked out from behind the apprentices' den and headed towards the nursery. The touch of Rainpaw's muzzle still lingering on hers. Mousepaw came up to the nursery and peered inside. She saw the small kit nuzzled into its mother's belly. Mousepaw let out a soft purr and crouched down by the entrance silently.

Mousepaw watched the kittens for a little while before she felt a light touch on her shoulder. It was her mentor Birchfeather. The brown and white tabby tom looked down on her with soft yellow eyes. "Time for training Mousepaw," he meowed. Mousepaw nodded and got up and followed Birchfeather out of the camp.
