Leafpaw walked around the clearing with his mentor. He sighed with boredom, as he continued to look for someone who needs help. Thornscar looked at the apprentice out of the corner of his eyes and caught the expression of his face. He sighed as well, but then had a idea.

"Fine, fighting one of these 'dead cats' will be great training for you." Thornscar said, sitting down. Leafpaw's ears perked up at the approval form his mentor.

"You think so?" Leafpaw said anxiously He unseathed his claws once again, and smiled as Thornscar nodded. Leafpaw spotted a target and narrowed his eyes at the creature. He arched his back, and let out a defending growl and hiss.

Barrenstorm Glanced at each and every one of the gravestones he passed. 'Reaper...' he murmured to himself. A slight pain of sorrow filled his body for the first time in seasons, but was immediately replaced with anger and hate. He then thought 'why do I have symphony for these cats? they're dead. I should be glad i'm, not...' he swiped a ball of moss to the side as he continued to walk around the dark graveyard. A cool breeze swept through his pelt which irritated him, like everything else. He hated the fact that he even choose to come here. It wouldn't make him feel any better, the presence of past spirits only angered him more. For some reason, the sorrow that he meant to have was placed with bitter hate. He didn't know why it happens, and he didn't care.

He slowed to a stop, and looked at a medium sized rock. Guilt flooded him as he stared at the flat surface. What it felt like an eternity, he placed his left paw on the rock. he felt the cold, and oddly soft surface. Who he mentioned before- 'Reaper' was one of his past friends that he knew for a long while.

'Hello...' he said softly. 'I...I don't know what to say... it felt as though it was just yesterday since you-' his words were caught in his throat. 'T-this was m-my fault..' the cat's eyes started to water. he looked around, making sure no one had spotted him. It would of been extremely difficult to come up with an excuse to why he's talking to a rock, let alone crying.

What had felt like an eternity, Barrenstorm lifted his paw from the rock and placed it back on the ground. His head held low, he looked at the ground, thinking about what to do next. His words echoed in his head. 'Its my fault....' He thought over and over. Moments later he looked up, and around to check once again if he was being watched.

Leafpaw spotted a dead cat, charging at him He made a defending hiss, and Tackled it to the ground. The cat Was fast enough to get out of the small apprentice's grip, but leafpaw knew that beforehand. He twisted around and swiped the enemy's face with both of his front paws. He jumped back as fast as he can, landing on his hindpaws.

Renegade and Deathblossom Walked into the clearing, looking from corner to corner. "Its been quite a long time since I've been here.." Spots exclaimed. Deathblossom ignored him, and sat down under a tree. "I haven't been to a gathering in moons.." she said. "It doesn't seem any different than the last one I have been at.."

Leafpaw sooner then ignored the cat, He placed Fighting as his top priority for now. 'One more swipe and ill have the the advantage...' he said under his breath. The young apprentice charged at the target, and rammed it against a tree. However, the Decaying enemy simply Threw Leafpaw off of it, sending the cat to the ground. He gasped-for it knocked the breath out of him. He didn't spring up instantly, the pain shook through his whole body. The dead cat once again charged at him at top speed, growling.
