Now I gotta add you! :)

Silverlust called for her mate again. What was going on out there that made him leave so suddenly? "Murderpride!" Silverlust stood up, accidentally dislodging her kits, and padded out of the den. Why was he taking so long? She glanced around the clearing. She could smell CenturyClan, but there was only one strange cat there, and he was the cat that had been in the Filth's pit. And where was Heartlust? She was sure she had heard Heartlust out here.

Silverlust slipped over to Murderpride. "What's going on, Murderpride? I am sure I can smell CenturyClan, but there's no sight of them. Are the kits safe here, when they're so close to attacking?" Her voice was soft and full of concern, and her eyes blazed with fear for the future as she held the steady gaze of Murderpride.

Honey stared at her friend. "I'm not that good!" she felt embarrassed by flarepaw's praise. If she was anywhere near as good as mercury, then she would have won the practice. Flarepaw had easily been beating her even before the other apprentice unsheathed her claws. "You're a much better fighter than me, Flarepaw." she mewed.

Featherbrain stood up. "Leafstar, I think that we can live alongside the twolegs in peace. If we merely act friendly with the twolegs, they will have no reason to bother us, and they might even, if they think we ate their friends, they might keep their dogs away from our terratory, or at the very least they might keep them under control and not let them chase us. I know that the twolegs generally do not let their dogs chase our cats, and if they are fond of us, then they will take more control over their dogs. It's worth a try." Featherbrain sat down again, and looked around the cats to see what they thought of her speach.

Pebblesplash flicked his tail for Rosethorn to come over to him. "Rosethorn, would you mind going hunting? We need the freshkill pile to be ready for if the lake freezes. Could you, please? Oh, and have you seen Frozen? We're supposed to be leaving on patrol, but he isn't here." pebblesplash stood up, and started pacing the camp. He hated it when warriors were late for patrols. It puts the whole day out of balance, he thought to himself, scanning the camp for Frozen. It'll be sunhigh, by the time we get going!

Silverlust nodded. This whole thing sounded very complex, and she didn't quite understand it. "Are we going to give Malik a Clan name, then, if he's going to join us?" Silverlust flicked her tail, and glanced back towards the den. The gluttonys were mewling for her, and she needed to head back to them. "Would you like to name the tom?" Silverlust spun around, and padded back into her den, and encircled her body around the tiny bodies of her gluttonys.

Pebblesplash laughed at the kit's antics. He glanced over at Zippytail. Maybe one day we'll have kits... He turned to Rosethorn. "Right, change of plan. Frozen can hunt. We need to get this patrol going as soon as possible. Violetkit, I have a special job for you." he crouched down to talk directly to the kit. "I want you to stay here in the camp, and keep watch for Frozen. When you see him, tell him that Pebblesplash says to go hunting. Can you do that for me?" He looked up to Ambergaze, then back to Violetkit. "maybe your mother can help you. Rosethorn, you're on patrol. we'll go get Firepaw, then head out."

"If we ignore them, we're basically giving up on that terratory, and any twoleg paths which they have. We'd be better off becoming friends, and warding them off the forest. Also, predators are less likely to bother us if the twolegs are more comfortable with our presence. They could be useful allies. Featherbrain coulkd understand the Clan's unease. What she was suggesting went against their instincts, and common sense. However, she felt it neccesary. "If they know we live here, and we are friendly, they will be less likely to destroy our home."

Ooc: is anyone going to mention the warrior code i.e. it might make them like Kittypets?
