Ruin sighed and sat down. The strong, handsome tom should not be here, with all of these cats. He did not belong. He should just leave. But he couldn't. Something had called the handsome tom here, and he was determined to fine out what.

Ruin sat by a small creek, lonely as usual.
-
{Yes}
-
Ruin raised his head as the scent of she-cat caught in his nostrils. "Hello?" he asked.
-
Ruin sighed and hung his head. He didn't want to see the harvest moon anymore. It was too beautiful, and he didn't deserve to see it.
-
Ruin sighed and stood up. The handsome tom began to walk away from the Gathering.
-
Esme shivered and she looked at Fawkes. He was kind of cute.
-
Ruin cocked his head to the side. "What? What's going on?" he demanded in surprise.
-
"Hi," Ruin growled, not even turning to see the she-cat. "Thanks," he said blankly, not in the mood to flirt.
-
Ruin's head raised as he saw somecat about to kill a poor she-cat. "Stop!" he yowled, standing up.
-
"No! Stop! Please!" Ruin hissed, bounding towards the she-cat. "Stop! She doesn't deserve this!"
-
Ruin's fur bristled, and his eyes glowed with fury. "Leave her alone," the commanding tom ordered. His tone was full of authority, trying to convince these cats to let the helpless she-cat go.
The tom suddenly saw her fall to the ground, and dashed to her side. He began to clean her wounds, all the while murmuring comforting things.
-
Ruin gasped as he felt the life slowly drift from the she-cat's body. "I'm sorry," he murmured. "I've failed yet again."
-
Shila whimpered and clawed at the cage she was held in. The poor she-cat began to yowl. She hated the two-leg thing. "Let me out!" she hissed, begining to claw at it.
-
Ruin cocked his head to the side. "Okay?" The tom then turned to Blazefeather in the tree. "Hello!" he called up to her.
-
Ruin shook his head and began to pad away. "No, it's not okay. It's my fault she's dead. If I had gotten to her quicker..." the tom meowed disdainfully. He hung his head and squeezed his eyes shut.
-
Shila yelped as she came tumbling out of the cage in a ball of golden fur. "Eep!" she squeaked, and rolled towards Hawk.
-
Shila cocked her head to the side, and shook out her ruffled pelt. "Well, nice to meet you..." she listened to the two-legs for a moment. "Eli...I'm Shila," she meowed cheerfully.
-
Ruin sighed again and shivered. "I need to leave. I don't belong here. I never have," the handsome tom meowed, standing up.
-
Shila giggled as Hawk was hit with a newspaper. "Wow," she purred, "you're a bad kitty." The golden tabby then walked over to him, her blue eyes shining brilliantly.
