OOC: no one else seems to be here so the show can be over :)
IC: Kree unbuckled the girth from the saddle and set it down in the trailer, then lifted the saddle off of Murray. She had been cooling him off, and the sounds of people leaving the show emanated from the grounds. Kree slipped the halter onto Murray, who stood still while she ground tied him to go put the tack into the compartment in her trailer. She came back for him, and led him up into his spot in the trailer. Tying him to the side, she put his blanket and shipping boots back on. He nickered to her has she closed him up and went off to get Art from the side of the trailer.
Art was waiting, the mare impatiently flipping her tail and milling around. She was whinnying at the other horses, and looked over at Kree when she approached her, nickering gently. It was as if she was saying, "Finally, you made it." Kree untied her mare and led her into the white trailer, shifting her sideways and tying her up. When the fly blanket and boots were on, Kree scratched Art between the ears and whispered, "We got some new ribbons to hang in your stall, girl. Good job." Backing up and closing in Art, then closing up the trailer, Kree latched it shut and went to pile up the supplies into the backseat of her jeep.
When it was done, she left for home. As she drove, she kept the radio constantly going on her favorite channel. When Kree pulled up into the driveway of the barn that she had now gotten used to, she grinned. Home at last from one of the toughest shows of the year. Lizzy would bring home an award to hang somewhere special in the barn. It was the best overall barn ribbon, which was given to the stables whose representatives had won the most in the show. This was the first year they had won this award. Sprucewood was very popular, so it was hard to win.
Kree unloaded her horses and settled them back into their stalls, stretching them out first, then giving them feed and water, then lifting off their blankets and boots. She was proud of them. She went to go get the ribbons, and then mounted them up on the wall of the horse that she had won each on. Then Kree went to her dorm room and crashed on her bed.
