yep u can still be in it...

Kree watched as her friend was grabbed, and glared at Arthur. She ran foward and shoved into him, grabbing his arm. "You get the f*** away from Valerie. NOW!" She leaned foward into his eyes. "You hear me? You haven't even seen me mad yet! Don't you dare lay hands on her!" Kree held his arm and slapped him, probably a little too hard. She shoved him away. "She's been through so much, and you know it. I thought you were okay." She glared at him.

Shay smiled. "Beautiful name. I ride my boy, Graffi, in eventing. We still have yet to reach that level of jumping with ease, though. Graffi knows how to jump well, he just get excited, and I guess we don't look like that when we jump. We are getting close, though. Sorry, I'm just rambling on about my horse. I talk, a lot."

Kree glanced at him, but then looked away. "Hey, I understand, man. It's not fun, when life's rough. But if you dare hurt one of my friends...I swear..." She was cut off by the announcement that the in-hand showing was starting in five. "I have to go. Just remember, I am not afraid to go all Miranda Lambert on you. I am serious." She looked back at him and gave a hint of a smirk. She couldn't help getting that flirty hint in there somewhere, it was just her nature. Kree went back to her horse trailer and polished up Murray an extra bit. She put his fancy-nameplate-halter on, and got out her long, gleaming leather lead. Kree went and checked her braiding job, still up and pretty, and then led him on over to the back of the arena. The announcer gave the names of the showers in the order they came in, as they were given numbers. Kree walked in with a "...Kree Mason," and started going in the circle of the in-hand arena. They asked all of the showers to do a few things, like trot, and canter a bit, but also do many turning and bending. The judge finally had eliminated the others, and it was only Kree, a girl with a muscular chestnut, and a young boy with a tall warmblood remaining. The judge went around, and told them to line up in the middle. As he came to Kree, she moved away from his gaze, giving him the best view of Murray. He finally announced that, "Kree Mason with His Colorful Mural" had won. Kree patted Murray, and attached the pretty ribbon to his nameplated halter. But as he looked at her and shook hands, he smiled and said, "Miss, are you okay? You, you're crying."

Kree walked out, angry at Arthur, for hurting someone that was a good friend of hers. She dragged Murray along, who felt her anger, and let her. He trotted beside her to keep up, and then she took him to the trailer and tied him up again. One more day. There was still the dressage day. Dangit, why? She wished the twins were here, at least she would be able to keep her mind off of things by hanging with them, getting to know them better.

Kree went and took a good hour to find Val. That was fine, because she was done showing for today. She sat next to her as she sang. "Hey, you know I was just trying to protect you, right? He said his parents whipped him as a kid. He could have done that to you..I just...." she stopped and felt a tear slide down her face, realizing that, for the first time, love was not just a game. She had been stupid all her life to think that.

OOC: g'night :) bedtime for me, too. c u guys tomorrow :) oh and wait for morning to come until everyone who wants to has had a chance to do something during the night :)

Kree smiled back, and then noticed the sun going down. They were starting the nighttime shows and demonstrations, then tomorrow, everyone would do dressage. Then, all of Ashwood would go home and swim, have a party, and take pictures with the ribbons. They would let anyone enter the shows and demonstrations, so Kree decided to go show her bareback talent on Art. It all started at 9:00, and it was currently 7:31. And, of course, at the end, everyone would get together and do a gigantic horsey harlem shake. Kree went and completely untacked Art, who was confused at first, but then got it. Kree mounted bareback, and used her weight and legs to steer Art. She was practicing for the show.

Kree went up to check the placing, and had gotten blue in her jumping class. Art was really an amazing horse. Kree smiled. This was the best Ashwood had ever done. They might get best overall stable for the show. Kree went back to practicing for the nighttime show. She set up some jumps for bareback jumping. Then she got an idea. She went and mounted Murray, then turned around backwards. She had done this once before, and felt confident. The jump was only about 4ft, but it was gigantic backwards. She gently pushed Murray into a canter, and reached around for his mane. She looked back and saw the jump. About five strides away. She counted to five strides, Then went into a backwards two-poimt. They made it over all right.

She moved her energy down and tugged on his mane. He stopped. Kree turned back around and patted Murray's neck, then slid off. She motioned for him to follow her, and then stopped him while she put the jump back down. Kree would start cantering in, then would jump backwards. She would then turn back around and push Murray into a gallop, then do a running dismount. Next, she would do...ummm.... Kree would think of it later. All of it would be bareback and bridleless. She patted Murray. "You better be good, boy." Kree motioned for him to follow her back to the barn, then replaced his halter. She tied him back up, and put his fly mask back on.

Kree found Lexi, and made small talk for a while. Kree and Lexi went to go check on the horses together, amd she was rewarded with the trainer's "Good job". It was going to be a long wait before the Shows and Demonstrations started. Kree sighed, and stayed with her horses, talking to them and regrooming them.

Shay smiled and soon, her roommate was going back to put her put her horse up. Shay went and got her horse out, and tacked up. Then, she headed out for the trails. She went straight for a spot by the lake. It was hidden by by trees, but she could see the view still. Shay loved coming here. Graffi put his head down and started grazing on the grass. She made sure that he didn't get any poisonous leaves or plants, but thankfully, this spot was quite bare of things that could make Graffi colic.

Lilah pulled in with her blue trailer that had the Ashwood logo on the back. She had just gotten back with three horses from the auction. Omni, Snickers, and Crackle. Crackle was a project horse, and someone would have to train her. Omni and Snickers, however, were show horses ready to ride. She started to unload them, and started with Snickers, who posed a problem with biting. Sh had trusted the girls who had stayed at the barn to not get into trouble while she was gone. The stable was quiet, as most of the team wasnat the show.

OOC: no one else seems to be here so the show can be over :)

IC: Kree unbuckled the girth from the saddle and set it down in the trailer, then lifted the saddle off of Murray. She had been cooling him off, and the sounds of people leaving the show emanated from the grounds. Kree slipped the halter onto Murray, who stood still while she ground tied him to go put the tack into the compartment in her trailer. She came back for him, and led him up into his spot in the trailer. Tying him to the side, she put his blanket and shipping boots back on. He nickered to her has she closed him up and went off to get Art from the side of the trailer.

Art was waiting, the mare impatiently flipping her tail and milling around. She was whinnying at the other horses, and looked over at Kree when she approached her, nickering gently. It was as if she was saying, "Finally, you made it." Kree untied her mare and led her into the white trailer, shifting her sideways and tying her up. When the fly blanket and boots were on, Kree scratched Art between the ears and whispered, "We got some new ribbons to hang in your stall, girl. Good job." Backing up and closing in Art, then closing up the trailer, Kree latched it shut and went to pile up the supplies into the backseat of her jeep.

When it was done, she left for home. As she drove, she kept the radio constantly going on her favorite channel. When Kree pulled up into the driveway of the barn that she had now gotten used to, she grinned. Home at last from one of the toughest shows of the year. Lizzy would bring home an award to hang somewhere special in the barn. It was the best overall barn ribbon, which was given to the stables whose representatives had won the most in the show. This was the first year they had won this award. Sprucewood was very popular, so it was hard to win.

Kree unloaded her horses and settled them back into their stalls, stretching them out first, then giving them feed and water, then lifting off their blankets and boots. She was proud of them. She went to go get the ribbons, and then mounted them up on the wall of the horse that she had won each on. Then Kree went to her dorm room and crashed on her bed.

Birdsong sat and took it in. "Well, about the first message, when someone dies, it will cause great unhappiness or problems, possibly a start of a disease, or maybe someone with authority will die and cause everyone to have no leader. That could be you." She said the last part matter-of-factly. "And the second part, well, if someone or something important dies, our allies and our enemies will all join together against something. Then the ones who either were too proud to join us or the neutral ones, will defeat us all. So it must be best that no one dies." She whispered this all, not sure everyone else should hear. Then Birdsong realized this meant one thing-keep everyone alive. "I will make sure no one gets sick, everyone stays fine. The more authority, the more urgent they are if they get hurt or sick.
"Our warriors must keep us all on a good supply of food, so no one starves. Also, they must not die, since we don't know for sure who "Death" means. But they must also keep us all safe."

OOC: Deathstar never replied to Birdsong. Of course, that was a lot of pages back... :D

Kree woke up a bit later and decided to go get dinner at the café across the street from the stables's land. It was close enough to walk, so she started the walk to the road. As she passed by the indoor arena, it's own building, she heard someone jumping and went to go peer through the windows. It was Arya. Kree was about to dismiss it, but then noticed the size of the jumps, the precision that Arya was jumping with, the way she eyed the jumps like a pro. Kree knew that from somewhere, most avid equestrians did, and she was sure that this girl was more than just a fellow Ashwoodie. She took out her phone, and looked up Jacob & Arya, and sure enough, google gave her the answer. Kree watched a bit longer, and then called through the silence besides hooves beating, "What happened?" to Arya.

OOC: guess I'll just move on to the present XD

IC: Birdsong sat and flicked her tail, watching a bird. She swept her eyes over the clan, cautious of anyone getting sick, because a few days ago, Deathstar had told her about what he had seen and heard, and now, she did not want anyone to die. She got up and walked around, asking everyone if they felt okay. This would be a long...however long this lasted that death was a danger to the clan. Birdsong first came to the kits, and leaned over, saying, "Everyone feel okay?"
