I decided to start a thread about a kit stuck in a fox trap.....

A small red kit named Brightsoul sat in a fox trap. "Help!" she wailed, but it was interrupted by a break out of coughs as they exploded from her small body. A small stream of blood started to flow out of a small wound on her neck, where the fox trap was tightly wrapped. "Some one! Please! I can't breath very well!" she wailed again. She was positive no one would stop to even look at her. :'(

"Help! I need out!" Brightsoul whispered her eyes started to close, only to flicker open once more. "If you pull the wood out, it might loosen......." Brightsoul's tiny voice trailed off into the distance, becoming drowned out in a meadow lark's call. She tried to wriggle free, but she didn't move a whisker-length.

"Over this way..... I can't get through these bars!" Brightsoul yowled.Thank Starclan someone heard me, she thought. The sun beat down on her pelt, making her hotter than she had ever felt before. Under the sun the metal bars were burning her orange tabby pelt.

Brightsoul squirmed as the wood came loose. She managed to get free. "Thank you so much! I think if you wouldn't have come, I would have died for sure!" she squeaked then coughed horribly. "Owchies." she whispered. "What is your name, cause one day since you helped me I'll help you two!" she mewed. "Then maybe we could be friends?" she finished. She lifted her head to the sky as the sun went over a mountain in the distance.

"Thank you both! I will help you out later...I promise!" Brightsoul looked to Jaypaw then to Tornadoalley. She dipped her head respectfully. She pricked her ears. Wow I finally have some friends, she thought cheerfully.

"Here! I help too." Brightsoul mewed as she wrapped her front paws on the same bar. It burnt her small, red paws. She ignored it, and pulled backwards. It made a low creak then it popped out of place. It hit the ground, and the small kit leaped out of the gap. She landed four mouse-lengths in front of Dragonkit. "Thank you SO much! I might have been killed if you had not come! I will help you like that one day too! What is your name? Maybe we can be friends?" she hoped.

"Oh....okay." Brightsoul mewed, and looked down to the gash in her throat. She winced at the sight of it. Blood was welling out of the wound, and staining her already red fur.

The Trapped Kit. (NEED OTHER PEOPLE!!!)

A small, rouge kit named Brightsoul was wandering the forest one cool morning. She looked around slowly, her ears pricked. She tilted her head to the sky, and blinked as a ray of sun cascaded into her vivid blue eyes. She shook her head, as if trying to wash the sunlight away from her eyes. A large, bulky shape leaped out from a cave behind her. She whipped around, and her eyes locked with a pair of large, yellow eyes. "DOG!!" she screeched, and turned around. She fled until she was trapped by a large boulder blocking her path. She turned around, and backed up against the large rock. She panted hard. She scanned the dusty clearing for an escape route. She found a small gap under a bramble bush. She raced to it, and wriggled underneath. She backed under, the thorns scrapping her tabby pelt. She felt something hard hit her back. She stole a glance over her shoulder, a rock was blocking her way. She was in between a rock and a dog.She lay down, and started to weep. "SOMEONE HELP ME!! PLEASE!! I'm trapped!" she yowled, though she was sure she was going to die.

Brightsoul smiled warmly. "READY!!" she yolwed. "One second! I'll get him to you!" she mewed then scratched the dog's nose with a well aimed blow. It whimpered, and whipped around.

Brightsoul watched with intent as a large group of kits ran past her. She turned, and streaked over to them. She matched her pace with the kit in the front. "Hey, what are you guys running from?" she asked careful to keep her voice down in case they were trying to hide from someone, or something.

"Brightsoul! Ohh! Hi to you too!" Brightsoul meowed as she followed Dragonkit into a clearing where several other cats were all eating and talking together. The breeze fluffed her fur, and she wanted to run through the glorious weather. She looked around the clearing at the other cats.

"Sure...I guess I will come too." Brightsoul whispered shyly. "I've never really interacted with other kits before." she whispered, a little embarrassed. She loved the feeling of the grass pounding under her small paws. She leaped into the muddy water, and grimaced. "This water smells horrid!" she spat. She leaped out of the puddle.

A black she-cat with one blue eye and one green named Insanity strode gracefully along a winding grass path through a cliff. A small giggling stream flowed out next to the path. She stopped and took a drink from the cool water. She began to walk again, but a little slower than before. She was going to take her time, considering it was such a nice day. "I hope that someone will join me on this quest. That would be nice; to share this journey with someone else...." her voice trailed off into the distance, where it was drowned out by a mocking bird's call. She shook her head, as if trying to shake the bird's sounds out of her ears. A small cave's shadows fell over her. She looked into the cave. "Empty." she whispered once she had checked the scent. She walked inside.
