Bluecloud quickly set up a moss nest next to a pool I water. She raced to the back of her den and grabbed a wod of cobwebs and comfrey roots. She still wasn't sure what injuries the apprentice had so she just had to wait until she was in her paws.
Shadowfur saw his sister frantic in her den and raced over, "hey, did anything happen?" he asked, looking around.
-
Yeah you can do it!
-
Bluecloud took a deep breath and turned to Shadowfur, "Frostpaw got injured," she said, sitting down. "Can you go out and see of you can help get her in?" Bluecloud was very worried about her apprentice. What if she had reacted faster. Maybe she would have been spared from injuries. She sighed softly and prodded the moss nest. She always did this, putting herself down and blaming herself for accidents.
Shadowfur nodded, "Of course, Bluecloud." He trotted out of his sister's dem and strolled up to the group of cats that he knew must have been around Frostpaw. He pushed past an orange cat and sighed. "Bluecloud is ready to take Frostpaw," he meowed, ignoring the fact the cats were already in a conversation. "I can help carry her to the den." The large black cat averted his gaze from the other cats, keeping eye contact with the ground or just behind the cats opposite of his heads.

I just did the ALS ice bucket challenge ☆*:.。. o(≧▽≦)o .。.:*☆

Shadowfur gently set Frostpaw's head and upper body notok the moss bedding and let go of her scruff. He stepped back and looked to his sister for that look that he knew meant she needed help but that never happened.
Bluecloud leaned over her apprentice after she was stretch out in the moss.
(What should her injuries be? She's not my charrie so I don't think I should decide what's wrong with her)

stinks. IT WAS SO FREAKING COLD
-
HI SORRY! i was in a car for 12 hours!!
Shadowfur nodded and followed Talltail. He had been cooped up in the camp for all of yesterday and today so he was itching to get out and do something. When he reached Talltail he sat down and waited with her until Redfury showed up.
Bluecloud smiled at her apprentice, "Everything will be fine," she muttered, very softly to Frostpaw. The light gray tabby nipped open the cobwebs and cut off a long strand and wrapped it gently around the she-cat's right leg. It was bleeding heavily and she needed to act quickly so there was no more damage added from blood-loss. Bluecloud examined the small cat closely and noticed her shoulder was in an awkard position and she knew something pretty bad was up. "Hmm... is it dislocated?" she mumble softly, to herself. The previous medicine cat had died just before she had finished all of her training so there were at least two or three injuries that she was still unable to recognize immediately and treat with the least pain as possible.
-
Bluecloud quickly ran to the back of her den and collected a couple poppy seeds in a leaf. I'll give these to her the next time she wakes up she thought to herself. The she-cat examined the other's shoulder closer. It wasn't bleeding anymore which is good so she used a leaf to get rid of the remaining blood that had lingered. She winced slightly at the shape of her shoulder blade. Some fur was ripped off in chunks and the skin underneath was purple. She frowned at the position and the protruding bones. It was severely broken. Probably in a couple places. Bluecloud sat down and started chewing the comfrey root into a poultice before rubbing it gently onto Frostpaw's shoulder. She made sure to put a couple catchweed burrs where the poultice was so it wouldn't rub off.
-
Well yeah, but it was a lot colder than i EXPECTED
-
Bluecloud noticed Frostpaw waking up and she set a couple poppy seeds on a leaf in front of her, "Lick these up so you don't keep waking up, OK?" She smiled and creased her brow, thinking of what else to do for her.
-
plus its not like you're submerged in it...
-
Shadowfur followed after Talltail looking around, "There hasn't been much conflict between the clans lately," The large tom-cat said, quickening his pace to walk beside the Deputy. "
-
Shadowfur looked around, making sure to be cautious.
-
Shadowfur sighed, "Can i try to catch something, Talltail?" The forest was lively with prey that could be caught and the freshkill pile hadn't seemed to gotten much bigger in a couple days.
-
-
Shadowfur nodded in thanks and scurried off the patrols path. He took a deep breath in and the warm smell of mice and birds trickled into his nose. He breathed out his mouth and noticed a small sparrow picking roughly at the ground. He grinned and stretched out into a crouch and slowly approached the bird. He closed his eyes and black mist slowly started to come into existence around the bird. He could see through the thick gray air noticed the small animal panic. It was about to call out a warning before Shadowfur pounced, his tongue dangling out the side of his mouth. He crushed the bird and sank his teeth into the tender flesh that was the neck of his prey. He grinned at his work and the mist slowly started to evaporate.
-
Ugh. i start school next week and I'm definitely not excited.
-
Bluecloud sighed, she would have to try harder to get Frostpaw to eat the seeds next time. She looked back at the apprentice's shoulder. It's not swelling so that's good she thought, walking to the back of her den to get more cobwebs.
-
Bluecloud's ears twitched and she raced back to Frostpaw, dropping the cobwebs roughly. She picked up the seeds and the leaf that carried them and gently rested it to the cat's lips and tipped it, "Come on just swallow," she muttered to Frostpaw, tipping the leaf up more.
