Moonshimmer ate half of her fish very delicately and the other half she devoured in a few famished bites. Moonshimmer licked her lips and said, "I didn't realize I was that hungry."

Flowerkit didn't need to wait for Rabbitkit's answer. "Whatever. I'm going to wait for Deertail's kits before we go. I hope that they're born today!"

"I'm a cat of water. Do you like to fish?" Lady unsheathed her claws. "If you don't know how to catch a fish larger than yourself, I could teach you how." She said eagerly.

Moonshimmer buried her fish bones and curled up beside Sandstar.

Moonshimmer opened one eye when she felt Brackenkit squirming in his sleep. She turned around and gently wrapped a paw over the wriggling kit.
