"Yeah, sure." Rock shrugged as he replied to Degree. "Think just us two is fine for a patrol or you wanna take another just in case?"

I put Kine from the North because there's no team from the North yet. But if you'd prefer another team or position for him that's fine by me.

Kine was sitting with his back against a building while he sharpened his knife blade.
Steve yawned as he stood next to his friend. The technician kicked at a stone, bored. The leader had been killed in a previous mission and the team couldn't head out again until a new person was found to fill that position. So he and Kine didn't have much to do but train and patrol.

Kine held his blade up to the light for inspection. He decided it was sharp enough to work properly again and sheathed the knife. He leaned back against the wall and watched Steve kick the rock around.
Steven continued to hit the rock with his foot, seeing how far it went each time. He scowled as his latest kick only sent the rock a few feet, his other attempts had all gone farther.

Zach shrugged. "What makes you think we are?" He asked.

Kine eventually stood up and turned to Steven. "Lets have a contest, see who can kick the farthest." He suggested to his friend.
"Alright, best out of ten." Steven agreed.
"Make it twenty, ten wont take very long and it's not like we have anything else to do." Kine shrugged.
"Deal." Steve replied as Kine scratched a line in the dirt road as the starting point. Steven brought the rock back to this line and placed it there. He kicked at it, sending the rock flying. He then ran off to where it landed and made a mark in the ground before tossing the rock to Kine.

"Um..." Zachary looked towards Riley. Rike obviously knew so he decided there was no harm in stating it. "Yeah, we were following you." He admitted, shrugging.

"Wait," Zachary protested. "What's this higher force?"

Kine kicked at the rock then ran to check where it had landed. "I won that round." He called over to Steve, who nodded and crouched down on the dirt road. He drew two horizontal lines and put a 'K' above one, a 'S' above the other. Then he made a shorter vertical line under the one labeled 'K'.
Steven got up and attempted to catch the rock as Kine threw it back to him. He missed as usual. As he turned to get the rock he noticed Avian. "Hey Avian, do you want to join in?" Steve asked.

Kine glanced over at Avian. "You sure?" He asked as Steven kicked at the rock again.
Steve ran out to check the distance of his latest shot and grinned as he noticed that the rock had gone farther this time. He scratched a mark in the dirt and picked up the rock, walking back to Kine.
Kine took the rock from Steve and dropped it on the starting line. He paused and waited for Avian to respond before he kicked so he didn't miss the reply.

Zachary frowned. "Hey, have you ever heard of 'stranger danger'?" He asked, half-way joking. Then he paused, thinking. "Can I meet this guy?" He asked even though Rike would probably say no.

OOC: A rock

IC: Kine nodded to Avian then turned his attention back to the rock. He kicked at it and then ran after it to mark his spot. "I beat you this round too." He called back to Steve.
Steve nodded to him and drew another mark under the line marked 'K'.
Kine started to throw the rock back to Steve but thought better of it and walked back before handing the rock to his friend. He remembered that Steve wasn't the best at catching items.

Zachary hesitated, looking over to Riley, wondering what she thought about this. "Well... can you tell me a bit more about this guy?" He asked Rike. Zach was still curious but wasn't too sure what he was getting into.

Steve took the rock from Kine, grinning. He dropped it onto the ground and nudged it with the tip of his boot so it was on the starting line. He kicked at it and then shielded his eyes against the sun as he waited to see how far it went.
