Bluecinder flicked her ears forward, tail still wrapped firmly around her fore paws. However, once a moth fluttered before her nose she loosened her muscles and sat up on her rump. Her fore paws flashed out to bat at the fluttering bug, cerulean eyes entranced.

Bluecinder chased her moth merrily, laughter bubbling from her maw. The snowshoe skidded to a halt and dipped her head to Tornmask, not wanting to get too zealous and accidentally step on him. "Hey Tornmask!" she laughed, still in seemingly bright spirits.

Twistedpaw slunk from the apprentice's den, jade eyes looking to no one as he settled down. The former rogue lay down his head and stared at the camp with brooding eyes.

"What?" Tornmask replied, smiling for once. The crow-colored tom stood, flicking his ears as he waited for Bluecinder to reply.

Bluecinder had to think for a moment. She didn't really have a reason in talking to the other, it was just something she had done on a whim. "Ah, nothing really!" She admitted with a laugh. "Just saying hello. How're you doing?"

Twistedpaw slowly closed his eyes, the camp fading to black as he dozed in a state between awake and sleep.

"Oh, I'm glad." The snowshoe purred, tail swaying at her heels. "I hope the rest of the clan gets to feeling better, too." She added with the slightest of sighs. She turned to face her apprentice with a warm smile, then. "Oh, I suppose that's okay." She was a bit hesitant with the she limping, but light training surely wouldn't hurt.

Twistedpaw peeked open an eye as he heard his name.

Bluecinder gave a little giggle and lightly swatted her apprentice's ear. "Okay, okay. C'mon, you." She ordered as she began to trot toward the camp exit. "See ya later!" She recalled to say over her shoulder to Tornmask, not wanting to seem rude by just walking away.

As Bluecinder came to a halt she turned to her apprentice. The snowshoe's expression was stern, which was a rarity and meant to be taken seriously. "Dawnpaw. I know you want to train but you must let me know if the pain gets worse. If you push yourself too hard then your injury will only get worse. If this happens, you will be sent to the medicine cat and probably not be allowed to train or hunt or fight for the clan for some time. You will be made to stay in camp and eat the prey all of the others bring back. Do you understand?" it was rare for Bluecinder to be so serious, but she wanted to convey to her apprentice the situation. She knew Apprentices to stubbornly push on despite injuries but this was wreck less and would do more harm than good.

Twistedpaw sighed and shoved himself to all fours, lumbering over to the cat who called his name. "Hm?" the loner tom questioned.

Bluecinder sighed a little but smiled at the apprentice's will. "Alright, alright. Well, what do you want to do today? You know your limits better than I."

Twistedpaw nodded and set off, tail at his heels.

Bluecinder thought for a moment. "I suppose there are multiple ways to do this. Since you're smaller, I'd try getting under a larger opponent and sweeping their legs out from under them. They may not always fall, but they will be thrown off balance. You have to be quick and get out before they crush you. Of you can do this, you may be able to twist around and slam into them, thus knocking them off their paws."

The snowshoe smiled brilliantly. "I think that would be a good idea. Responsibility is a great trait to have, Dawnpaw, it's a trait of a warrior." She purred while taking a light swat at the younger she's ears. "Now c'mon, let's get back to camp."

Twistedpaw brushed into camp with a vole in his jaws, he dropped it on the fresh kill pile and plucked out a mouse for himself. He sauntered away and settled down with the rodent between his paws, slowly beginning to gnaw at it whilst watching the camp with his guarded gaze.

Bluecinder ran her tail across her apprentice's back, noting the rapid rise and fall of her figure. "Dawnpaw, I want you to eat and then rest for a while. Take it easy so you can heal." The snowshoe murmured gently.

Twistedpaw slept in the apprentice's den, the former rogue tom curled up with his tail rested over his muzzle.

Bluecinder stared at the deputy as he ran about, her ears flicking back. "Easy here, plenty of queens have given birth before. Chill out before you get everyone else, especially the one delivering said kits, stirred up." It was one of her rarer more serious moments. But he really did need to calm.
