"Pinchers? I once had trouble with them. They wouldn't dare cross me again, if they knew it was me." Rex said, acting confident.

Rex walks in front of Liara, charging up an attack. Red Eyes and Blue Eyes can't understand him, but the look on Rex's face plainly says "Back off."
-
"Take this!" Rex growled at the charizard, using close combat on the fire-type. He jumped back, but his leg injury prevented him from landing correctly. He stumbled, and fell to a knee in pain.
-
"Ugh... Where'd you three come from? Not like I'm rejecting the help. The name's Rex." He says, getting shakily to his feet. Rex prepares another aura sphere, getting ready to attack once again. He glances back at Liara, and is confused. "Liara, I thought your only pokemon was Cross, and you didn't have his pokeball on you."
-
"I'ts no problem, Liara. If I may ask, Rayquaza, I'll fly with Liara on your back. I promised to protect her, after all." He winced as he walked foward, but dismissed any true pain. "Don't worry about me. we just need to get you to the next lake so you can help save the others!"
(With me)
They... were performing tests, it seemed. The scientists attatched wires to my head, reading the signals that went through my brain. "Well, aren't you a lucky one. You've been selected for your talents for something... special." The man with the blue curl said. I had come to learn his name as Colress.
"What... would that be..?" I managed to weakly ask.
"To be the first human to go through the shadow process." He said with an evil grin. -
"Alright." Rex said, feeling the effects of the medicine. He climbed foward on Rayquaza until he was next to Liara. "Don't worry," he said. "Everything will be fine." Rex leaned foward and hugged the human girl, trying to comfort her.
(At the research lab...)
"Astounding, Colress! He's actually surviving it!" I heard a voice say. and I barely heard it; I was feeling an immense amount of pain. The procedure had taken most of my strength, and I was recovering what I could. At an alarminly fast rate.
"Yes, grunt." Colress said. "He is ten times as fast as Latios, stronger than Groudon and Mewtwo combined! I'd even dare say he is even more powerful than Arceus himself!" Darkness flashed before my eyes. My friends, all except Rex, were put throught he same procedure. They were given to me, five shadow pokemon for the first shadow trainer. A weavile was also made into a shadow creature, and made my sixth.
"What are your orders, Master Colress?" I say, without meaning to. It's like I'm watching what's going on through someone else's eyes; I had no control over my actions.
"Find the girl known as Liara. Our sources tell us she's in Sinnoh, headed for the Lake Guardians. You will stop her and bring her here."
"Understood." -
"Which one will you head to first, Liara?" Rex asked. "We need to visit the Lakes of Acuity and Valor."
(With me)
I looked down at my new body. It seemed that my clothes were now part of me, and everything was either pearl white or midnight purple. My pokemon had taken on a similar color pattern, and I had guessed my eyes were red because thiers were.
I sat on a rock on the Valor Lakefront, waiting for the arrival of the girl I was tasked with retrieving. -
"Acuity? Great, glad we're getting that one out of the way first." Rex shuddered. "I hate cold places."
OOC: Heal pokemon and humans? Cool, I was wondering how I was going to turn back to normal. but that doesn't mean I get turned back immediately, just one or two of my pokemon first.
-
Rex took a fighting stance. "Liara, finish your buisness with Uxie, I don't know how long the others and I can hold them off!" Rex used bone rush on the opposing steelix, followed by dark pulse on the scizor.
-
Rex blinked twice, and realizing he was out of danger, turned away, facing some bushes. "Uxie, that was kind of... sudden... teleportation makes me sick..." His body shuddered a few times. "Ugh, Liara, everyone else, just give me a minute... I think I'm going to lose my lunch..."
-
"Rayquaza, calm yourself!" Rex shouted, stirring from where he sat. "A revered legendary pokemon like yourself should not act in such a manner, especially towards a mythical one!" He stood in between the floating Rayquaza and Deoxys, who was on the ground.
-
"Well, we can't just have her do that, now can we?" A voice stated from the surrounding forest. I emerged, in my shadow-trainer form, for all to see. my red eyes flashed, and a smile took over my face. "Liara, It's taken me forever to find you..." I say, throwing out a pokeball. "Kiara, use hypnosis."
-
"Why do you resist, Liara? Shouldn't you trust me, your friend?" Then, at Rex, "Why do you resist as well, old friend? You should rejoin me." I tossed a black pokeball at Rex, to try to re-catch him.
Rex dodged, ant spat in a fury, "You're not the Zack I know. You're a monster."
"Such disloyalty, my friend. No matter; Kiara, use psywave on both of them." -
"More humans with with powers..." I muttered, watvhing the events unfold. After Plasma and N retreated, I stepped forward and grabbed Deoxys by the shoulders. Before anyone could react, Deoxys was out cold. "That's better. no annoying Mythics getting in the way."
-
(Back at, well, wherever the fight was...)
"Hmm... why do you run, Liara? I seek only peace, I searched only for your companionship..." I tossed a pokeball out, calling Ace to the world. "Fly me back to Lake Valor. I believes we'll find her there." -
I glided over the area on Ace's back, looking down. I saw a collection of pokemon sitting around, guarding the entrance, one of which was Rex. "Weavile, go down there and entertain them. You too, Joshua." I said, throwing thier pokeballs out into the air. the pokemon landed in front of the guards, and got into battle poses. The Weavile used dark pulse on Rex, while Joshua used incinerate to nail every enemy in a wall of flame.
-
"Kiara, teleport me." I said, while Giratina and the others were distacted. I found myself and her inside the cave's entrance, barely escaping notice from the pokemon and humans outside. Ace crashed into the ground to cause more of a riot, while I walked farther into the cave with Kiara.
-
I walked down the path in the cave, spotting a light up ahead. The light came from a small pool of water, in front of which I saw Liara talking to Uxie and Azelf. (OOC: I'm not sure if Mespirit is there.)
"Liara, please," I cry out, when I near them. "Just come with me. We're friends, are we not?" -
"And just who might you be? Why do you tell me to attack my friend?" I ask, Colress only telling me the bare minimum, only to get Liara to follow me. He never said anything about allies. "Liara, please. I only want to protect you." I hold out my arm, as an offering of peace. "I only attacked the pokemon before because they attacked first. they threatened me, and all I want is your trust, Liara."
-
"Liara, what are you doing?" I screamed as a pain flew through me, as if my skin was being ripped off. "Augh! Kiara, do something!" The pokemon in question launched a magical leaf at Uxie, and since nothing can dodge that move, it hit, breaking the circle and stopping the process. "Liara, Why would you hurt me, of all people?"
