(Ha) Mosskit wailed. "I'm almost six moons! I'll be apprenticed tomorrow at sunhigh!"

"Oh Raven! Can't you just imagine? I'll be the best apprentice ever!" The little kit boasted.

Sunblaze walked over. Hey there my little warr- a howling interrupted her as she looked behind her. Every hair on her pelt rose as she saw the gang of rogues that had attempted to murder her when she was an apprentice. She yowled to daisy,an elder, to take Mosskit to the nursery. She then charged herself at the closest one.

Sunblaze was clawed across the muzzle. She batted at his belly blindly. She sunk her teeth into his throat. She felt herself being lifted off the Tom. It was the she-cat who had carried her trying to kill her. The she-cat recognized her and sunk her teeth into her throat. Sunblaze struggled. She suddenly heard her name. It was a soft whisper. No! I have a kit she pleaded. I can't go to StarClan!

As Raven fought the other cats Rustfur dragged his daughter to Leafpelt' s den. He stood guard at the entrance. Sunblaze thought, what did these cats want her for?

"She is hanging on. I think she will make it." A white cat stalked into the den. It was whiteheart the cat from her dream at the Moonstone!

Sunblaze struggled to get up to attack him but Leafpelt held her down.

Sunblaze stopped struggling and let Leafpelt check her. Whiteheart smirked. Sunblaze leaned close to Raven. The dream was from StarClan, they don't lie.

"Oh. He smirked. I didn't know seeing you daughter was such a problem."

He growled, looked at Sunblaze, then stalked out of the den.

Sunblaze nuzzled Dashclaw as he came and curled protectively around her. "I heard about your dream." He said looking through hating eyes at Whiteheart.

"I'm fine." She said. "No. Leafpelt interrupted. Get her a squirrel." She said flicking her tail at Sunblaze' s ribs.

Sunblaze watched her mother go. Dashclaw went to go take care of Mosskit and Leafpelt went to go talk to Ruststar. Sunblaze heard rustling behind the den and saw Whiteheart come in. He sunk his claws into her shoulder, holding his tail over her muzzle, and bent down to her ear. I'm going to kill you. I'm going to make your mother watch as you struggle for breath under the water. She tried desprately to yowl as whiteheart ripped a piece of flesh from her. He spit it out. That was just an example of what i'm going to do. He stood over her, his mouth bloody. He lunged at her leg. She scratched him across the muzzle and he sunk his claws in even further.

Sunblaze bit into his shoulder. He still wouldn't let go. She called out again hoping someone would hear her.

He tore at her stomach and pounced on Sunblaze in her attempt to go get help. She yowled as an unfamiliar she-cat came and started dragging her away. "Yes! Whiteheart yowled. Take her away, far away!" He held Raven back.

Rustfur heard his mates call and pulled Whiteheart off of her.

Sunblaze watched her mother helplessly trying to yell. She felt brambles tugging at her fur and knew she was being dragged out of camp. Another she-cat came and picked up her hindquarters. They finally stopped to rest and shoved her in an old badger burrow. She yowled painfully as she fell into a wider colder place. They crawled in and were soon asleep. She tried inching out of the burrow and got to the top. She stopped to rest. She dragged herself a mile before she stopped to rest again. She knew she couldn't get up again.

Sunblaze looked to see the two she-cat's coming towards her. She knew this was the end.

She tried to stand, shaking she growled but fell back on her side.

She growled a few words. That was all it took. They lunged at her.

Sunblaze got up and bit the hind leg of her mother's attacker. She dragged her off and bit her throat. Then from behind her she was shoved and fell. She was rolling in blackness. She looked up to see Whiteheart. No. She thought. But it was too late. He shoved her head under water.
