Brackenscar sat beside Dovepaw and watched the kits.

"You and the kits need to get some rest. I will build a den for you if you would like?" Brackenscar meowed kindly.

Brackenscar padded to the nearest tree and collected supplies for the den. He ran back to where Dovepaw, Grasspaw and the kits were. "Where would you like you den?" he asked Dovepaw.

Brackenscar walked up to him, "Are you ready for training?" he asked.

Brackenscar looked at the apprentice. He knew he had an apprentice that was eager to learn. "Okay." he meowed "Let's go to the clearing."

Brackenscar spotted a nice area by a tree. He went to inspect it, and it was an empty hollow in the base of the tree. He use the supplies he had gathered and made a nice den for Dovepaw and her kits. "Dovepaw the den is ready." he meowed as he padded up to them. "Do you need help getting to the den?" he asked.

Brackenscar let Dovepaw lean on him as he picked up Lilykit and helped Fallenkit walk towards the den. "Here we are." he meowed as they entered the entrance of the den. He was very fond of Dovepaw and her kits. He pet the two kits he had in the nest.

He smiled back at her "It's okay you'll know when your heart is ready."

"Do you need anything to eat?" he asked.

"Okay." he smiled.

Brackenscar left the den to get some more moss. He came back and made another nest "There Grasspaw, you seem tired." he meowed.

Brackenscar laid down beside Dovepaw to keep her warm.

He licked her cheek and smiled "You should get some rest." he purred.
