OOC: Can I get a bit of a recap, so I can figure out how to throw Marlow in? Thanks.

Marlow walked a bit behind the group of girls in front of her, her heavy black boots clunking in the grass. She sighed, flicking her faded magenta hair from her face with a flick of her hand. Making it to the lounge, she sat in one of the dingy, skin colored plastic chairs, almost falling into it. She noticed three girls, one of which she knew as Kody, the leader of The Black Widows. 'Heh.' She thought, noting the uncomfortable look on her face, and a mook of wanting in her eyes. She noticed the flicks of the gang leader's eyes toward a blonde's lips, which were smeared in lipgloss. She laughed, a little too loudly, before quieting herself, playing it off as a cough.

Of course! I originally made Flameskip to be a medicine cat anyway. That'd be awesome for him, s he's soft of a non-violent cat.

Am I able to apply as a clan cat? I have a loner set up, but I'd also love to add to the clan. Both of my cats are male. If not, I'll make them traveling brothers.
-

- |Name|: Crow
- |GENDER|: Male
- |AGE|: 18 moons
- |RANK|: Loner
- |APPEARANCE|: As a maine coon mix, Crow stands taller than the average cat, with a strong muscular structure under his thick black fur, which can appear dark brown in the sunlight. His eyes are deep yellow, almost amber in colour. His ears are torn, and one scar crosses the bridge of his nose.
- |PERSONALITY|:Crow is level-headed, easy on his paws, and charismatic. He often speaks to friendly clan cats when he can, as he yearns for contact. He is a storyteller, and will often tell stories of his past to those willing to listen. While cat-smart, and able to think up a coherent thought, Crow isn't the best with solving issues on demand, and often finds himself stuck in odd situations because of it. He is a decent fighter, a phenominal hunter, and not the best swimmer, due to his thick coat.
- |HISTORY|: Born to Dawnfeather, a small gray she-cat living in the time of Skystar, and Hawk, a large, storm gray maine coon and former kittypet, Crow learned the ways of the forest quickly. He learned to hunt before he turned four moons old, and was able to survive on his own at six moons. His mother kept he and his brother, Smoke, a secret from the clan for their first moons of life, fearful of how they would react to two half-clan kits. Crow found himself drawn to the forest, and the freedom it promised, while his brother, Smoke, became fixated on the stories of brave warriors, loyal to their clan. Dawnfeather eventually dissapeared, shortly after the dissapearance of Skystar, leaving her seven moon old kittens to fend for themselves in the forest.
-
|KIN|:
Dawnfeather(mother), Hawk(father), Smoke(brother) - |MATE/CRUSH|: None/Open for development.
- |KITS|: None
- |OTHER|: I am the prettiest kitty, mind you.
-
Alright, I will add my two boys as loners then. Is it possible for one to eventually join the clan?
-
- |RANK|: Loner
- |APPEARANCE|: A large, muscular, black smoke maine coon mix, with piercing amber eyes. His ears are shredded, and many scars split his fur, the most prominent being a thick scar under his jaw.
- |PERSONALITY|: Smoke is an intimidating cat, to say the least. He is quiet, yet harsh, and often talks for his brother in tough situations. He has the ability to think quickly, and often foxes his way out of problems, all the while protecting his brother. He is a phenominal fighter, leading to his many scars, an ok hunter, and a decent swimmer, as his powerful muscles are able to propel him through water.
- |HISTORY|: Born to Dawnfeather and Hawk, Smoke grew up with his brother, Crow outside of the clan, hidden in a small hollow. The two are almost inseperable due to this, and are never far from one another. Smoke, while only seconds older than his brother, often feels the need to protect his sibling, and finds himself in tough situations because of it. His mother taught him to fight first, as he is signifigantly larger than his brother, and Dawnfeather was able to see him as a protecter because of it. He holds a distain for his father, Hawk, who abandoned his mother when he found she was pregnant, leaving her to fend for her kits on her own. When their mother dissapeared, Smoke and his brother were only seven moons old, and the two had to fend for themselves in the forest, morphing Smoke into the protecter he has become.
-
|KIN|:
Dawnfeather(mother), Hawk(father), Crow(brother) - |MATE/CRUSH|: None/Snowpaw
- |KITS|: None
- |OTHER|:The angriest kitty, who does not think he is pretty.

Crow:
Crow let out a yawn and stretched his legs which struck out from the rock he was laying on. "When are we going to move? I'm starving." He groaned, flicking an ear, his yellow gaze fixed on his brother, who sat not far away.
Smoke:
The dark coloured tom let out a huff, and stood, licking his paw. "We can go now, if you'd stop lounging around." He meowed, turning to gaze at his brother. The tom swished his fluffy tail through the air, standing expectantly.
Wow, having loners is odd. They just interact with eachother, like silly brothers.
-
I can volunteer either Smoke(preferably, I like him more, and he's more mature) or his brother Crow for a plotline. They're loners.

Gender:

Sexuality:
Heterosexual
Rank:
Deputy
Appearance:
Smokethorn is a large, muscular black smoke maine coon mix, with sleek, soft fur. He sports many scars under his thick coat, the most noticable being a scar across the bridge of his nose, and another thick scar beneath his jaw, crossing his throat. He is missing two toes on his front left foot, and a deep, piercing amber eyes, the colour of dark honey.
History:
Smokethorn and his brother, Crowwatcher, were born to an unobservant, aloof mother, Brightheather, and a strong, battle-hungry father, Darkstone. As kits, Smokethorn was taught to protect his brother, Crowwatcher, by his father, as he was the larger of the two, and more like his father than his mother. As an apprentice, Smokethorn was taught battle skills by his mentor, Pinenose, a friend of his father, who, through the tom, was persuaded into teaching Smokethorn how to kill. As he grew seperate from his brother, Smokethorn grew into a strong, resilient cat, who was quick to protect any cat in danger. Just after their warrior ceremony, Darkstone was killed in a battle with another clan. The old tom had stepped too far out of line, and tried to fight to harshly, resulting in his death at the paws of a younger, stronger cat. Smokethorn was left to console his mother, Brightheather, who became depressed after her mate's death, forgetting to eat, and staying in the elder's den, where she had been retired to due to her condition. While Smokethorn stayed by his mother's side, grooming her, and ensuring she got exercise, Crowwatcher hunted for his mother, and kept Smokethorn company during his time protecting his mother. Eventually, Brightheather caught whitecough during leafbare, and refused treatment, passing as the sickness worsened. After her death, Smokethorn focused his attentions toward his brother and his clan, tumbling headfirst into the challenge of protecting those he cared for.
Personality
Smokethorn is intimidating in appearance, which often leads one to think he is a negative, or aggressive cat. However, the large tom is level-headed, and normally more quiet than his brother, unless angry. He is a quick thinker, able to fox his way out of issues quickly. Extremely protective of those he loves, Smokethorn can sometimes become aggresive when protecting those he cares for, but only in their best interest. He is a secret romantic, often pushing down such feelings to stop himself from appearing weak.

Sunlight streamed through the early-morning mist on the mountain-top, brightening the earth below. Smokepaw yawned, his paws flattening dew-laden strands of grass as he followed Pinenose toward the training hollow. Open fields gave way to thin trees and short shrubs as the terrain changed, and the two cats trekked into the forest. Pinenose took a sharp turn, his dark brown tail swishing behind him. Smokepaw's amber gaze snapped toward the dark brown warrior in suprise. Maybe they weren't heading for the training hollow. "I thought we were training with the other apprentices today?" Smokepaw asked, quickening his pace to fall in beside his mentor. The dark brown tom huffed, and turned his head, his green eyes glaring down at the young cat. "No, Smokepaw. Your father told me to take you to the stream. He wants to practice some moves with you." He meowed sternly, the tip of his nose twitching. The dark apprentice sighed, falling behind his mentor quickly. "Every time. When will I ever learn with the others?" Smokepaw thought, sighing outwardly. He could hear the water bubbling in the stream as the forest thickened, shrubs giving way to bushes with dark berries, and thin birch trees giving way to larger oaks, pines, and birches. Smokepaw's ears flicked, and he raised his head, jaw parting as he scented the air. His father's unmistakable scent flooded his senses over the scents of water, earth, and moss, and his pace further slowed. Ahead of Pinenose, Darkstone sat, his back turned toward the approaching cats, his long, dark gray fur lightened by the streams of sunlight breaking through the leaf-cover above. "Pinenose, Smokepaw, you've made it. About time." The large tom meowed, standing and turning, his plume-like tail sweeping over the pebbley shore. His dark honey gaze found his son, and he smiled softly, padding past Pinenose to lick Smokepaw's ear in greeting. "What are we learning today?" Smokepaw asked, feigning interest. Darkstone let out a low purr, and turned, padding back toward the stream. "Today, I'm going to teach you how to attack a cat while swimming. If you are able to use the water to your advantage, you can easily take down an inexpirienced cat." Pinenose sat on a large, flat rock, watching the two as Darkstone led his son toward the stream. Smokepaw's amber gaze fell on the water, and his ears flattened. "I've never been taught to swim." He meowed, his voice shaking ever so slightly. Darkstone turned, his honey coloured eyes narrowing. "Fine. We learn to swim." He growled, his tone not hiding his clear annoyance. Smokepaw's claws slid out, and he let out a low, tiny growl, not looking forward to the freezing water.
Other:
My favourite rule is that on character creation. I see too many characters nowadays that are either very perfect and polished, one of those that can do no wrong, and are beautiful and fantastic at everything. I find that every character should have their faults, and that helps build story.

Crowwatcher is a sleek, black maine coon mix, with yellow-green eyes. He is smaller than his brother, with thicker, puffier fur. He has torn ears, and a large muzzle, with fangs that ever so slightly overlap his jaw, and stick out of his upper jaw. He has a large, jagged scar on his back right leg from falling from a tree as an apprentice.
History:
Crowwatcher and his brother, Smokethorn, were born to Brightheather and Darkstone, two parents with vastly different personalities. Darkstone mainly cared for Smokethorn, and ignored Crowwatcher due to his small size, leaving the tom to become closer to his mother, who would often let him run about, leaving other clanmates to care for the young cat. As an apprentice, Crowwatcher was taught like every other cat, and excelled in climbing and hunting, due to his smaller size. He was extremely close to his mentor, Smallstep, who served as a surrogate mother throughout his apprenticeship. When made a warrior, Crowwatcher's father was killed in battle. His mother fell into a depression, and Crowwatcher caught her prey each day, leaving the camp early in the morning, and returning with food for her. He would leave again twice throughout the day, once at sunhigh, and once at dusk, to catch food for Brightheather, before her death due to whitecough, which seperated him from his clan. After his mother's death, Crowwatcher mingled with the clan, his charismatic personality shining through.
Personality
Crowwatcher is extremely observant of others, and can easily tell of something is upsetting another cat. He is charismatic, and like to tell stories and talk to others, if they like to listen. He is strong-willed, and tends to follow his heart rather than listen to others, which often leads his brother to become angry with him. Crowwatcher is affectionate towards others, and can be flirty at times.

Smoke: Padding toward the forest, and out of the little clearing he and his brother called home, Smoke tasted the air, his jaw parting. "I smell the clan cats." He muttered, his ears perking, searching for the faint sounds of pawsteps or rustling. He swished his dark coloured tail through the air, His dark honey coloured eyes scanning the trees.
Crow: Leaping from the rock, Crow stretched his legs out, yawning once more. "Maybe we should speak to them, they might be friendly." He meowed, glancing at his brother once more. The sleek black tom jumped down from the rock, and padded up to the black smoke cat, his tail held high.
Smoke: "No, absolutely not. They'd be more likely to claw our ears off." He meowed, his gaze fixing on his brother, who now stood beside him. "Come on, we've got to go hunt anyway." He took off into the forest, his large paws covering ground quickly. Behind him, Crow kept pace, running just behind his brother's plume-like tail.

Smoke would be good for the whole forbidden romance thing, his loyal personality would bring an interesting trope to the relationship.
-
roach ! That works, I will leave Smokethorn open then. It would make for an interesting issue between the brothers.

Hah, alright. I made both boys 30 moons, they'd be better younger, why not. Gives more options for them, and it would be weird for the deputy to be older than the leader

Might I reserve the second Ambassador spot, as well as one of the medium spots? I have a brother-sister duo I am working on.

CHARACTER HISTORY::
a look into the past...
Kithood- Born to Poppystem, a young torteshell she-cat, and Hollowstep, a black longhair, Darkkit's first memories are surrounded with his father's loving tone. His only other littermate, Patchkit, died at an early age, as the weak kit was born in the middle of leafbare, where food was scarce. Darkhollow does not remember much about his brother, and his parents never mentioned his brother much. As a young kit, Darkhollow's father taught him his first fighting moves, and how to crouch for hunting. Hollowstep held high hopes for his son, willing him to become a better cat than he was. Darkkit grew seperate from his sister, as his father often called on him to teach him the ways of the forest. Darkkit learned his headstrong, battle-ready personality from his father.
Subordinate- Darkhollow was made the subordinate of an older warrior, who taught sternly. He excelled in battle movements from his father's early teaching, and struggled with hunting until the later moons of his teachings. His mentor would often neglect his other training in favour of teaching him how to efficiently fight and kill other cats, as well as larger predators, in hopes he would become one of the clan's best fighters. He obtained his ripped ears through his spars with his mentor, who did not sheathe his claws while teaching Darkpaw, as he believed it would better Darkpaw toward fighting. In his tenth moon of life, his mother Poppystem had another litter of kits, only one of which survived, as her older age produced weak kits. Mallowkit became the center of Darkpaw's life while he was in camp, and he cared for his younger sister, keeping a close eye on her.
Adulthood- At Darkhollow's naming ceremony, his father seemed to be the proudest cat in the clan. His sister, Mallowpaw, still remained a subordinate, and he helped teach her along with her mentor. In his first moons after becoming a warrior, Darkhollow still trained with his father, mastering his skills in fighting, and cementing him as one of the clan's better fighters at a young age. All his training led Darkhollow to become battle hungry, and he often led or took part in patrols toward other clans, in hopes of interference from enemy patrols. During this time, Mallowpaw turned from a subordinate, to a medic subordinate, which better fit her intelligent and caring personality. As Darkhollow grew into an adult, his father, Hollowstep, watched closely over him. Rumors of a stray dog on the fringes of the territory began to trickle through the clan, until a patrol was sent out, led by Hollowstep, and including Darkhollow. The patrol encountered the dog, who was large and aggressive, and led to Darkhollow's neck scar, and his missing toes. During this battle, Hollowstep was gravely injured, and at a young age, Darkhollow carried his dying father back to camp, where the Medics, including Mallowpaw, were unable to save his life. Distraught, Darkhollow began to distance himself from his clan, blaming the lack of battle expirience, and small patrol for his father's death. As he grew older, Darkhollow began to understand that, while his father had been killed, his clan was not at fault, and he once again immersed himself within the clan. As leafbare started, a strain of whitecough took out both Poppystem, Darkhollow's mother, and an ambassador, leading to Darkhollow's position in the clan.

CHARACTER HISTORY::
a look into the past...
Kithood- Born in the middle of leaffall, Mallowkit was the strongest kit of a litter of two. Her mother, Poppystem, was old to have kits, and lost her son, Eaglekit, shortly after his birth, before Mallowkit's eyes had opened. Poppystem became distraught after loosing a second son, and tended to neglect Mallowkit because of it. Due to this, Darkpaw, Mallowkit's brother, both named her, and tended to care for her, along with a queen, who fed her until she was able to eat solid prey. Mallowkit grew up as a quiet, shy kit, and would often stick to herself. She played with Darkpaw, and stuck closely to him when he was in the camp, often waiting for him to return. Her father, Hollowstep, was often too busy with Darkpaw, or out on patrol to tend to Mallowkit, and lacked a place in her life.
Subordinate- Mallowpaw was made a subordinate a month later than normal, as she became sick in her sixth moon of life, and spent much of her time in the medic's den. After becoming a subordinate, Mallowpaw trained under a young warrior for a time, who did not care much for having an subordinate, and often sent her group training with other subordinates. Mallowpaw would often find herself helping the medics of the clan, and was eventually taken in as a medic subordinate. She grew to love it, and would often leave camp on her own to collect herbs. She would tidy the medic den daily, and tended to sick and injured cats with care. Her intelligence allowed her to quickly learn how to care for cats, and quickly and efficiently identify and heal a multitude of problems and wounds. During her training, Darkhollow and her father, Hollowstep, were both injured by a stray dog while on a patrol. Her father, Hollowstep, died before her, and gave her her first lesson in death. She became distraught, and fell headfirst into her work, focusing all her energy into healing those injured on patrol. She helped nurse her brother back to health, and later earned her medic name from her loyalty and attentiveness to the injured cats in the medic den.
Adulthood- In her early days of adulthood, Mallowfern grew even closer to her brother, Darkhollow. He would often accompany her on her travels to find herbs, helping her to bring back a larger stock of herbs to the clan. During a strain of whitecough that spread through the clan in leafbare, Mallowfern helped to heal many cats, but was unable to save one of the abassadors, who was older, and died due to weakened lungs, as well as her mother, who was older as well, and refused help until it was almost too late. She helped bury her mother beneath the Wither Tree, despite her lack of attachment to her mother. During an herb patrol in early leaf-fall, Mallowfern was bitten by a snake, that she feared to be poisionous. She killed the animal, and hurried back to camp, treating her wound, and fearing the worst. She grew sick for a while, but survived the attack, and still holds a scar from the encounter. During her time being sick, Darkhollow often visited her in the medic den, tidying her nest for her, and bringing her fresh fish from the Sapphire Stream. As Mallowfern grew, one of the medics passed, and she fell into a stage of sadness for a time at the loss of one of her close friends and mentors. She grew from this, however, and now works even harder to help the elders of the clans, as well as heal her clanmates.

She likes to keep both the medic's den, the herb stash, and herself extremely organized and cleanly, and will become distraught should things become extremely messy and untidy.
