"Amy, tell us what's wrong," Autumn tried to get her to speak.

Marie followed, curious but silent. She understood that their are somethings that are best kept quiet.

Autumn, who never had reason to keep secrets about her life, kept following. She was determined to help her friend.

"You really shouldn't lie to me," Autumn said suspicious.

"Leave her alone. If she doesn't want to talk, don't make her," Marie said, still ticked off at Autumn.

"Yeah, but talking about it allows your friends to assist any way possible," Autumn said.

"Right. You didn't even have friends until that hedgehog came to your island," Marie snaped.

"How did you know that?" Autumn gasped.

"I have my ways," Marie answered.

"Do you even have friends?" Autumn snapped.

"Of course I do. There's Amy and... and...," Marie said.

"I thought so. Just let us help, Amy," Autumn asked.

"Now look at what you did!" Marie scolded Autumn.

"What I did?!" Autumn asked angerly.

"Why don't you just leave. Your of no assistance," Marie rolled her eyes.

Autumn growled and her eyes tinted with red. Flames covered her fists. Her face showed that she was struggling not to beat the squirrel to a pulp. The flames went out and Autumn left before she caused damage.

"Amy, if you don't want to talk about it, then don't. Don't let people pressure you into speaking about something you don't want to talk about. Sometimes it's better to handle your own problems, just don't make a habit of it, alright?" Marie said.

Marie nodded. "But if you do need someone to talk to, there always will be someone willing to honestly listen," she finished. She gave a friendly smile and walked the other direction from where Autumn stormed off.

Autumn growled in rage. Her eyes faded between light blue and blood red. Her fur kept fading to scarlet and white, fire covered her fists with scarlet and she let out electric discharges with white. The trees and grass started to show burns.

Marie stopped as pictures started to appear in her mind. They were all tainted with flames no one could hope to control. In the middle of it all stood her feline rival. Marie snapped back to reality. She dashed back the direction Autumn stormed off in. "Note to self: Don't upset the pussy cat," she said to herself.

Autumn's eyes faded to purple. Her spirit was unsure whether to give into the rage or to retreat to tranquility. Her ears perked at the sound of someone approaching her. She turned and saw Marie starring at her.

Marie found Autumn. She could senses the anger in her aura. The cat turned to Marie with her purple eyes full of uncertainty. "How pathetic. You got into a small argument and you have a temper tantrum like a three year old. Get a hold of yourself before you burn this entire forest," Marie ordered.

Autumn growled. Her eyes faded to deep red. "No one orders me around. Especially a rat like you," she said. Her voice was dark and full of hatred. Her fur faded to scarlet and a rope of fire came from her fist. She whipped it straight at Marie's head.

Marie ducked and the whip hit the empty air. "This was the worse idea I ever had," Marie said afraid. She ran off into the forest and Autumn followed close behind, ready to attack.

Autumn growled again. "Have it your way. I'll still come out on top. I have all the time in the world," she said before her fur faded to black and she disappeared.

"We need to get out of here," Marie said seriously. She turned and was lifted off the ground by an unseen force. She was thrown through the air. She grabbed hold of a branch and climbed up.

Autumn reappeared and grabbed the hammer. She yanked it out of Amy's grip and crushed it with her bare hands. "I said this didn't concern you. Stand down," she ordered fiercely.

"Amy, just warn the others! Stay way from her, she isn't after you! I'll handle this monster," Marie yelled.

"You better listen. I have no business with you. Stay back or else," Autumn said. She turned back to the squirrel and chased her.

"Hey! Get off!" Autumn yelled. Her fur faded to white and a blinding light came from behind her, angelic wings were left behind. Autumn flapped her wings and rose above the trees.

Autumn lost her balance and started to descend. Marie grabbed Amy and pulled her off Autumn. Autumn got caught in the branches and was battered badly. She hit the ground hard, blood flowing from a cut on her head. Her eyes returned to their natural light blue and her fur to light brown. She passed out on the ground.

    "Goody," Marie said sarcastically.

"Shut it, squirrel," Autumn commanded. "This is your fault anyway. You just HAD to cross the line, didn't you?"

"It isn't my fault you can't control your temper," Marie back talked.

Autumn growled. "Get out before I attack again," her eyes faded to red, "and this time I won't fail."

    "Eep!" Marie panicked before fleeing.
