Pesadilla caught view of something that seemed to glow from his peripheral vision he immediately spun to face it. The glowing he had saw were two eyes staring at him. He sat down calmly staring back the tip of his tail still bouncing to the rhythm. His ice blue eyes were slits staring back at the pair of eyes

Tic, Toc, Tic, Toc, Tic- He repeated in his mind and tail flicked to the beat. He jumped branch to branch, tree to tree. His sleek black fur hidden by the shadows of the leaves. His ice blue eyes watching the life below. His eyes were like slits as he watched a hare from below, his eyes flickered just as he pounced, quickly killing the rabbit. He watched the blood pour from the rabbit's fatal wound. He then ate the rabbit and buried the bones. He jumped into a near by tree. Tic, toc ,tic ,toc...yes it's me Pesadilla the one that haunts your dreams...the one that haunts your dreams...I never left you I'm still here...Haunting you forever...You cannot run...You cannot hide...I'm the one...That lies deep inside...Tic, toc, tic, toc, tic---

Pesadilla looked down "My mother abandoned me when I was young, her face...so evil...it haunts my dreams" he said sitting down and curling his tail around his paws.

Pesadilla nodded taking a step back. He looked out the cave entrance the sun was setting. He quickly ran out bolting up a tree and sitting on the thin top branch that bended from his weight. He stared at the orange fiery ball in the sky as it slowly set.

Pesadilla listened to the she-cat as he watched the sun set, once it had set he jumped down beside her "Okay, let's give it a try."

Pesadilla nodded following his tail flicking to the unheard tune Tic, toc, tic, toc ,tic- "Hey..." he said after a while "You never told me your name"
