History:
'I was born and still live in Davenport, Florida where my dad works as an orthopedic surgeon, so he isn't at home much. My mom's an anesthetist, so same story. They try to work alternating shifts so one of them can be at home with my brother, Fergus, and I, but it doesn't always work out like that, so Fergus (six years my senior and trying to get into college) usually looks after things. Fortunately, the two of us get on pretty well with each other, although on occasion I hate his guts.
I started skating when I was six after watching the World Championships. I told my mom that I wanted to be like the skaters on TV, so she talked to the skating club in Kissimmee and I took to the ice. Two years later, I started competing. My debut program was to 'Can you Feel the Love Tonight', which is probably the most over-skated song ever. Still, I was eight and it was cute.
I think that's everything interesting. Oh, I won a spelling bee once. It was the only spelling bee I ever did because, as it turns out, I hate spelling bees.'
