Wavepaw's eyes lit up. It was the time he had ever asked anyone that question. He had finally managed to find the confidence to talk to someone properly.
'Thanks,' He mewed in reply. 'You're my first ever friend!' -
She smiled and closed her eyes, leaning against Cometheart's soft fur. Ripplefur knew they would have to go back to camp soon, but she wanted this moment to last.
'I'm glad you woke me up,' she said softly. -

Wavepaw sat down infront of the jumbled piles of medicine. He had only been a medicine cat apprentice for about a moon, but the smell of herbs already felt like home to him.
His strange dream ran through his mind as he sorted the piles. The thing that stuck in Wavepaw's mind the most, was the way that bird kept looking at him. Usually, the eyes of a bird were shallow - there was no indication of life. The bird in his dream had deep and meaningful black eyes. There was no other way to describe them. Wavepaw could see the bird's emotions in them. That was how he knew the bird wasn't scared. -
Thunderpool let the cry fade. There was no breath left in his lungs. He just wanted to get away from everything. To get away from the Clans. Forever.
But he knew he couldn't. Ripplefur and Shiningpoppy, his two sisters, he wouldn't leave them. I was the one that let our mother die. The least I can do is stay with them. Unless I join StarClan, myself...
Thunderpool wished he could. That same thought seemed to run through his mind in an endless cycle. Life was just an endless cycle.
'Why did you give this life to me, StarClan? Why couldn't you have just let me be happy for once!' -
'We should go back soon,' she whispered. 'But not yet.'
The night her mother died, the day Shiningpoppy left.... It was as though none of that really mattered anymore. It was as though nothing else would ever matter. Not while Cometheart was there. -
'Who's there!' Thunderpool growled. There was someone in the bushes beside him. Someone had heard him. 'Get out here!'
He let his head droop again. 'What's the point.... I won't hurt you. Just let me talk to you.' -
They sat in silence for what seemed like an age.
'We should go back now,' Ripplefur whispered at last. 'But no one said we can't do this again.'
She smiled and lifted her head. She didn't want to leave, but she knew she had to. The Clan would worry if she wasn't back soon. -
Thunderpool turned his head towards the she-cat and let out a depressed sigh. Looking back at the ground, he grated his teeth in an attempt to stifle the cry that was resurfacing.
'I can't do this anymore,' he said quietly. 'I- I'm finished....' -
'Yes. That would be great,' she smiled.
As she began to make her way quickly down the tree, thoughts ran through her mind. Tonight was perfect... but Westwing... Oh, I don't know what to do!
She shook her head and waited for Cometheart at the bottom of the tree. -
All I want for Christmas is... The Sight!
Does it require staff approval? Yup!

Ripplefur padded silently through the forest. She could still smell the fox scent, along with Dustpaw's fear. A pang of sorrow spread through her. Dustpaw's training would be delayed because of this accident, that was if the training continued at all.
Her paws took her back into the camp, where she sat down beside the medicine cat's area and groomed her thick blue fur. She listened to the words being passed around, feeling worried about poor Dustpaw's future.
OOC- YEEEEESSSSS!!!!! I have finaaaallllyyyyyyy found another Len fangirl :3

'It's fine...' Thunderpool replied without looking up. 'I was making too much noise. It was my fault. Everything's my fault!'
He threw his head back so that he was looking at the sky. 'Everything is my fault!' he shouted.
He didn't know what to do. It was too late to try and swallow his feelings again. He couldn't hide it now. It would probably spread like wildfire through the Clan.
Did you hear about Thunderpool? They would say.
That mousebrain of a cat finally figured out that we don't need him! They would say. Through his eyes, life could only get even worse. -
He could hear Silentmist padding closer, but he didn't look up.
'It's true,' he replied. 'I hold the Clan back. Weigh them down. The forest would be better without me.'
Thunderpool's blue eyes were empty. There was no joy, no happiness, no glow of pride. His paw pads were cut and painful from running through the forest, day after day after day. Thunderpool didn't care. It was almost as though he was immune to physical pain as it wasn't anywhere near the emotional scars he received every moment of his life. -
Thunderpool looked at Silentmist. He had never thought about that.
'No. They- They haven't,' he said, and for the first time in many moons he nearly smiled, and this time, it wasn't fake joy. Not the kind the Clan saw every day.
Yet, he still felt so angry. So guilty. So unwanted. It was still his fault that Lilicstep died. If it hadn't been for him, his sisters would not have suffered so much. Especially Shiningpoppy. Her mate had died not long after Lilacstep. Thunderpool had made her grieve twice as much. -
Ripplefur smiled at the apprentice's question. He had done a very brave thing. Proved that he was willing to give his life for the Clan.
She stood up, stretched her back, and padded to the entrance of the medicine cat den.
'I don't think that fox'll ever come back,' she said softly, so as not to startle the cats. 'You definitely scared him off, Dustpaw!' -
Ripplefur went further into the den, her blue fur puffed up against the cold.
'What you did was a very noble thing. We're all proud of you,' she smiled. -
'News like this spreads like wildfire. I was just leaving camp to go hunting when I heard two other cats talking about it,' she replied. 'I could smell fox as soon as I left camp.'
Ripplefur sat down as soon as she realised how intimidating she must seem. She was a very tall she-cat, and was probably scaring poor Dustpaw.
