"You do it because I'm about to rip his head off" he said impatiently and as the words were said, the human cringes away even more scared

The human only looks at her with fearful eyes then quickly pulls out a hunting knife laced with poison and points it at the two, hands shivering.

The human then recklessly ran at Mei with the knife above his head. He obviously had no experience with it.

Jesse quickly walk over to the human and punches him in the face, knocking him out cold. "Let's go" he said.

"Good idea, but keep a low profile and don't make a sound" said Jesse.

Jesse quickly runs up the tree and starts making a makeshift treehouse

Jesse finished making the treehouse and jumps down to see how visible it is.

All of Jesses attention was on the visibility of the treehouse, he didn't hear the hunters or Mei.

Jesse jumped at first then literally picked her up and ran up the tree in to the treehouse.

Suddenly, two hunters appeared in the clearing and stood where Mei was "I saw it right here" said one of them, impatiently. "Come on, it probably ran ahe... Oh my god" said the second one seeing the knocked out human on the ground, bleeding out the nose.

Jesse quickly shouted "there they go!" And the two hunters peel off in the direction, opposite of where they came, not giving a second thought.

"No wait, bring him up here" said Jesse, "we can take him in to a hospital tomorrow, but not now"

"No point staying awake for the rest of the night, It's already been long enough" said jesse starting to fall asleep.

Within minutes, Jesse fell asleep.

Jesse woke up a couple of hours later, a little stiff and looked down to make sure the human was still there. To his amazement, he was walking around and looking for a way home. "That hit should have knocked him out for days" said Jesse, disappointed.

Jesse indicated the human walking around on the ground below

"Your call" he replied, then sat back to see what she was going to do.

Jesse nodded and went back to sleep

Jesse was still sleeping, but dreamt about the hunters finding him and Mei and woke up with a jolt.

When Mei came into sight Jesse got up and smiled, this complete stranger a few hours ago became the only person he could trust, and he still didn't even know her name.
