Frosteyes looked around and saw a vole behind Ravenpaw, and she motioned her tail for her to slowly turn around. "Don't make a sound." she whispered her gaze fixated on the vole.

"Alright." she said calmly, her fur lying down. "Hello," she meowed to the Riverclan apprentice "You're Ghostpaw right?" she had remembered him from one of the gatherings.

"You did unsheathe your claws, right?" she meowed watching her apprentice.

Frostpaw was sitting in the crowd of her apprentice ceremony waiting for her name and her mentor's name to be called. She looked around at the warriors guessing who her mentor might be "Gingerfur? No. Ashpelt? No. Smokeclaw? No. Tigerfur? NO!!!" she thought to her self. She looked back up at the leader, "Frostpaw" he meowed, motioning her up. She jumped up so fast she thought she was going to jump out of her pelt. She ran up to Sandstar.

Frostpaw was excited to become an apprentice, she had dreamed about it when she was a kit, and now her dreams were coming true! "Silvertail, will you mentor Frostpaw?" Sandstar asked her. Frostpaw couldn't sit still, Sandstar put his tail on her back to keep her still.

"Then Frostpaw, this is your new mentor." Sandstar meowed. The clan shouted "Frostpaw Frostpaw" Frostpaw turned to face her mentor.

Frosteyes narrowed her eyes and stared at Ravenpaw. She didn't understand why she had yelled at her.

She nodded to her mentor. "Can we go train?" she asked, her eyes wide.

"Okay." she said as she jumped off the rocks she ran over to her apprentice friends.

Frostpaw and her friends ran to the apprentice den and the to the nursery to find kits to play with.

"Sure." she meowed as she looked around. She saw a tiny mouse eating a nut by the entrance. She crept along the wall, she crouched down and caught the mouse. "SILVERTAIL!" she yowled running over to her mentor "LOOK WHAT I JUST CAUGHT!" She showed her mentor the plump mouse.
