"I'll take the broiled salmon with water and some Pokemon food." Macy said and smiled.

Glacier slyly walked to her tree and fell asleep near the fire.

Macy grinned as she walked out the lab. "I'm so glad Professor Rowan had an extra Turtwig." She said. She had her new Pokemon tightly in her arms. She noticed a Marill and swiftly caught it. She squeled and picked up the pokeball containing Marill.

"Oh! Yeah! I forgot you said earlier you beat the gym." Macy smiled. "A walk down the beach sounds amazing." She said contently.

Kimberly woke up quickly. "Oh my Arecus! I forgot to set my alarm!" She groaned. "I have to start the day way later than I expected." She shrugged. "Oh well, i better get dressed." She ran around the room and threw on her white blouse and her blue jean shorts. She slipped on her shoes and did her hair. Her Marill jumped on her shoulder and she ran out the door.

Kimberly walked to the building slowly, Marill on her shoulder. Marill was technically her first Pokemon. She was friends with Marill since she was 9 and finally caught it when she was 14 soon after she then received Turtwig from Professor Rowan. She breathed in and out and then yanked the door open.

Macy raced through the town, looking only like a blur to most people. She was on her way to get her very first Pokemon. She knew the journey would be long and difficult, but she knew with her Pokemon's help, she could do anything. She reached the Lab and noticed two trainers already there. "I wonder what starter they picked." she said to herself as she opened the door.

"Yes it is. Living there is what made me love contests so much." She said, looking out at the Ocean. "Whats your hometown?" She asked, smiling warmly.

Kimberly looked around at the unfamiliar people. Her stomach turned to knots, and she could feel the Butterfrees. "I guess this is what being nervous feels like." She said to Marill. Kimberly wasn't one to be nervous, and definitely not shy, but being around new people took away all her courage. "Marill.. What if I don't make friends? Who will I talk to? Who will I battle?" She frowned and Marill jumped into hers arms, giving her a big hug. Kimberly smiled wide. "Thanks!" She said, cheering up immediately.

Macy pushed open the door, her Marill holding on to her arm. She was her to get her starter, and she was incredibly nervous. She always wanted to become a coordinator, like her mom. She would practice move combinations with her Marill and her mom would say she was going to have every ribbon from every region. She walked in and saw a girl with a Chimchar. She smiled and walked to the table. "I would like to have Turtwig, please." She was handed his pokeball and a pokdex. "Thanks!" She said kindly. She turned to the girl and flashed another smile. "Hi, I'm Macy." She said.

Macy giggled. "Wow, I got my first ribbon not too long ago, I was to nervous to enter when I was younger, but then the Gym leader Fantina convinced me to enter, so i did." She smiled.

Macy finished and returned her Pokemon, except Combusken. "You and I are going to train, so you can evolve into a mighty Blaziken!" Combusken cried and started kicking the air, ready to begin. "That's the spirit!" She said, giggling at his enthusiasm.

Macy shook her hand and smiled. "It's nice to meet you too. This may seem rash since we barely know each other, but would you like to travel with me? I feel the journey will be greater with friends. I'll understand if you said no" Marill and Turtwig scurried to Macy's feet. They cried to Chimchar in greeting.

"Yeah, I still can't believe I won." She smiled and looked at him. "I think you're very charming." She let Swablu fly into her arms and she gave her little bird Pokemon a gentle squeeze.

Combusken coughed and glared at the Pokeball containing Smoke. "Are you okay Combusken?" Macy asked, her over worried eyes examining him. He nodded and she sighed in relief. She turned to Lucy and smiled. "It's okay. Fire types can definitely be hot headed." She glanced over to Combusken and then back to Lucy.

"It's incredible." she admired the beautiful colors in the sky. She yawned slightly and smiled at him.

Kimberly walked to the wooden door she was told to go into. She took a deep breath and walked in, looking around. she saw two girls and sat down next to the one with the Togepi. "Hi i'm Kimberly." She managed to get out, her voice shaky and nervous. Marill cuddled up to Kimberly's arm, trying to comfort her.
