Flame trotted out of her den and started up her tree into her hollow.She knew something had happened,so she went to her thinking hollow where all of her things were kept.

Flame headed over to the hot,bubbly,pool of water that kept her warm.She loved it and it was the only hope she had that spring would be back.

Flame then looked in the secret hiding spot she and her best friend Cream shared.Inside was a baby blue egg."What is this?"She asked herself and placed her paw on it lightly.

Flame slid into the warm water,sighing as it took the cold away from her bones.

Flame pressed to hard and the egg cracked at the center,only to reveal a small,sky blue piece of cloth. "What is this?"She asked herself as Cream scaled the tree.

Flame closed her eyes and started to doze off,the warm water soothing the she-cat.

Cream saw her best friend with the egg and trotted over."What is that egg?"She asked Flame."Well,I'm gonna go see if I find any."She said,not waiting for an answer.

She then got up and shook her pelt,sending warm droplets of water flying everywhere."Sorry!"Called to the cats that she had hit.

Flame realized that the cloth kept her warm and so she dragged to her den in the roots of the tree,laying it on her nest.Flame then trotted off into the forest to look for more.

Flame saw the cat thrashing in the water and rushed over to help.
