Furykit was suddenly nervous as the first test began. His siblings did so good, could he amount to them in the hunting crouch? Lowering his masculine yet slim body to the ground shakily, he did everything right- except for his paws. They were awkwardly set a tiny bit in front of him, not tucked underneath him neatly. When he tried to tidy them up, he tripped on them fell over on his side. Quickly scrambling up and assuming the same position, he became hot. One thing was for sure- he wasn't going to be part of the hunting part of the legion.
Mouse dung! he thought.

Twilightbliss looked back up to Littlecloud maturely and sighed.
"It is alright," she mewed. "And no worries, EmberClan will quickly teach Rattlekit respect, I can assure you that. Disrespect will not be tolerated by anyone in EmberClan." Turning, she decided it was about time to leave. "Well, let's go so we can get you all settled in. If you'll just follow me..." Squeezing though the bramble wall, she entered the camp boundaries.

Cardinalfeather woke up at Emberstar's call and slinked over to Trial Stone. He was drowsy from sleeping and very grumpy.
This better be good, he thought.

Twilightbliss also followed, padding to the front of the group just about closest to the Trial Stone. She glanced back to look for Moonglow.
Is he here? she thought worriedly. By now, she had given up- He'd been going through her head so much that it was wearing her out trying to keep her mind from thinking about the tom, so she just let her brain wander.

Furykit stumbled to the large rock, excited. He wondered what it could be about.

Furykit sighed. He needed to do this test right. Getting in a low position to get ready to run, his eyes narrowed at the tree, he darted for it. Running full speed to where he was almost a blur, he felt like a speeding bullet in the clearing. At the last second, about a fox-length before he reached the tree, he decided to run up the tree how Believekit did. His muscular paws grasped the bark and propelled him upward to the next branch after the one his sister was on. When he steadied himself, he was extremely surprised. Did he just climb the tree? He looked down at Twilightkit, she looked so small on the ground. Looking at Believekit, he smirked. He was one branch farther than her! He felt so accomplished. Looking to Emberstar and Falconflight, he couldn't wait for their reactions.

Psshh, I had no idea. I gad to go google it. :))

Furykit took another deep breath as he crouched down. He was going to do this right this time. Tucking paws under him and keeping tail still, he slinked quietly toward Ashpelt. By the time he knew it, he was by his siblings' side. He kept advancing on the she-cat.

Furykit suddenly froze. Ashpelt was twitching her ears too much and squirming, she was sensing them all. Staying completely still for a moment to get his bearings, he finally took a step forward. It was silent as a eagle soaring, not a sound was made. Slowly and stealthily, he took one step after another, the next step quieter than the last. Finally, he was so close to the beta to where he could reach her tail with a stretch of his leg. There, he came to a stop.

Tidalheart sighed, gathering up her herbs again, the burdock already chewed, and caught up to Stormtalon and Bluefire.
"Hey, you two!" she yelled. "When we get back to camp, you get right to my den, you hear? Your injuries are moderate, but injuries are injuries."

"You still need to go so I can at least get some cobweb and burdock on your cuts, Bluefire," Tidalheart mewed. Then she turned to her apprentice. "Why sure, Willowmist, just give me a minute to take care of Stormtalon and Bluefire, I'll meet you there afterward." Nudging the she-cat, she began to walk again.

Gotcha, Ashpelt, Furykit thought, narrowing his eyes. He could tell by the way she was turning her head that she could not hear a thing. Taking another step, he now was smack next to Ashpelt. I should pounce now before she senses me. He waited another moment, though, to make completely sure that she didn't sense him with that step.
Too late! Twilightkit had already pounced. He growled, angry at his sister. She was too eager, not waiting enough to make sure she got the catch. Trying to be careful about this matter, he decided to wait. He moved sideways to get a better view of Ashpelt. Getting tense, he got ready, but still waited. He was going to show he was patient and smart.
