Sunfoot asked the clan deputy if she could join a hunting patrol. She headed off with a few other cats to hunt. She wondered how Ashstrike was getting on.

"Hey!" Sunkit squealed. "I'm gunna be the BEST warrior ever!" She said with certainty.

By the time sunfoot came back, the sun was going down. Their patrol had caught alot of prey. Three little minnows, a big trout, and sunfoot had caught a trout too.

Sunfoot padded back to her nest warily. Her day of hunting had worn her out. At least the clan is not going hungry. She thought before sleep caught her in its grasp.

"Thank you Gingerstreak." Sunkit mewed before rubbing against her leg purring. Her mum Silvershine was always helping Ravenheart with his exercises that she had forgotten about her kits. Gingerstreak was like a second mother to her and Firekit.

Toby the 16 year old werecat sat sharpening his claws. He could smell rabbits. And an unfamiliar scent. He followed it to find a pretty teenage girl watering her flowers. Her scent was like peaches on a summer night. He had to know her name. But he had to wait till tomorrow until his curse had lifted once the full moon had dimmed.

Toby waited as he returned to human form. Blond hair, blue eyes. Typical. But as he walked home, a thought struck him. Was he not the only one after this pretty teen?

"Yeah where is she?" Sunkit said her ears pricking up. "Last I saw of her she wandered outside into the blizzard." Sunkit said panic setting in. "OH NO!" She yowled. "What if a badger got her?" She mewed. "It's gunna be our apprentice ceremony tomorrow!" She's got to be there she thought.

Toby awoke to see his pet cat pearl waiting for breakfast. He gave her some biscuits and headed off to work. He only ever had Sunday off.

"I'll search the warriors den!" She said running off.

Sunkit came running back. "She isn't there!" She said breathless. "I think she has left camp!" She said.

Toby was at work in the museum as a security guard when he smelt the scent of the pretty girl coming from the woods. he must go and see her someday he wondered.

Toby walked into the entrance to get to work to be on time for his shift. That was when he saw the girl. He was licking his hand because he WAS a werecat and it was a weird habit of his. He walked over to her and said shakily, "Hello." "My name is Toby." He wondered if after work he could ask her out to the park.

Toby's heart started racing. He knows her name now! He raced outside to the garden and picked a bunch of daffodils for her. He calmly walked inside and handed her the bunch of lovely smelling flowers.

Sunkit raced off to the elders den. "Why hello there sunkit." Said the frail old elder Birdsong. "hello." Sunkit replied quickly. "what are you looking for?" Birdsong meowed in a tired voice. "Latanakit!" Sunkit said. "She's disappeared!" She cried. Sunkit started to sob. "Its our apprentice ceremony tomorrow!" She said. "She has to be there!" She said over her shoulder before racing to the dirt place tunnel.

Toby also blushed at the clerks comment. "I'll take you if you want." He said smiling at Ren.

"Ok lets go." Toby said in a quiet voice grabbing her hand.

"Splotchkit!" Sunkit yelled. "Were not allowed out of camp." She said quietly. "Shall we tell Thornfang?" She said. "He could organize a search patrol!" She mewed excitedly.

When they got to a set of large metal doors, toby let go of her hand and knocked on the doors. "Who is it?" Said another female voice.

"Ok im with you!" She said in a hushed voice. "Hey how long is Longkit going to take?" Sunkit mewed.
