Splash nodded when Cricket spoke, liking her friend's idea. "And perhaps a swimming race in the lake?" She loved swimming more than anything.
Smoke listened to the ideas thoughtfully. He wondered what events he could participate in, because he was a cave-guard and not a hunter. He was getting angry at Haze, who never wanted to have fun, for trying to ruin it for the others. But nothing showed on his calm, thoughtful face, as he considered the ideas.

What are your cat's names?

"Shadepaw, Boltpaw, scout ahead! Stormtail, go with them." Silverstar called. "Look for the kits! If all goes well, we'll be at the canyon by nightfall."
Lilysong peered down from her tree, hidden among the leaves. The patrol finally passed, pausing only to eat a vole.
-
Shadedpaw leapt off of his branch like a diving board, causing a huge splash of water. Hopefully it would shower Nightpaw in water droplets- though they were both soaked from the river anyways.
-
K thanks.
And sure you can mentor her! What's your character's name?
-
Silverstar smiled sadly. "I wish that were true." She whispered. Her kits couldn't be dead, right?
Lilysong and Birchflame followed Bravefoot to the camp. A Nightclan apprentice was lied out and froze, too startled to call the alarm.
-
Shadedpaw felt himself rush past the branch. Turning around, he forcefully pushed off of a stone and managed to reach the branch, digging his claws in.

Salmon's Splash nodded. "The place we slept last night is the best I've seen so far, but who knows? There might be someplace better." Pausing for a second, she added: "I'm getting hungry. I think I saw some little animals in the marsh mud, want to catch a few?" She was referring to the fiddler crabs, of course. There had been no stories about those from the elders.
-
"We should be getting close to the canyon. Don't fall in." Silverstar warned. The canyon was almost impossible to see unless you were less than a fox-length away from it, which was how Birchflame had fallen in the first time they found it. It was very hard to see.
Ooc: yeah, it's a great time to jump in. In the old forest/camp or in the canyon.
-
Shadedpaw laughed and dove underwater as the splash hit him. He came back up, glancing around for his brother. Where was Nightpaw? The apprentice began to get worried as his brother did not pop back up. "Nightpaw?"

Splash nodded, not daunted at all. She meowed her agreement with the chosen contests, turning to Cricket and Leopard. "Yeah, I guess it makes sense." She didn't really care that her idea had been rejected. She was always so bright and energetic that it was hard for her to get upset.
-
Silverstar nodded with a sigh. "It seems impossible that they made it all this way without getting tired or injured- we've been walking half the day. But we never saw any signs of them."

"Found it!" Silverstar called as she stopped right on the edge of the cliff side. She noticed small shapes at the bottom of the canyon! The kits! What if they had fallen?

Stormpaw and Violetpaw and been out hunting, but as they walked into camp carrying a large rabbit, they saw the foxes. Astonished, the two leapt to protect the nursery.
