OOC; I think there's going to be a lot of cats who have eyes on each other! And why do I have this feeling something, somewhere is going to explode? :P

IC; She felt eyes on her now. Syrinx knew it wasn't that toms, because his stare (as much as she hated to admit this) would never ruffle her pelt the wrong way like this one did. Her eyes fell on another she-cat who was staring at her with a bit more interest than she felt comfortable. So, with her discomfort, she glared back; perhaps a bit defensively.

Nothing really changed all that much for a kit that was struggling to be born. There was a slight squeezing that grew worse and worse until it felt like it was going to pop, and then everything was fine again. The biggest change was when the kit took it's first breath of real air. Aluka choked a moment on the sudden rush of it entering her little body, before loud and powerful squeals poured out of her.

Shivering in the unusual coldness, her dark fur soaked to her tiny little body, Aluka started squirming in a desperate search of her mother's soft fur. In the womb the kit had gotten used to being surrounded by her mother on all four sides, so of course by instinct the little kit longed to bury her nose in her mother; wanting to be surrounded with that same warm and safe feeling rather than the cold air that was around her now.

Windwhisker lead her to the camp, and dropped his measly mouse on the pile ungraciously. He didn't even have the heart to pick anything to eat for himself. Instead he turned away and watched Gingerberry with interest. Maybe she would want to go on a walk with him? He started to ask, then felt his nerves get frazzled and shut his mouth again. Ah... maybe not.

The smell of the blood in the air made Owlhunter's pupils dilate. "Hmmm..." He grunted, reluctant to let go of the rabbits neck. He let it's scent wash over him for a while longer before he dropped it. Then he gestured with his head for her to start. "Go ahead," he mewed while he liked his one jaws. They could hunt for the clan on their way back since the two of them had not started the day without eating like most other cats.

"Nice to meet you!" Lunarpaw replied to them both. She didn't notice Deathpaw's inner struggle because she wasn't really the most observant of cats. At least not yet. Her attention was actually on the warrior who had agreed to take them hunting. "That name is kind of pretty," she announced. All warriors earned the name anyway, so what it was didn't really matter, it was how they got it.

She started padding towards the warrior now, glancing back when Deathpaw wasn't behind her. That's when she noticed how subdued and sad he looked (or at least she thought it was sad). He must be taking this mentor thing so hard... For a moment she regarded him sadly before she got an idea.

Her ears shot straight up and she smirked in a challenging way. "I bet that I'm gonna catch the fattest and tastiest prey there is!" And she wagged her tail playfully as she waited expectantly for Deathpaw to respond to her challenge.

Lunarpaw smirked in return. "Positive!" She hissed. Lunarpaw turned, smirking to Orangerfur playfully as she bunched up her muscles in preparation for launch. Than she leaped past Orangefur and continued on away from the rocks. Not too fast though, so the other cat's couldn't follow or loose sight of her, but fast enough for her to set a steady pace that would take them quickly through RiverClan's territory.

Owlhunter looked down at the rabbit eagerly, his own mouth watering at the idea of sinking his teeth into warm soft flesh. He was distracted by her hum for a moment, but the smell of rabbit was a bit too overwhelming for him to put much thought in it. He leaned down and tore into the meal as soon as Silverpelt invited him, unable to contain his excitement.

First his bites were famished and desperate, than they faded to slower and calmer bites. His belly filled quickly, and Owlhunter sat up to start washing himself, letting the taste of rabbit linger in his jaws. "The fruit of our labor was delicious~"

    OOC: Nice~ :D

Owlhunter's ears flickered up and down while she licked his jaws clean for him. His tail began to wag in a friendly way as he purred. Owlhunter moved to lick her cheek and her head in return, grateful and returning the favor for her licks. "Yes!" He meowed in agreement.

Oh! She must have read his mind. Windwhisker almost mewed happily. Instead though, he bottled it up and pretended that he wasn't really as excited as he was feeling. "Sure," he meowed, but what he really wanted to meow was "yes, yes, yes!"

When her mother moved she had curled up next to her littermates, wanting the warmth of them. Despite how gentle her mother tried to be, once she was taken from the warmth she wanted she made a little mew in protest. However, she was too tired to put up much of a fight, and stopped protesting after her one little complaint. Not like she could do much about it anyway.

Windwhisker's tail betrayed him in a friendly wag before he started after her. "Do you have a destination in mind?" He meowed curiously. He wanted to know if they were just walking, or if they were walking for a purpose. Either option sounded fine with him!

Lunarpaw looked back, confused when she saw that she had no one following her, and then turned to try and find them. It didn't take her that long, but she certainly wasn't happy when she did. Her ears flattened and she looked at Deathpaw with some embarrassment. Here she was, boasting about catching the most kill, and he made the first one. However, she wasn't a mean cat. "That was awesome, Deathpaw!" She meowed. After all, his ability to scent while she ran right past it was worth some praise!

Now Oragnefur wanted to see what she could do. Lunarpaw looked uncertain of herself for a moment, put on the spot and obviously not liking it, but she turned around. She wanted to prove to these cats that she was learning well and was just as good at hunting as she boasted about. So! Lunarpaw opened her mouth to draw in the scent of the world around her. She caught no scent at first, so she padded a little bit further, and then she caught the scent of mouse.

It was faint, but with her tail twitching excitedly she followed it until she found the little brown thing scurrying along. She lowered herself, keeping light on her paws like instructed, and carefully to keep her pelt from brushing against underbrush or for her paws to step on anything that would give her away. She got as close as she dared, prepared herself by tensing her muscles, and then she launched after the mouse with a powerful leap. Before it even knew what hit it she her claws were upon it. She scooped it up into her mouth and killed it by breaking it's fragile little spine.

She now returned to where Orangefur and Deathpaw were, carrying her prey in her mouth with pride. Her eyes were bright with excitement too, almost twinkling like the stars at night. She loved hunting, it was exciting after all~! Her chest was fluffed out in pride, probably praising herself more than any experienced warrior could, but she still looked ready to receive more. "See! I'm an expert!" She purred like it was a simple fact.

Fallingleaf had made it her duty to inspect the border alone, mostly because she was half hoping that the tom from before would show up. She wanted to believe it was so she could rip his pelt clean off, but she knew that was wrong. Everytime she thought of him her heart thudded a little too hard in her chest.

She didn't smell him, but she did smell another cat that made her stop and scent the air. She turned towards the smell and started searching for it, her fur starting to bristle. Maybe if the other cat had not been a long exiled warrior, she would have smelled ShadowClan. However, after being without the clan, the smell was not detectable.

The white cat found the other easily, and she launched herself at her, fur raised and fury in her eyes. Despite her disloyalty and reluctance to follow the warrior code when that tom had visited her, she was going to be a hypocrite and continue to follow it now. "Who are you!? Why are you on our territory!?" She demanded in a fierce hiss.

Fallingleaf couldn't believe this other cat was so calm, and she couldn't believe that this loner was trying to persuade them join her. "No way!" She hissed angrily. "Now get out of here you mousebrained fool!" Maybe this cat was stronger than her alone, but not with two ShadowClaners ready to take her. She glared at Dawnheart when she paused to think, but was glad she decided to make the smart choice. Her fur prickled and she advanced on the loner. "I think she's lying. Let's just chase her off."

She started out on more prey as well, since Orangefur was right. One mouse wasn't going to feed the clan. Too bad it was leafbare, because it was harder to find the smell of prey. Still, she caught something, and she started after it. Her paws padded silently over dead grass until she found another vole. It was tiny and pathetic, but it was still something. Of course, unlike Deathpaw's bird it wasn't really much of a challenge. She had it in seconds, and then buried it with some distaste. That vole wasn't even worthy of a meal.

She looked discouraged when she met back up with the Orangefur and Deathpaw. "Maybe we should head deeper into the woodsy area? Their might be more prey there." More birds at least. And more little scurrying mice and voles in the roots of the large trees.
