-
Hi, I'm Indigofoot, and--oooo! A penny! Anyway, I need an apprentice. In ThunderClan.
-
-
Indigofoot paced around the hollow, waiting for Dapplepaw. She had said that she would be here as soon as possible. They were learning the basics today: defensive maneuvers, offensive moves, and climbing. Of course, one lesson wasn't enough to fit it all in, so they would have to split it up. Indigofoot had his own plan for training the apprentice. Of course, he rarely thought about it. He heard paw-steps above, but it was just a patrol. Where are you, Dapplepaw? he thought angrily.
-
"It's alright," Indigofoot said. "But next time, you better have a good excuse." He wasn't in the mood for procrastination, so he got right to business, "Okay, today, we'll start with climbing. I want you to climb that tree and try to attack me from above. Remember; there are a lot of leaves up there, so don't rustle the branches. If you do, it would alert your opponent, and he would warn his Clanmates that we are attacking from the air. Do you understand?"
-
Indigofoot felt the weight of the apprentice crash down upon him. "Good," he praised her. "But, next time, unbalance me by landing on my hindquarters and lashing out. This will confuse an enemy, making them think there is more than one warrior." Dapplepaw, he saw, was swift and skillful. He would haveto progress quickly. "Okay, next we'll do something a bit trickier. In SkyClan, I heard, the warriors battle from the skies. They are light, strong, and swift. You share these qualities with them. I think a bit of aboveground combat wouldn't hurt you. We'll start with the Flick-Over. What I want you to do is jump as high as possible and swing on a branch. Get under me and twist one of my forepaws and the opposite oneof my hindpaws. Knock them out from under me and aim a strike, claws sheathed, at my chest so I'll flip over. Do it. Now."
-
Indigofoot smirked at his apprentice. "You need to swing on a branch in order to increase your force. Observe." Indigofoot shot into the air, his ultrawhite teeth flashing in the sunlight. He hooked his claws on a nearby branch and swung forward. He retracted his claws and kicked the branch with his hind legs. He shot forward under Dapplepaw and kicked her legs out. As she began to fall, he struck her chest with a blow strong enough to flip her backwards. "See? If I hadn't swung and kicked off, I would not have reached you. This is a one-time use in a fight. It will alert the enemy of where you are. But it will startle them long enough for you to complete it."
-
"Very good," Indigofoot said. "Now, all you have to do is remember how to jump."
-
"No," Indigofoot stated flatly. "That's enough for today. But it was a lovely effort."

Appearence:

Power(s): Witch Fyre (Electric-Blue Flames)

These hybrids almost always have a Gift, and travel in twos and threes rather than huge flocks, but they are open to almost anything.

Ummm... I think I should point out the fact that a Tribe cat is named for the first thing that the mother sees when she gives birth... Just thought you ought to know...
-
Ha ha! Soultrain? Seriously? Wow. Not only is it a bunch of old music, but the song "Hey Soul Sister" is by Train. Amusing what coincidences exist in the world. Oh. Wait; I don't believe in coincidences.

Why would it need further explaination other than the picture? Whatever. Yeah, I will, but I still think it's kind of pointless. :/
-
-
"I don't know about you," Indigofoot meowed. "But I am going to sleep. I feel as if a huge storm has been pounding my back. Perhaps I should see the medicine cat..."
-
I should probably point out that Hera is the goddess of marriage and would not betray Zeus as he betrays her. So fix this tiny flaw, and I'm absolutely certain someone will accept it. :)
-
Um, yeah, she could've. Remember? It was a perfectly intellectual relationship. A..."brain child" is the term I Riordan used, I believe. She arrived on his doorstep in a golden cradle delivered from Olympus. As I recall, she complained about the fact that her father didn't celebrate this at all. Never even took a picture or anything. But, yeah; Hera is the true maiden, not even capable of cheating.

Camden went to the arena. He heard the swords clashing and decided to join the fun. He noted all of the swords and such, and ignored the stack on the wall. He squeezed his purple staff and the shaft turned into a blade, the huge violet crystal shrunk until it was round and small. The metal casings twisted into a suitable hilt, and Camden looked at the newly made sword with pleasure. "Hey, guys!" he said, smiling one of his rare, sunny smiles. "Anyone want to practice with me?"
