He scuffed a bit as he tilted his head back. "It would be nice to be like that with someone, I do so much moving around that I never really get the opportunity to make friends."

He snapped out of his little trance before looking over at her. He couldn't help but give her a soft smile, "Well you got me there."
-
He couldn't help but laugh at the short girls reaction. "Well what's with the look shortstop, look like you've seen something."
-
He couldn't help but chuckle but pretended to be hurt by her punch. "Hey says there tiger don't want to send me to the nurse's office on the first day."
-
James managed to stiffen a laugh before it could escape his lips. "You look like a tiny Gipsy Danger from Pacific Rim, only difference is your not blue," he said showing a bit of his nerdy side.
-
"Jesus you could atleast laugh a little bit ya know," he said as his back leaned against his seat.
-
The man practically looked like he was dead with his content he was within her arms. The gentle rise and fall of his sides gave away that he was still alive. His head nuzzled closer into her chest as he listened to her heart beat.
-
The author was practically half asleep, but the small amount of rage left in him kept him awake. "What is it?"
-
He rolled his eyes before he could finally see the rest of the class. Their eyes almost piercing straight through him. "Well that's unsettling."
-
His bright blue eyes looked into hers with a look in his eyes that had never been there before and then....he smiled and laughed. "Shouldn't I be the one asking that...you should already know the answer."
-
"I mean it's just so creepy how they stare, are these people always like this," he asked in a hushed whisper.
-
In that moment he sat up with her wrapped in his arms as his hand carefully placed under her chin. "You know my answer would be the same as yours my love," he started as a small smile formed across his lips. And in a whisper that was almost as quiet as the wind itself, he spoke, "Yes."
-
"I think I'd rather just be in my own little clique than choose. God that's so creepy," he said as their stares sent shivers down his spine.
-
He couldn't help but smile at her reaction as she buried her face. Sometimes she surprised him with her reactions, wondering if this was how she truly was sometimes instead of the big bad captain she really was. His face seemed to brighten up as he looked over at the desk that sat in the room. "I do have one thing I need to so real quick."
-
He stood up walking over to the desk. "You know when I first saw this desk. It was a bit obvious to tell you never used the bottom drawer here," he said tapping it with his shoe. He turned to have his back towards her before opening the drawer. "And I thought that it might make a good hiding place someday."
-
He turned around before he could get what he was looking for. "Now come on don't ruin the surprise here," he said. Behind him has hand reached down into the drawer before he found it. He used his foot to close the drawer with a big grin on his face.
-
"Well that doesn't really make things better, guess I don't have a choice but to accept it," he said slumping in his seat a bit.
-
"Not just yet," he said as he walked over towards her. The sound of his footsteps seemed to echo throughout the room. He pulled his hands out from behind him. He knelt down holding the item in his closed hand. "You can look now," as he opened his hand it was a golden ring, no jewels or any branding, there was definitely a story behind this ring.
-
"I know it's nothing special but, my father made this ring before he was my mother and, after she had passed. He gave it to me and said, Son, one day you'll find someone, someone you'll want to cherish for the rest of your days. So when you do, you give them this ring...and now here I am," he said softly. Logam gently toke her right hand into his slipping the ring onto her finger.
-
"Well I need some friends for a change anyway, could probably do me some could to stop spending my time all alone," he said as a yawn escaped past his lips.
