Name: Vic
Age: Eighteen
Looks: A bleach blonde male with pale skin and night grey eyes. He has a large scar on his chest from a close encounter with an eraser, the scar can be seen over his shirt barely going onto his neck. He's relatively tall and not exactly thin framed.
Personality: Vic is..an angry soul. He's angry, sarcastic..but he has good intentions in the end. After years of being on the run, a wall built up around his heart covering it in shadows. But there's always the tiniest opening, even in the darkest of hearts. What he seems to lack in emotion, he makes up for in logic. Or at least in his mind that's how it works.
BackStory: He escaped with his sister when they were younger, and to survive he and his twin became common thieves, pick-pockets to be exact. It was a way to make sure they got what they needed to survive..the logic in this being, if humans were so cruel as to experiment on other humans, then stealing for survival wasn't that wrong.
Winged or Erasers: Winged

Other: Val is his identical twin sister / His one power is that he can see glimpses of the future in his dreams, but he can't see who it happens to or what happens to who, leaving a gap in the 'visions'. Making his power incomplete without his twin.

Name: Val
Age: Eighteen
Looks: A bleach blonde girl with pale skin and night grey eyes. She's not as tall as her brother, and she is thin framed.
Personality: Val is a careless, reckless girl. She's always been sheltered by her brothers protection, so instead of becoming careful and skittish she became the exact opposite. The only time she was ever careful, would be when they were stealing things. She's the more light-hearted one, care free in a sense.
BackStory: The same as her brothers, escaped with him, survived with him by becoming a pick-pocket.
Winged or Erasers: Winged

Other: Vic is her identical twin brother / She can see who things happen to, but not what happens or when. Making her power incomplete without her twin.

All Vic could hear was a males angry yelling behind him as he sprinted down the street to meet up with his twin sister. Normally he wouldn't be caught pick-pocketing anyone..but this time he had been because another person had saw him. Either way he had got the cash, so being seen didn't matter in the long run, all that mattered was he and his sister would be fine for the next few days again..or a day depending on if Val had gotten anything. As he ran though, he saw a small group of..teens? He could only guess as he ran by before disappearing into a small patch of woods.
Val was already at the place they had set up camp in, surprised to see her brother running. "It went wrong, I see." was all she said, but even then she didn't sound worried, all she did was hand him the money she had gotten. "People are oblivious." she smiled before climbing into a tree and sitting on the branch.
Her brother just shook his head. "We'll need to leave soon. We both know it's not smart to stay in one area for two long. Not after what happened the last time." but even he was content here, not in the sense that he felt safe..but in the sense of they were getting along well here, eating daily and had the shelter of the trees. But the scar he had spoke the truth of things..it was to dangerous to stay in one place for more then a month, and it had been luck that he had survived that close encounter. Who knew how lucky he'd be if there was a next time.
-
Vic turned his head at the sound of someone walking by the woods, but he thought nothing of it. It was quite clear that it wasn't the person he had stolen from, considering they were walking..and not running trying to chase him down or something. "Hmph. Come on Val, we better pack up what we have and get out of here. There's no reason for us to stick around here, another town or city will be just as good for us to survive in..as long as there are no erasers there of course." he muttered the last part to himself mostly. He'd protect Val from everything, she was his sister after all..and everything included erasers. With that though, he just turned, starting to throw items into a backpack to leave.
Val however, scowled at him. "And how do you suggest leaving? Taking a bus out of here using the money we just got? Because I know you don't want to fly, you always say that it's to dangerous and we'll get caught. But you need to lighten up, you're gonna give yourself an anxiety attack or something one day with how much you stress over things." she sighed, jumping down from the tree limb she had been sitting on. She didn't care if anyone heard what she said really..if they heard 'fly' most people thought of planes. Most people being humans, of course.
-
Vics eye twitched at Vals question. "Oh yes, because two people flying in the sky with, may I remind you, wings isn't suspicious? Or unusual to see?" he asked her, his tone of voice already proving his annoyance was growing. He was unaware of the person that had showed up since he was so caught up in trying to get his twin to get ready to leave.
Val just folded her arms over her chest. "So? As I said, people are oblivious to us. What about that movie with the flying guy people talk about? 'It's a bird, it's a plane' who says that can't actually be said..?" she sounded so hopeful and yet so ignorant. Even she was unaware of the person that had come near them, then again she never really payed that much attention anyway.
-
As footsteps sounded behind him, Vic turned only to find an older male standing a few yards away from them. Immediately his eyes narrowed, and he got in a defensive position. "I advise you to keep walking.." he spoke lowly, believing that the figure was here for one of two things. Either he was an eraser here to try and get them, or he was just some human that stumbled across them. He didn't even think of the possibility that this was another mutant. He had never personally met one other then his sister, though he knew they probably existed.
"Don't mind him. My brother..doesn't like guest in our humble home." Val called out to the new male, figuring he was just a human that had heard them in the woods. "Just walk away and I assure you Vic here won't follow. He's not looking for a fight." she smiled, waving her hand passively as if to shoo him off. She wasn't worried about the new figure, she just guessed it didn't matter.
-
Vic stared at the male, dark eyes narrowing incredulously this time, clearly skeptical to believe just the words. But wings were proof enough that he was a mutant..but not quite proof he was someone to be trusted. "We're here because it's safer then being near the humans." was his only answer to the other male. There was no reason not to answer him after all, considering he and his sister would be leaving soon anyways.
"And by that he means 'we're thieves and can't nor want to be near regular humans anymore'" Val chimed in once again. "So in return to your question, answer one for us..well for me. What brings you out here knowing two people were already here?" she questioned, not untrusting like her brother but over-all just curious as to his reasoning for coming.
-
Val walked forward, throwing her arm over her brothers shoulders. "I'm Val, and this is Vic." she answered. "So you're leaving town to huh? Well..since we're all leaving why don't we travel together? It could be fun!" she smiled, but that smile quickly faded as her brother spoke again.
"Fun may not be safe." Vic muttered in annoyance with her, shrugging her arm off of him. "Plus, he may not want to travel with us since we won't be flying.." with that, he turned around and picked up the backpack he had been packing before the other male had come. He couldn't believe what his sister was saying, how could she not see that a complete stranger may not be an ally? He'd never understand her mindset. Then again she didn't understand his way of thinking either.
-
At the appearance of new mutants, Vic became even more irritated. "Safety in numbers or not, I don't care. Numbers get seen, we've been fine with it just being the two of us." was all he said, completely disregarding even talking to the others that had come. He had gotten fed up very quickly with the situation. "Protective brother, more or less that." he muttered, before he started walking. "Let's go Val. If we're getting out of here the sooner the better it will be."
Even Val had fallen silent, not because she was afraid but because she didn't feel like trying to hold a conversation with multiple people while her brother turned his back on them. "Come on Vic..you can't say we're exactly doing fine you know..I mean, you wear the scar to prove that the two of us aren't safe with just each other." as to what she was talking about only he and she knew, for now at least.
-
Vic stopped walking when he was spoken to. If you could credit him on one thing, it would be that at least he wasn't totally inconsiderate. For a few moments, he was silent though, clearly thinking, calculating their chances with him ranging from survival to just all out living together. And finally, he spoke. "Fine. But why pick us? There were more mutants back there." he questioned his motives for coming with them for one reason, that reason being because he couldn't put his full trust in someone he just met..not when danger could be anywhere at anytime.
Val just shook her head. "Interrogating him won't get you anywhere except disliked, Vic." the female walked over to Roy, defending him from her brothers suspicion. It was really all she could do, because she quite liked the idea of someone else being with them.
-
Vic finally waved his hand passively as his sister had done when Roy had first showed up. "Fine..I suppose you wouldn't be so bad to have around. As for your family and your search for them..giving up hope may not be in your favor. The world is large and filled with many people, you may find them somehow along the way." what he said wasn't exactly kind words, but it was something from him at least to signal a new found relaxation with having him around. He did however hear the 'to guarded' comment, and he shook his head. "There's no such thing as to guarded in this world. Around every corner could be a darkness, turn your back on it and you'll find you won't survive very long."
Val seemed pleased that her brother had finally warmed up to the idea of letting another person travel with them. She even looked a bit surprised when Vic seemed to encourage the search for the males family..or kind of encourage it anyways. But that's when he went back to his usual cold self talking about danger and darkness..but she'd stay out of it this time, because in a sense she knew he was right..but in another sense she knew he was just paranoid to. "As sad as I am to agree with my brother, if we're leaving we need to go. So many of us here..if anyone saw any of us, it could draw unwanted attention."
-
Vic studied the male for a moment, almost puzzled by his sudden willingness to leave with them. But he didn't question him again, just turned around and started walking to signal they could leave. He didn't expect this guy to listen to him or follow him like he was a leader, but in this case with them not really knowing each other he figured no words needed to be said since they were already in an agreement on leaving. It did feel strange though, walking away from a group of mutants only to bring one with them when it had only been him and his sister for so long. He shook his head, stopping in his tracks. "We didn't decide where we were going. How are we to leave when we have no destination." he sighed
Val shrugged. "I just thought we were going where the wind, or should I say, the bus takes us." she looked around the woods, the place they had called 'home' for a while. It was strange not only leaving, but to see other mutants there. Then again, little to her and her brothers knowledge there were more mutants around but in hiding. "Anyways, where are we going? Any ideas at all?"
-
(Merry Christmas)
"The only problem with us staying in a city would be the fact that we get our money by stealing it from humans." Val said, for once looking thoughtful about the situation, actually trying to help instead of being her usual uncaring self. She looked over at her brother, waiting to see his opinion about it.
"He has a point, Val. The only issue I see is that if we do take the bus..that will lead them right back to us because they'll know the city we go to and they know we won't be in a hotel, that narrows it down for them all together. So..I guess we have to fly. As for stealing, I doubt he wants to be in on pick pocketing humans, so that won't be his problem." Vic answered. "I have to admit, I don't know of many bigger cities to go to though, me and Val have always stuck to small places to avoid human contact as much as possible."
-
"Sounds good enough to me.." Vic answered, still uneasy as to trust the new male. But now was a time to be rational, and not let his paranoia get the best of him, so with that he just turned around, bringing out his wings, which was something he definitely wasn't used to considering he was so against flying around. He looked over to his side, his field of vision behind him blocked by the mass of black feathers. "..Everyone ready to leave now?" he questioned, irritated at his wariness at this point, finally just wanting to get out of there. He supposed they could stop for a map later when they were a safe distance away from the town they were already in so they wouldn't get lost later.
"Aye aye captain!' Val chimed in cheerily, her own wings nearly matching his. Other then Vics scar and their very different personalities, their wings were the only thing different about the twins. Her feathers were black but faded into a grey color at the bottom, while his were just pure black.
-
(I feel as if we should wait on the others to reply..I don't wanna flood people on accident.)
Vic shook his head, "No, we don't. Small towns..were just always easier to handle. Less crowds, less everything." he answered, flying up after the other male. "Small towns made it easy to keep focus on certain things, it made survival in general fairly easy for us. Cities are the opposite, to many people, to many things going on.." he trailed off, not wanting to share to much with the male still..but at least he was showing a willingness to speak to him at all.
Val lagged around behind them, barely off the ground. She..was just being her normal self, care-free. "Hey wait up a second!" she called out, not wanting to be left behind but in no rush to leave like they were.
-
"Neither of us know exactly when, but we were kids. So..around five or so is what we guess. You're lucky, well, not lucky considering you did get turned but-" she was cut off as she turned her head. Had someone said something? She frowned, pausing in the air. "Either of you hear anything?" she questioned, looking back over at Roy and Vic.
Vic hadn't heard anything since he was farther away from Val, but he wasn't going to take a chance. He flew back to her, glancing around. "I'll fly in the back..you stay in the middle Val. That leaves you to lead." he said, looking at Roy. "If you try anything funny, I won't hesitate to knock you out of the sky." he didn't question what Val had heard, or if she had really heard anything at all..all he knew was he was going to make sure she was protected. "I'll keep a lookout from back here. It's not the best strategy but..for now it's what we have."
-
"I won't be trouble! I just don't like school." Link said defensively. "It's boring, no fun at all!"
Nisa just smiled. Even though her kid was being as hard-headed as ever..she thought it was kind of funny.
(Skip?)
-
"You shut up! I may not remember much but I could still beat you in a fight!" she spat at him. "I didn't even want to join this group, Autumn did. Being alone is so much easier then trusting other people!" at this point, she was yelling. But it was clear..that her loner behavior came from trust issues, making it simple to see that that's why she acted like she did towards others.
-
As they started moving again, Vic did slowly drop his guard. A moving target was always harder to hit then one that was just sitting still. The silence in the air was nice to him, considering he wasn't much for talking. Honestly, the silence was helpful in a way, to keep focus on the sounds around them. That was until Val spoke again.
"So, how far is this place?" Val questioned curiously. She wasn't paying much attention to realize that they had been listening to see if they heard anything..but it wasn't a bad question either, considering it seemed like none of them were very used to flying, especially flying far distances.
-
Val smiled then. "Two or three days of freedom with flying? Awesome!" she said, excitement lighting up her voice. "This will be great, a new traveling buddy and flying all together, what an adventure." she said that mostly to herself before yet again a noise caught her attention. Her smile faded into another scowl as she once again stopped, looking down. "You guys honestly can't tell me that you didn't hear that one.."
"Just keep going. I heard it, but animals live in trees, Val..that's probably all it was. We are flying over the woods." Was Vics reply to it all. Inside, he knew it probably wasn't just an animal..but he didn't want to stop and find out if it was something dangerous.
-
(A time skip sounds good to me so everyone can join in and stuff.)
Val nodded, flying forward again. It was just a waiting game now she supposed. But this game didn't make her happy, no. She and her brother had avoided fighting for the most part..honestly she didn't know how either of them would do when fighting anymore. She guessed they'd see if danger really was near.
