Thunderpaw flattened his ears.
"Well eventually I'll get you! I just need some more training!" he defended himself. Then he smirked, "I bet I'm better than you at hunting though!"

Talonstar's pelt bristled.
"A kitty pet? Joining LightningClan?" he stared hard at the kitty pet.
"Why would a kitty pet want to join a forest clan?" he asked calmly, "With the Twolegs you have food and shelter at your claw tips. Do you want to leave all that?" -
Thunderpaw's tail fluffed out at the coldness in Blackpaw's voice.
"I'll show him!" he muttered, gritting his teeth.
"Swiftclaw! Can I go hunting?" -
Talonstar blinked a few times, clearing his head.
"Fine. He can stay. His naming ceremony will began shortly. Are there any preferences on your warrior name, Gary?" Talonstar mewed generously. -
"Alright," he mewed, nodding,"I will hold your naming ceremony at moon high."
-
Talonstar followed Featherfoot.
"Yes?" he mewed evenly. "What can I do for you?" -
Talonstar met her gaze softly, affectionately.
"I understand your concern. But this cat....he just, he seems different. LightningClan needs more warriors. If he proves to be any sort of trouble I'll send him back to his nest." he blinked, remembering the way Littlecloud was reacting to the appearance of the kitty pet.
"I'll give him a chance. Try to be nice to him, he seems like a good cat." -
Thunderpaw's eyes shone brightly at his mentor's words.
He nodded to Swiftclaw and watched the deputy race off to camp.
"I'll hunt some then go back to camp," he mewed to himself. He wanted to at least try to show Blackpaw up with his own skill before getting Swiftclaw's personal training. He twitched his whiskers in satisfaction and padded into the forest. -
Talonstar nodded.
"Yes, we shall." he mewed. The sun had just begun to set so he might as well give Featherfoot time to rest before the naming ceremony at moon high. -
Talonstar laid beside Featherfoot, letting her lick his fur. He sighed.
"You should be resting," he mewed concerned, "It's been a rough day..."Ooc: Moonsoul please fill out a character form from the first post of the rp before starting!:)

Thunderpaw glanced around the camp clearing. The private training lessons Swiftclaw had been giving him were doing wonders for the small cat. He had become quite muscular but not enough to hinder his speed or agility. He was hoping for another group session soon. Maybe this time he'd be able out maneuver Blackpaw. Thunderpaw purred at the idea.
Duskfur lay outside the warriors' den. It was a nice day, but the former queen felt something was a bit off. She could not place her paw on it, nor did it nag at her thoughts. It was just a passing feeling as she lay there.
-
Thunderpaw was shocked at the news. His tail fluffed out in horror.
Duskfur leaped to her paws, her eyes wide.
-
Thunderpaw bristled at the news about the HalfClan cat. He rushed into the apprentice den to question Blackpaw.
"Is that cat really HalfClan?" he mewed, bewildered to Blackpaw, "Is Eaglestar really just going to accept him?"Duskfur's pelt prickled uneasily at the thought of training a HalfClan cat. However, having the loving mother instinct that she does, she made her way over to see her new apprentice.
"Hello, Stonepaw, I'm Duskfur your new mentor." -
Talonstar purred loudly as Featherfoot washed his face.
"I'm lucky to have you Featherfoot." he mewed lovingly.Stone-ears glared at the former kitty pet from across the clearing.
-
Thunderpaw nodded vigorously.
"The warrior code clearly is against the love of two cats from different clans!" he exclaimed.
"Our warriors are supposed to be loyal! What if this cat would rather be loyal to RiverClan! He might even be a spy!" he mewed worriedly to the dark apprentice. -
Talonstar's eyes softened with affection as he began to lick the top of Featherfoot's head.
"Rest now," he mewed softly, "You deserve it."Stone-ears only intensified his glare as Gary approached.
-
Thunderpaw's fur fluffed out in shock.
"I can't believe we are going to take in a HalfClan!" spits angrily then composes himself.
"But Eaglestar is our leader....he knows best. It is not our place as apprentices to question him. I just hope he's made the right choice." -
Thunderpaw couldn't even answer. He just stood there, jaws parted numbly, his perfect little life shattered instantly. How could his mentor, no! The deputy, say such things about StarClan and the warrior code?! All the Clans live by it and StarClan watches from above. All Thunderpaw could do was sink down to the ground and lay there, letting the heaviness of Swiftclaw's words way him down.
Duskfur nodded sympathetically.
"Of course," she mewed kindly. "I'll be happy to show you around." -
Talonstar lay unmoving in the den, breathing in the soft scent of his mate. He watched the moons progress through a crack in the rock wall. Eventually moon high came. Talonstar rose from his nest, careful not to wake Featherfoot, and trotted out into the pale moon light. He knew the clan would be restless from the newcomer's presence. Sighing he made his way to Highledge to speak to his clan. Hopefully there won't be too much scorn at his decision.
"Let all cats old enough to catch their own prey gather below Highledge for a clan meeting!" he yowled the familar words.Stone-ears padded out from his spot in the shadows to hear his leader.
-
Frostpaw burst from the undergrowth, a rabbit dangling from his jaws.
He glared crossly at the three apprentices and dropped the rabbit.
"Great StarClan! Could you three be any louder?" he sneered. "You're scaring all the prey off rolling around like overgrown kits!" Frostpaw always thought of himself as more mature than the three apprentices in front of him, since Frostpaw was named apprentice a few sunrises before the others.
