Striker giggled, nudging Shiro's shoulder with her nose. Oh just ignore her. I think you're just fine, Shiro. Travelling almost throughout all of our territory does take a lot of energy. She smiled, straightening up and looking around. Mm- but he does have the ability. He's got confidence. And is bold. She turned silent, thinking of Ornery with a sigh. She missed her friend… Along with Hollie as well. They were practically sisters if it aren't for their looks telling them apart.

Persephone padded away from the reindeer, and trotted over tl Sprite. Tilting her head, she smiled softly at the Great Dane Rottweiler mix. Hello, Sprite. How was your afternoon today? She asked in her usual soft, light tone. The collie gazed at him warmly, and she laid down to get leveled with him.

Hercules waited, seeing that most called upon to get food were done. His stomach churned slightly as he regretted not eating anything this morning. But You didn't, so the pups could have it. That's noble, right? Right. Hercules was rarely wrong. He knew what was the good thing to do, and what was bad.

Domino chuckled, and looked at what was given to the couple. Perfect. Thank you, again. Is there anything you need after we're all done? He asked before digging his graying muzzle into the thick, rich meat.

That's one thing everyone should learn fairly quickly about Artie- he was a hypocrite. And selfish. And easily angered. Avoid these traits and you might just not get snapped at, or hated. Thanks Rain. He meowed with a simple shrug.

She didn't reply, still deep in thought as she replayed memories in her head. A pleasant, peaceful smile stretched across her maw and she unknowingly pressed against Shiro. She remembered when she first met Hawk- A Delta who had been her first crush. He always got so jealous when she talked to Ornery, or mentioned the flirty brute. It was cute, but he had disappeared. She once had a crush on Ornery, but realized very quickly that he clicked more with Hollie. Now… she didn't know if love was really for her. She had good friend's, and she felt alright with that.

The wolf hybrid perked his ears up, and smirked as Nyx voiced his good deed from this morning. He felt pride surge through his veins, and he padded over to her. Sitting next to his Alpha, he would nod. I was thinking tonight I could lead a Patrol. Just a quick border check. He offered, flicking his feathery tail. His multi-colored eye's glanced towards the couple next to him and he gave a rumble of hello.

That's fantastic to hear, Sprite. I'm glad you joined us, you'll make a great asset one day. I know it. She touched her nose to the Omega's forehead, and smiled. Do you want something to eat? I'm not hungry, I can offer you my share of the feast if you want. Then maybe later I can go get something to make your nest more comfortable. Sitting up on that ridge must be uncomfortable for you.

Domino licked some of the blood on his muzzle away, and he looked at Azara. He would ask her later though, as it seemed a story was requested from her. We'll do something soon, after I rest for a bit. I've been… tired. He avoided the word pain slyly. But it would only be a few more weeks until his hip dysplasia was given more notice and he would need be in charge of keeping pups or bored dog's occupied with stories. Striker was lucky she was still young.

He shrugged, and began pulled the body, trying to tear the rope off- clearly too lazy to do it himself. Eventually, he gave up, and let go, causing the corpse to swing and twist back and forth.

Striker had trusted Midnight to keep her friend company while she went to get Sprite her offer. The German Shepherd tore out a chunk from the reindeer, and brought it back to the Omega. He seemed a bit… more frightened, and gave a confused glance to Midnight. She dropped the food down in front of him. Here You go Sprite!

Got it. He nodded his head to her. Giving her a friendly bump of the shoulder he turned away from his friend and took a few hurried bites from the reindeer. The wolf hybrid then turned around, and looked over the small, but growing Pack. Raven, Sprite- when you get the chance come over here as soon as possible. Also Silver and Sasha. We're going on a quick Patrol, so hurry it up. He added in the last part a bit hastily, sitting down and waiting with quickly ebbing impatience.

Striker giggled a bit, brushing her nose into the fur on his chest. Do you remember Azara's half sister? She was nursing Cappuccino's pup before everyone disappeared. She was so feisty, and grumpy all the time. And flirted with Domino whenever she got the chance. She laughed a bit, her dark eyes glowing with amusement.

Domino nose the rest to his mate, and nodded slowly as she told her story. He waited for any comments or questions to be said afterward.

Good, everyone's here. Now, Sprite and Silver; I'm taking you out to get a look around the territory. Not all of it though, just the main path we usually take to hunt and such. He frowned slightly as Sprite kept his gaze down. Sasha's right. You better pay attention, because I'm not helping you back if you ever get lost. Now, let's get going before it's too dark to see past our muzzles. He huffed, padding off out of camp.

Striker smiled lightly as Sprite left, and sighed. The poor little guy. No backbone and he won't last long when we're being attacked or find invaders. He'll be taken care of in no time at all the moment they see him. Her face became emotionless, not realizing she'd been Thinking aloud. She turned away and squeezed into the Delta's den to get some sleep early.

Haha, very funny. She was so rude, and obnoxious sometimes. I can't believe Ace even let her stay with all the trouble she caused. The fae pulled away and yawned, stretching out her front paws. You want me to get something for us to eat? After that I think I'm gonna get some shut eye.

    Chapter 4

    Melody

A beautiful, slim silver marbled she-cat hid away under the cover of a fallen tree, dense shrubbery surrounding her. Don't find me here… DON'T find me here… The Shadow Knight's had found out where she had been hiding out, and immediately started tracking her. I can't believe this. Destiny said I'd be safe. I bet it was Brooke who said something… she's never liked me. A sudden rustle of leaves brought her frozen in place. Nothing she could see though, except a small part of a bush flattened where a paw would be. Then, a leg appeared, and she held her breath.

The Shadow Knight's were born into their role. When every kitten who's parent or guardian belonged to the King, they were inspected when old enough to go into Town- four month's. If seen valuable, they were taken away from the parent's and put into intense training for two whole year's. Then, they would return to their home's, but with a new identity. No one could know… they were the Kings secret service. They brainwashed you, and injected you with thing's that gave you power's so unreal… the required one was invisibility. Then depending on what you wanted to follow up to was your decision. Speed, strength, immunity, knowledge and intelligence, shapeshifting, seduction, and many more. The list could go on forever.

Melody had been one of them- used as a Spy to discover plans of attack from the East side of the Country. But, the area wasn't as big as they thought. The Kingdom they lived in now was simply a forest, succeeding in growth after the human's became extinct. Cat's formed together in large groups, and a Kingdom was born. But the East side… they lived on a mountain where the cougars thrived. Some say they lived and worked with them. But only the work of a spy would tell so. But Melody didn't want that life. She had whisked away moments before her brainwash, and had been on the run since then. That was eight month's ago… She seeked refuge with two childhood friends Destiny and Vince. Brooke lived in the upstairs room, but wasn't a friend.

Silnce… It made the she-cats fur crawl up her.spine as.she remained covered in her use of invisibility. Eventually, the cat walked away and disappeared. This was her chance! She slowly backed away, and darted off. She wouldn't become a puppet. She had seen the results of her father- she would not become so emotionless. I will not go as low as to do such actions for information. She vowed, and continued running.

    [sorry guys]

The Delta nodded to Sasha, and continued going straight on. His senses weren't as sharp as the faes, but that's why he brought her. Having a tracker at your side was always good, since they could sense danger before anyone could get into it. Calm it, Sprite. This could be great training for your sorry tail. You should be taking advantage of it. If you see anything strange, just point it out to us. he barked gruffly, not looking back.

Azara, do you remember when that stray showed up at the Pack, and fought both you and Ace? That had been a very frightening time then... You were in a coma for many, many days.

No. We draw it away from camp, by using ourselves as bait. He barked in reply to the.fae, giving her an intense gaze and looking back in front of him. Raven and Silver. I want you two to stay here. If you see anything, howl and bark as loud as your lungs can let you. Sprite and Sasha, follow me. We're going to first see where it is, so we can get a general location of where to chase off, or need to attack.
